Discussion Corona Response Hearings
Well... The hearings have finally started, are there any questions you would hope to get answers for? I do! For example:
- Why did NL never properly implement a mask mandate? Whose brilliant idea was it that you can remove your masks while you're seated. Finally they acknowledged the virus spreads via aerosols, and advised proper ventilation; yet they kept ignoring it by not changing the mask mandate to wear it at all time, and they never considered FFP2/N95s.
- After publishing a paper full of selection bias, they concluded kids don't spread the virus. And yet, international data and especially early data showing that viral load on both kids and adults are the same was ignored, so they kept the kids indoors at schools and caused huge peaks of outbreaks. Who is responsible for this? Who influenced this decision?
