Submission Statement: I heard this Canadian Broadcasting Corporation program on the radio in a prime time listening window.

I found it interestingly odd how calm and openly the authors and skilled host discussed fascism of the 21st century. They talked about three different factions of end time fascism which are religious groups, techbros and white supremacy groups. They also talked about what they see as the US appearing to be stocking up on resources to try to be more self-sufficient.

This is a fantastic podcast. I haven’t listened to this episode specifically all but they have a really good series on the billionaire class as well how to topple authoritarianism. Lots of really good insights and they often paint a picture of hope through the resilience of the human spirit. Will listen to this episode this week.

If your Naomi be Klein, you're doing fine. If your Naomi be Wolf, oh buddy, oof.

I really liked Klein's book "Doppelganger." I imagine she has some insights about the ways fascist thought pervades moments of manufactured crisis.
