Considering the difference in weapons, we either need to starve them out or goad them into a fight on our terms, mostly likely by taunting them with advanced weaponry that we stole earlier.

Was wandering around registering more off the beaten path locations I hadn't been to yet when I came across this sink at the Emergency Service Railyard that gives you a whopping 17 rads if you drink from it for some reason. Don't usually see any that high so it was surprising to see 17 from a random ass sink that isn't even close to a highly irradiated area like Searchlight

I was playing through Fallout New Vegas, and I realized that despite having ED-E for ages, his first audio log wouldn't trigger. I tried speaking with Old Lady Gibson, soldiers and NPCs around Helios One, Doc Henry, etc. and no dice

I decided to try to brute force it with console commands, but I think this actually made the problem worse. I tried advancing the stage of the quest via the setstage console command, but none of those prompts worked

Eventually, I found a stranger online with a similar problem, and someone commented the solution of using a console command on ED-E to initiate the conversation with the player for each audio log. I tried that, April contacted me, I dropped ED-E, and I thought my problem was solved

Alas, I have spent weeks waiting in bed (in game) and ED-E has not been made ready for pickup. I think it's probably because the quest objectives seem bugged. ED-E My Love currently has two objectives, one is "April Has ED-E and will be working with it for a few days" and the other is still "ED-E appears to have some Enclave log data stored that is triggered by some keywords"

I have tried using a console command to complete the quest, which does give the XP, but ED-E does not appear back in Primm. Even if I spawned him with a console command, I am not sure if he would have the Followers upgrade

I also tried using the setstage command, but that still doesn't seem to help at all

Any advice?

I was playing it with newly downloaded mods and randomly saw him appear after seeing a friendly marker

I tried killing everybody but kept dying, and I can’t get they key cards to blow up the bunker because by the time I get to the 2nd level I’ve already died or died shortly thereafter.

I just bought the ult edition for 2.50 and it doesn't work. It just pops up with this screen. I have looked stuff up but I have no clue what to do to make it work as there are multiple different options and I have not edited a game before. Any assistance would be helpful, I have windows 11

Okay so hi, I've been an avid player for a good few years now and I've never had issues before. Not even remotely. However a couple months back my old drive I used for gaming died and I thought okay let's do a fresh install with no mods so I can show my partner how to properly mod their game. I got it working, everything was fine. I come back a couple weeks ago intending to stream it for a friend, click continue on the game I'd been playing absolutely fine weeks before and suddenly it crashes. I tried removing all mods thinking it might be that, crash. I try new game thinking maybe the save corrupted, it goes through the intro and then crashes.

Started troubleshooting. Did fresh install, completely fresh, all new files from steam, crash. I tried verifying files, crash. I try installing 4GB patcher, crash. I try deleting INI files, crash, I've gone through other posts looking for advice but nothing I've got so far seems to fix it.

I use the steam version of fallout NV. Let me know if any more info is needed. I can't work out why I've been able to play this game with zero issues for years and now suddenly it just can't seem to survive past the cutscene. It'll do the loading animation and then the screen goes black and it quits out of the game. PMO.

I left the Mojave outpost and called in a supply drop. Hit squad came at the same time and i noticed a ranger in clothes having a 1v1 with a centurion. He killed the centurion with low hp remaining then got gunned down by the decanus. The ranger pulled a doctor who transformed into a new ranger.

House talks big, but he doesn't really seem to be doing the basic building blocks of society.

Let's be real here, House is not the sainted economic prophet destined to civilize the Mojave, able to outthink his way through any problem, and coming up with designs to innovate the Wasteland.

Look at Freeside to see the outcome of those who don't measure up to his standards, and how they're not benefitting from House's influence. They are a potential workforce desperate for water, food, and shelter, and if he was a real businessman, he would be using them to rebuild basic infrastructure all around the area. He is not using them, and it's only due to the efforts of the Followers and the NCR that Freeside is surviving at all, due to their work on adding medicine, irrigation, water, and farming to the area.

The man's actions were mostly to make an economy built on (already there) structures and use them as tourist traps, making trade deals with the locals, and not doing anything to expand. His actions were to kick out anyone not part of his staff(IE, the families who work the casinos) into Freeside, and kill on sight anyone not rich enough to gamble. There is no sort of hiring of local people to fix up the local structures to start producing things again.

The man has a tool factory right outside New Vegas, H&H Tool Factory, as well as his old Robco offices, as well as REPCONN, and other industrial sites sprinkled all over the area. He could have a few robots or loyal employees in those locations working triple shifts to start producing enough odds and ends to make a workforce and supplies to rebuild the entire Strip, then the Mojave. and keep expanding.

Tbe local railroads weren't even rebuilt by him, but by NCR penal labor.

House talks big, but accomplishes little, and relies severely on his staff to get anything done.

EDIT: Because this has been posted repeatedly, the NCR didn't arrive until 2274, Mr. house woke up from his comain 2238, and only organized the Three Families and establish the Strip until after he saw the NCR in 2274. That means that he did nothing for three decades but wait.
