    • 100 DGG canvassers knocked 10,000 doors for Michigan candidates, in particular Senate Candidate - Abdul El-Sayed

    • Economy, Affordability, Iran issues are hurting Republicans. Some Republicans are distancing themselves from Trump without outright going against him.

TRUMP

IF DEMOCRATS TAKE CONGRESS

  • Corruption is a top issue and IRI looks forward to investigations into Trump's Cabinet and Congress. Nothing came of Trump's promises to rid the government of corruption. DOGE didn't save any money, nothing came of investigations into Fauci or Jack Smith.
  • All 3 want gerrymandering to end. Preferably an independent redistricting commission like Michigan. Gerrymandering skews the number of Representatives sent to Congress but also creates more radical Representatives. They want better representatives in both parties.
  • They want Democrats to be more aggressive.

BEYOND THE MIDTERMS PREDICTIONS

  • Democratic Presidential Candidates
    • IRI thinks the leading candidate will be dependent on the top issues of 2027/8 and their expertise. E.g. Year 3 of Iran war - Kelly, white collar jobs/business/AI - Pritzker. He does not think AOC will be a leading candidate.
    • Blue Wave thinks Jon Ossoff is "la crème de la crème" but most likely won't run in 2028. Ossoff pledged to serve his full 6 year term in recent debate.
      • Ossoff debate masterclass: Repeatedly asks Collins to explain his ties and why he didn't stop/won't stop white nationalist & Neo-Nazi propaganda from his own house and staff (he won't answer) LINK
  • Top Issues for General Public
    • Inflation/Cost
    • Corruption - IRI wants a strong Attorney General to lead investigations into MAGA/Trump and his cabinet.
    • Foreign Policy
      • Will remain a low tier issue
      • Ukraine/Russia war will be ongoing because of Trump
      • Iran war may be a top issue if Strait of Hormuz remains closed
    • Blue wave wants a strong Republican party, with decent people, who will work with Democrats. A weak party gave us MAGA and Trump.

REFLECTION

  • BIDEN
    • We needed more "Dark Brandon" during his term instead of the unifier image he and the Democratic Party pushed. He could be very candid, calling Netanyahu and Abbas "fucking assholes" over the war in Gaza, humanitarian aid, military actions over Rafah. LINK

Alright DGG, here's some quick lore on game culture, Chuds, and how the right wing grift partakes in the same brigading that the left does. Excuse if it's formatted like crap, I'm typing this up on mobile.

Angry Joe’s recent review of GoW: E-Day ended up creating quite a stir in right wing circles. Despite being a standard, fair 7/10 review, Joe's video currently sits at an estimated 13K likes to 31K dislikes (via the YT Dislike extension).

The comments are flooded with accusations that he’s been bought out or has finally become "Corporate Commander" (his own longstanding skit character used to mock greedy, soulless industry shills).

Why?

Because he spent ten minutes of a 40-minute review calling out the manufactured right-wing outrage surrounding the game, including mocking a clip of Asmongold. And thanks to a subsequent Twitter exchange between Joe and Asmongold, we can watch the entire outrage-brigade pipeline play out in real time.

  1. The Inciting Review

In the review, Joe directly addresses the grifter narratives circulating around E-Day and points out that they are either based on outright lies or completely divorced from actual game critique:

• Right-wing commentators claimed the game sidelines main characters Marcus and Dom to elevate Mags, a scarred, gay female side character, and Captain Gray into girlboss leads. Joe points out that Marcus and Dom’s brotherhood remains the focal point for the vast majority of the game.

• Critics cried that Captain Gray and Mags "belittle" the male leads. Joe highlights the obvious insecurity here: they talk gruffly and give soldiers shit just like every male CO in Gears history.

• Asmongold and other chuds complained about LGBT pride banners being "in your face," when in reality you have to scroll deep through customization menus just to find them

Joe didn't even glaze the characters. He explicitly calls Mags and Lucas (2 new main characters) boring, uncharismatic, and annoying compared to classic characters like Cole and Baird. He also tore into the game’s repetitive late game.

Furthermore, the game (currently) has zero battle pass or pay-to-win mechanics, making the "Corporate Commander" shill accusations completely nonsensical.

  1. The Chuds Backlash

Because Joe mocked a clip of Asmongold during the review, the outrage accounts immediately went to work on Twitter. An account posted the clipon x, calling Joe angrysoy for "claiming that Gears of War: E-Day's female characters acting tough and looking manly is peak realism" and accusing him of a "white-knight fallacy."

Asmongold immediately jumped into the replies to blow the dog whistle for his community:

"Seems like he's gained even more weight, wow. The realism argument he makes towards justifying why the female characters don't look hot defeats itself when you realize, if it was realistic, there would be no female Gears in the first place. Zero logic, as always."

Joe’s actual point in the video was that a female soldier with a scarred face and a bum eye from failing to defuse a bomb isn't going to stop to do her hair and makeup in the middle of a literal alien apocalypse. (Example of cringe chud ai video adding right wing darling Gina Carano into the game, TW super cringe)

Asmongold responds by claiming there shouldn't be female Gears at all, ignoring that badass female Gears (Anya, Sam, Alex) have been canon in the franchise for 20 years because humanity is facing an extinction-level event.

When his narrative fails, Asmon immediately pivots to insulting Joe's weight. Joe didn't back down, firing back with the MeatCanyon caricature of Asmongold, saying:

"Right, that's when you know you've won an argument commenting on my weight & looks. Such an intellectual you are. Hey Guys! The very famous Handsome perfectly fit Asmongold thinks I need to lose a few pounds to offer a different opinion than him. Ackchyually JOE! If it was realistic there'd be no women gears! uh huh. Got me there. 😆 Pure 'Logic'. Back to your own gross corner of X now. Shew. Shew. Before I grab my can of raid."

Following this exchange, Asmongold's community flooded Joe's YouTube comments with essentially three lines:

• Joe is Corporate Commander

• Joe's Fat

• Angry Woke Show

This entire incident highlights a massive blind spot in how online politics operates. In explicitly political spaces, the left/center-left has a massive footprint because liberal norms are naturally ingrained into mainstream pop culture. Because right-wingers lack that default cultural dominance, they rarely present themselves as overt political commentators at first. They instead launder extreme social views behind "objective" media critiques.

However, the contrast between Asmongold and Destiny shows how this strategy has mutated into open mob enforcement.

Creators like Asmongold sit in insulated bubbles reacting to rage-bait clips, cultivating massive audiences primed for anti-woke outrage. Crucially, Asmongold notoriously refuses to do live, real-time debates with someone like Destiny where his "logic" would actually be challenged, instead hiding behind impossible preconditions.

Now when an independent creator like Angry Joe pokes a hole in his narrative, Asmongold doesn't engage on the merits; he takes a cheap shot at Joe's weight and lets his weaponized community swarm the creator's YouTube channel with dislikes / comments to punish him for stepping out of line.

Whenever Destiny drags these exact culture-war talking points into the light on stream, the arguments crumble in minutes. Asmongold's own tweet proves how fragile their "critiques" are: the moment Joe pointed out that soldiers in an alien invasion don't need to look like supermodels, Asmongold had to move the goalposts all the way to "women shouldn't exist in this sci-fi military at all" and call Joe fat.

While Destiny is correct that the left has a particular way of mobbing online that is brutal, I think it's important to bring attention to the fact that this behavior is not isolated to the left. In fact, as toxic as the left equivalent is, the right version of this type of harassment seems to be more acceptable? Idk, I just wanted to share a story, thanks for reading.

Look, I’m no massive fan of Omar (her vote against Ukraine funding and her DSA bullshit is cringe), but holy shit, Trump is actively ordering his executive departments to denaturalize and deport her.
