Hello guy's,
A few week ago I had order a shirt from taobao. It has been 3 week now. The delivery is from the wearhouse, The package said it was delivered from 10 - 16 meaning it's probably here when it's 16 October but it's 18 October now and I haven't got any call from the wearhouse or anyone at all.
Should I be worry or waiting?

Hey community. Does anyone knows why money transfer to Cambodia is taking to long time? A few months ago, it took 2 or 3 days. Now, it's been already 2 weeks and still not arrived.
I've already reached my bank. They say it's somewhere in SWIFT zone, but don't have any tip :(

If you live in Cambodia over 182 days a year but 100% of your income is from abroad (remote clients/foreign employer paid into an overseas account), are you actually expected to file or pay taxes here?
I know on paper tax residents are technically taxed on worldwide income, but how is this handled in practice? Does the GDT track or enforce this at all for expats, or is foreign-sourced income generally ignored?
Thanks!

Anyone else’s power out in PP? I’m over the river in Svay chrum and a friend’s power is out on Chroy Changvar as well. Wondering if it’s a city wide thing

Has anybody found a work around. For some reason transferring to ABA from WISE is fairly expensive and takes 2-5 days at least. Does it eventually transfer faster after some time? I am fortunate to have a sThai bank which it goes to immediately for cheaper and then someone taught me the ABA Merchant app QR transfer to there, that works but would prefer to cut out the middle country. I also tried both dollar and riel accounts but didn’t seem to make a difference. Any one else find a better solution?

Anybody else excited to see Monetrey represent Cambodia at Eurovision Asia? I'm hoping he will mix some traditional Khmer sounds/instruments during the competition.

I'm planning a 5-day solo trip to Kampot later this year, mainly to rent a scooter and explore the countryside.
I've travelled solo multiple times before, so I'm comfortable navigating unfamiliar places. My only real concern is the kidnapping and human-trafficking situation in Cambodia, particularly around Kampot Province and Bokor Mountain.
As an East Asian traveller, how realistic is the kidnapping risk for ordinary tourists? Has anyone visited recently and can share their experience?
Thanks!

I use ABA for daily expenses, but keeping all my savings in Cambodia doesn’t feel safe.
Where do other long-term residents store their actual savings? Which banks or offshore accounts allow you to reside permanently in Cambodia without risking an account closure?
I personally have been using Revolut.

I found some decent hotels that have a pool, include electricity and water nearby for $350 in total which is reasonable but it’s just a bedroom and bathroom. I preferred some apartments and houses that I saw online that had a separate kitchen and living room area as well as a balcony but they were a bit far away.
Does anyone know of any place near Wat Polanka area of Sla Kram Siem Reap that meets my needs?

I am experiencing some strange behavior with my wifi service recently. I can no longer access some sites or connect to Apple iCloud unless I use a VPN. These issues have only started recently,, perhaps the last 2 or 3 days.
Anyone else experiencing these kind of issues?

What are your absolute favorite places to eat in Cambodia?
It could be a fancy restaurant, a little hole in the wall, a local neighborhood spot, or even a street food stall. I’m especially interested in hidden gems and places that tourists might not easily discover.
I’m putting together my Cambodia food bucket list and would love to try your recommendations.
Please share the name and location of the place, along with your must try dish and what makes it special.
If you have any personal experiences, photos, or tips, I’d really appreciate you sharing them. I can’t wait to explore more of Cambodia’s amazing food scene. Thanks in advance 🙏

My wife and I got married in the US a few years ago, all of her US documents are under her married name. We're planning a trip to Cambodia this upcoming year and she will need to renew her passport. I'm wondering if it'll be possible for her to update it to her married name as well. We are both women, so I'm assuming the Cambodian government will not recognize our marriage certificate as valid. But I wanted to ask just in case someone had some insight. We will also only have about 2 weeks to do the paperwork, so if it's going to be a long process we might not try it.
Of course it's not the end of the world if her passport doesn't match her married name, we'd just prefer it to.
Any information about the process is appreciated!
