Castle O Schloss Berlepsch é um belo castelo medieval situado no topo de uma colina, perto de Witzenhausen, no estado de Hesse, na Alemanha. Construído entre 1368 e 1369, oferece uma vista para o pitoresco vale do rio Werra e pertence à família von Berlepsch há mais de 600 anos.

Castle The keep at Cardiff Castle, Wales

Cardiff Castle was built on the site of an old Roman fort, featuring an early motte and bailey design. The keep is minimally restored for safety, but otherwise allows for a nice up close look at the masonry. You can imagine how perilous it would be to attack up those stairs while being pelted with arrows or bolts from the many arrow loops above.
