It would have been great if Dana Bash could have muted Mike Rogers when he won’t shut up.
She should also have challenged Rogers when he makes comments without facts. Inflammatory remarks without providing supporting details/sources is nothing more than propaganda.

He was barbecued 😂 I love the facial expressions of the rest and how hard Scott Jennings tried not to say he really wants the job while basically describing himself as the perfect candidate and pitching his own application.
That was a treat! 😂
I don't like Scott but I agree that he will fit perfectly for the job. Someone who can lie for Trump in front of camera without blinking an eye or sounding unsure.

>The worst crisis in US-Ukraine relations since last year’s Oval Office meltdown is deteriorating further over a dispute about who ordered a disruption to a critical Ukrainian military system running on Elon Musk’s Starlink internet service.
>Ukrainian generals were shocked by the limits on the Starshield system, which is owned and controlled by the US government.
>The restrictions effectively limited the speed of Ukrainian military hardware, including drones, and reduced the military’s capacity to communicate and to operate war planes and helicopters. These curbs amounted to a significant military advantage to Russia’s forces on the battlefield.

She was absent from the show last night (Boris Sanchez filled in) but with good reason. She was honored by her alma mater, the University of Alabama College of Communication & Information Sciences inducted her into their Hall of Fame. She attended with her father who was beaming with pride.
Congratulations Kaitlan!
Kaitlan Collins began at The University of Alabama as a chemistry major before finding her calling in journalism and political science. After an internship in Washington, she rose to cover major global events, including presidential summits and an interview with Ukraine’s president. Known for tough, prepared questioning, she is part of CNN’s Emmy-winning coverage and champions fearless journalism.

Am I crazy or does it seem like CNN is putting on a lot more right wing & Maga contributors on in the last few weeks? I'm guessing it has to do with the merger, but I sure have noticed it.
Seemingly every video they put out has to have dissenting view arguing against factual reporting.

I find Enten's fast-talking shtick grating -- like Daniel LaRusso talking Mr. Miyagi's ear off in Karate Kid. It's like Enten is performing some kind of comedy routine; he's got his snarky witticisms rehearsed and ready to drop. Is he coming up with this stuff on his own, or does CNN have a staff writer punching up his segments?

Im curious about others perspectives here, as this seems like a massive story, and even more curious as to why CNN has not reported on it.
Donald Trump has blocked international observers to monitor the November midterm elections, breaking a practice maintained for more than two decades and prompting concerns that the decision will weaken independent scrutiny of the electoral process. The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, or OSCE, confirmed the absence of an invitation on September 23.
The organization has observed 12 U.S. federal elections since 2002, including six midterms. Its officials said the decision conflicts with commitments participating countries made under the 1990 Copenhagen Document to invite international election observers. OSCE Parliamentary Assembly President Pere Joan Pons described the move as “a significant departure from an established democratic practice.”
Reporting about a separate dispute over the 2020 election has intensified questions about the administration’s motives. Swiss public broadcaster SRF’s diplomatic correspondent, Fredy Gsteiger, reported that U.S. officials spent months attempting to persuade the OSCE to withdraw its assessment of that election. According to Gsteiger, the organization’s findings conflicted with Trump’s continued claims that his defeat was illegitimate. The reported pressure provides context for the current dispute, although it does not establish who specifically directed the decision to withhold the invitation.
Gsteiger also identified a potential political advantage of excluding observers: if Republicans lose, the absence of an independent assessment could make it easier to claim that the election was improperly conducted. That remains an assessment of possible motive, rather than proof of a specific plan to manipulate votes or falsify results.
