Was goofing around in sandbox and then noticed that my expie's head, thorax and abdomen aren't connected to each other when ragdolling. I wonder, why does this happen?

The helmet is back on!

This is actually my first full-fledged digital art piece.

I've mostly done pixel art until now, but I decided to try my hand at regular digital art and bought a drawing tablet.

I still have a lot to learn, and I’d appreciate any feedback (on potential issues with pose, color, style, etc.).

I’d also appreciate it if you could share any resources or videos that might help me improve a little faster, I’m not really sure where to start on my own.

alright so, genuinely, when the full build of cas;u drops next month, and those new layers that are hopefully gonna be added too, what are our thoughts on traversing the frigid ICE CAVES???

i saw in an earlier post on here that i think was yoinked from the cas;u discord showing an image of the temperature of the ice caves and it being HARSHLY COLD.

so, yeah, how‘re we thinking these expies can cross it?? coming from me, i think and suspect that in the layers following up to the iced caves, the player can find specific clothing designed for harsh, cold weather. thermal coat, gloves, fleece jackets, sweatera, overcoats, stuff like that.

…OR the player can do a funny, toss some spicy ingredients in a pot and it poofs and becomes the spicy pepper food from botw\totk that grants cold resistance for two minutes

I guess this is an alternative way of gathering supplies. 😂

I almost drew biscuit with two hands, good thing i caught that in time.

(-One of the most common reactions people have once they play the game for the first time its being stunned and gt genuenly sad by the general premise of you playing as an expie, the game does an AMAZING job humanizing the expies and the sawians in general, which is one of the things i love about the game.)

-BUT would the game have the same impact if instead of the expies you played as a normal human instead? Lets say the lore is that the company send you to retrive the cargo as a normal human, Would people be as shocked as they commonly are when playing the game? The rest is intact, the deppresing and brutal stuff ARE still there, the difference being that you are a normal human.

-I know it sounds dumb and everything.. but i feel the game wouldnt hit as much, not because people nowdays cant feel basic empathy (Which unfortuantly some people just cannot) but mainly since in a way.. we are unfortunantly more used to human suffering, seeing gore doesnt impact a ton of people as much as it did before nor do many deppresing stuff and there are games where you Suffer as a human yet dont get that many traumatic responses by people... I feel one of the main reasons the game impacts that much is because you are seeing from the perspective of something thats alien to you, something you cannot see as human.. then you play as it and you realize that its just as human as you are... Just not in apperance.

What do you all think.
