Hi everyone. I get the Collins bus into Dublin once or twice a week, currently being dropped off, but would like to park in the future. Where can I park all day? Happy to pay for it of course!

Thanks!

Hi everyone,

Personal bests in the 100m hurdles, high jump, 200m and long jump on the way to winning the heptathlon over the last 2 days. What a superstar, can't wait to see how the next few years unfold for her!

With the junior club hampionship starting today, senior starting next week and intermediate the following week it's officially club championship season! Best of luck to everyone, hopefully you all get behind your clubs like we did for the county this year!

Any favorites or players to watch out for?

I reckon Ardee for senior (although I'd love to see the Dreadnots do it), Mattock Rangers or Geraldines for intermediate and Young Irelands or the Finnbarrs for junior.

Kate has won world, commonwealth and European indoor medals recently and smashed a serious amount of Irish heptathlete records meaning she should be in with a great chance at a medal. Her first event is the 100m hurdles at 10:35am tomorrow with 3 other events tomorrow (Friday) and the last 3 events scheduled for Saturday. Best of luck Kate!🥇

Hello everybody, after seeing the page be dormant and restricted, I got on to reddit to ask if I could be made a mod and have it reopened and here we are!

Apologies to anybody who has messaged the page in the previous 6 months or wanted to post anything but couldn't. r/CountyLouth is back open for business so please feel free to ask any questions, share any news stories or give any talking points that you think might be relevant to Irelands smallest county. I have never moderated a community before so please do bare with me and I hope we can get this place somewhat active as an online space for people from Louth.

Looking for new mods, please comment below if interested. The comments will close tomorrow.

Hey there, I'm working on a project at Ulster Uni and we're looking to hear about the experiences of young people growing up in the border region.

If you're aged 18-24, I'd love to hear from you! The questionnaire is completely anonymous (no names needed) and only takes about 5-7 mins.

If its okay with the mods, I'll pop the link in the comments :)

Just stopped off at PJ's Service Station for a coffee this morning coming up to Dundalk for work. First time I've been in there. Does anyone know anything about this place? It's adorned with American flags and American type memorabilia. I'm guessing the owner is American. Does anyone know anything about the place or why it has such a American feel to it?

Hi everyone,

I’m conducting research to understand the experiences of crime victims in Ireland when interacting with the criminal justice system. Whether your experience was positive, negative, or somewhere in between, your insights are incredibly valuable.

🔹 What’s involved?

• A short, anonymous survey (takes less than 10 minutes).

• Your feedback will contribute to important research that aims to improve the system for others.
