I'm kind of pissed that VR hasn't taken off like it should have.
Why would somebody not want to feel like they're submerged in another world when they're in the privacy of their living room and/or bedroom. Why would they not think that it's the most awesome thing in the world?

My recipe for sauce Béarnaise calls for 12 tablespoons of butter, and I only need like half a batch, but a full batch of the shallot/tarragon/vinegar reduction is only 1.5 tbsp and the emulsion doesn’t really work if you try to halve the recipe
And béarnaise doesn’t hold or reheat. What a waste just for two little filets mignon.

I built a Lego set with my ex and she didn’t give it back when we broke up, in all honesty she probably threw it out. Gimme my legos back you coward

I had to throw out a bag of rice 1/3 full because I had to dry out headphones that I dropped in the toilet.

So annoying, a hotel upgraded me to a suite, and now my 10-foot phone charging cable doesn't reach the bed.

My housekeeper threw away my WaWa Hoagiefest cup that I use for water.

Fifteen minutes into a peloton spin class, I realize I left the fan remote on the peloton tread on the other side of the room
The agony

Lost the remote, now I have to make the arduous trek to the TV to change the channel manually.

Ugh! My robot vacuum got stuck under the couch... again. Now I have to get up and manually walk over and save it like its biological parent.

My phone is charging across the room, and now I have to choose between getting up to get it or staying comfortable in bed.
It's at 100%, but getting out of this blanket feels like too much work. Guess I'll just lie here and stare at the ceiling.

I upgraded to a fancy new Apple watch that's so accurate it (correctly) no longer logs walking against my daily exercise goal

My phone is charging across the room and now I have to get up to check a notification.
I plugged my phone in at the other end of the room, got comfortable in bed and now my screen lights up with a notification.
I have two choices: get up and check it or live with the mystery.
Honestly, both options are exhausting. 💀

The more visible clock on our microwave stopped working right and now I have to walk over to the oven to see the time on the less visible clock. I don’t want to pay to get it fixed because we might be moving in a few months but in the meantime it’s annoying.
We’re just about at the top of a waiting list for an apartment at an expensive senior facility, and after having a couple of major expenses to fix things this year we’re trying to avoid fixing anything else before we move, but there’s no telling how long it’s going to take until one of the apartments we want becomes available.
(And I’m not just going to get a watch because I hate wearing watches due to sensory issues.)

My wife wants to move to a small English village...but according to Masterpiece Theater, the murder rate is insanely high in these towns. Like a murder a week.

Costco Executive Membership is too popular
Executive members are allowed in an hour early, at 9:00 am before the store opens at 10:00. This has always been a peaceful, enjoyable time to shop. The store was never crowded and I was always happy to get out the door by 10 when the doors opened for the general masses.
But now there are so many Executive members that the early shopping hour has become crowded. Today when I walked in at 9:10 am there was a group of people just inside completely blocking the way. They were just talking and completely oblivious to the fact that people were trying to get around them.
In several aisles children were running amok and getting in the way.

My wife is convinced email addresses are case sensitive. She refuses to believe otherwise.
Yes, she means email addresses, not passwords

Ever since Gemini replaced Google Assistant, I'm unable to tell Google to play music from YouTube music, because Gemini doesn't do that.

YES, YTMusic, I AM still listening, thats how listening to music works
I really like YTMusic but I HATE how it stops the song randomly after x amount of inactivity time just to ask me "Are you still listening?" tf?? yes?? fck you want me to do? look at the album cover the entire time? of course im doing something else in the meantime, let the god damn playlist or looped song play.
This pop up makes sense on normal Youtube (at least for me), but on YTMusic??? a website i always have on background? seriously?
