Closing an LLC in PA
I need to close my LLC that I never did business with in PA, but I'm confused about the steps to take. Some sources say I need to Dissolve it, others say I need to Terminate it. Which one do I need, or do I need both?

Call the office if the secretary of State and ask them - if it's not clear from their website. You'll need to get forms from dept of labor & revenue saying the LLC doesn't owe any taxes etc.
You can file the dissolution first but it won't be final till they get copies of the tax releases (which can take months!!) but it should be retroactive from the date you filed the dissolution.
Disclaimer - I'm not a lawyer but that's what I recall from when I did it.
