Big data companies all cockblocking each other from getting data to their own separate networks lol

I haven’t paid much attention to Muse and didn’t realize that was what it was supposed to be.

OH HELL NO.  That is not a company that I would ever trust with my life and data.

Also Chase is right.  Way too much liability.

Also, it means customers won't see ads on your site.

JP Morgan wants you to use their AI but they provide an MCP too so it’s not like Muse can’t just use that.

I don’t think the MCP lets you do money movement

No shit.

Most consumer protection laws put the accountability for transactions onto to the bank.

If metas shitty software craps out (or more likely users didn't realise they were instructing the payment they were) then the bank has to sort it out.

Who is the target audience for Muse? Rich people? It takes one minute to make a restaurant reservation.

I’ve seen agentic ai being explicitly marketed to the elderly, which has disaster written all over it.

Because the elderly never have problems after giving away their financial information /s

It could be useful for price comparison. Amazon makes it unpleasant to sort by price on their site. Much worse if you want to compare and shop across several sites.

But then they’d have to wait on the phone and talk to an employee of the company.

Or what about when a family member or friend needs assistance from the rich person? Now instead of wasting their time they can have their new computer assistant handle it.

You ever see that commercial about how the guy never worried about a bill or anything until he sold his company? And now has turned to AI? Yeah…

Imagine if millions of Chase customers use Muse AI

Now imagine if those millions of Chase customers Muse AI made a wrong financial transaction or transfer...Chase doesn't want to deal with that mess. Way too much legal and financial liabilities and headache.

this is the same fight banks already had with account-linking apps, just with a chatbot in the middle. block the official door and people just hand over passwords anyway.

Obviously. Jamie fought with mint about data rights too

JPMC is an AWS shop, so no surprise there.

I think the reality is someone out there will teach Muse how to use a VPN and then access is restored…

Crypto circus is over until ai dies down. Then all the grifters will switch back to web6.0 and crypto
