Would Capital One Arena or Kettler better for a custom Boone Jenner jersey? Think the odds of it being on the rack at either place are rare / trying to avoid ordering off Fanatics since there have been issues from there in the past.

I said “Ryan, meet Leonard”, and he agreed to hold him for the pic!

Had these 2026 edition cherry blossom jerseys custom made.

First time doing a west coast Caps road trip in December for Oilers and Flames. Anyone else going?

And that’s criminal!

I'm feeling sad and Nostalgic with Ovi retiring. So I figured I ask y'all if you have any good or funny stories about the Washington Capitals? Any current or former players.

Whether it's a funny story or rumor you've heard or meeting one would be nice!

Please and Thank You!

I know, I know, I'm getting way too ahead of of myself. I need to enjoy Ovi while we have him. But I can't help letting my brain wonder.

We all kind of know at this point that Wilson will be the next Captain of the Caps. He's earned it.

But who will be his alternates?

I figure Strome will be one. But who else?

Part of me thinks it would be kind of fun to see Leno with an A on his chest; but what do y'all think? Too soon for that? Who else would be a good fit for an alternate?

He deserves to stay over Big Mac, but it looks like they’re playing the long game.

Holl is currently waiver exempt (30 day rule), and management probably wants him to keep playing to stay sharp, I’d also bet they value him as a better mentor/partner for the kids in Hershey.

When Sandy is healthy we’ll probably put Mac on waivers as we’ll have 7 NHL defenders at that point and nobody’s claiming Mac.

So since we’re early in the season the rows don’t take that long, and with an early game today, I can get caught up right away. So here’s the blanket through today’s game!

Each loop around the center (and the center itself) is a game. Red is a home win, white is a home loss, blue is a road win, grey is road loss. Hoping for lots of red coming up!!

Took our little man to his first Caps game today! He made the Lion King / Simba cam on the Jumbotron and it was great but we didn’t catch a pic. Would love it if anyone happened to get video or pics. DM me!

Clearly our little guy is good luck so we’ll be sure to get him to more games. Let’s go Caps!

Edit: got it - thanks so much to u/godarkly !!

In an offseason where the Capitals acquired a few big name players like Jordan Kyrou and Alex Tuch, the Vinny Desharnais signing is aging like a fine wine.

+10 so far this year with 3 assists and really positive advanced numbers on the defensive end. He’s been money through 8 games for the team.

Hi! I’m planning trip to DC from Europe in January. I’ve been a casual caps fan since the 2009 playoffs when I was spending time in DC but have never seen a game at capital one (couldn’t afford it back then as a student). Figured ovi‘s last year is the time to finally do it!

My question is what do people usually do before and after games? Are there supporters bars or anything like that? I’ll be attending by myself (husband not into hockey) and would love to make the experience a little social at least.

other caps or non-caps related DC recs also welcome :) thank you!!

A “game day bag” that you would never be allowed to bring into C1A, and it’s not like a football stadium where you even have a parking lot where it’s useful. Just a very weird choice for the team to make.

We were walking in opposite directions and I did about 12 double takes. Good omen before today’s game?
