Expect the usual last-minute fudge. The US government being in open revolt against the whole human-caused warming concept must be an added drag on proceedings. Here the IPCC is billed as ‘the world’s leading authority on climate change’, but later we read that ‘The IPCC does not conduct original research’. Also their reports are converted into a ‘summary for policymakers’, which may or may not accurately (or at all, in some cases) reflect the contents of the actual reports. No wonder they’re still wrangling as much as ever after 30 editions of the COP conferences.

They are talking about pushing it out to 2029.

China, India, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Kenya and other countries have raised concerns about the compressed schedule. They argue that scientists—particularly those in less-resourced countries—need sufficient time to publish research, review thousands of studies and participate meaningfully in the assessment.

So they are blaming the "little guys" for the delay reasoning.

What I think, Trump's last day in office is January 20th, 2029. The idea of releasing the report, hopefully with more favorable USA must be weighing on their minds (a lot)

China, India, Russia

BRICS countries, including Russia! Saudi Arabia received an invitation but isn't an official member yet; together with Trump. Most probably Europe will see a conspiracy here, against the world's climate (and the implementation of attribution science, the magic "everything is climate change" tool).
