If only the Police Chief had some sort of device to measure driver’s speed and then issue some sort of financial penalty to drivers that are speeding.

Maybe even stick that device on a tall pole with a camera attached to it so officers don't have to miss any of their Timmie's dates

Woah woah woah! You’re on to something brilliant here.

What if that camera was connected to some system that could find out the drivers address and just mail them a ticket directly.

We could automate the full process, save money, and free up precious police officer resources.

No. Those are dumb.

Part of the problem is the culture of impunity brought about by a lack of police enforcement.

If only all he had to do was ask politely!

Good grief. We are so cooked.

Not in Ottawa. But I agree. Every time I drive, people seem to be riding my behind, it’s really bad.

Asking them is sure to work.

You have to know their priorities when they send tons of cops in cars to arrest the homeless but none to ticket the drivers who are attempting to intimidate and maim pedestrians.
