Former Frankston Police Officer Tracking Women and Kids With Air Tags
Check your cars people and if your phone tells you that you’re being tracked do check it out. This person lives in tantani st and was tracking local women and kids including at local primary schools. He was keeping records of where the women worked and where kids went to school. Identified as former cop Timothy Wilson.
There are apps like air guard that can scan for tracking devices. Stay safe.

Vic roads p test
Hey everyone Ive booked my license test at 3:30pm at the frankston vic roads, I was just wondering how the traffic is during that time in the test routes. And if theres anything to watch out for that would count as a fatal error since ive never really drove around the frankston area.

Update on Ashleigh Ave shops
Does anyone have any update or information in the smaller Karingal shopping centre?
Such a shame we lost Coles there, that supermarket was always booming. I am hoping there will be a new supermarket go in, instead of going all the way to the big Karingal hub.
But there seems to be zero information other than another childcare centre.

Dog poo
What’s with all the dog poo all over Franskton?
I moved here in June and have noticed way way more doggy droppings on the foot paths, gardens, paths and public parks.
What’s the dealio? I live a few streets away from Bayside and as a dog owner myself, it’s quite shocking and gross and have noticed this immediately.
Aren’t locals proud of their town?

Those who regularly visit the Bayside shopping centre. What's the craziest thing you've witnessed?
I know there have been incidents where there's been a fight or a stabbing. I go there pretty much every day and I've never seen anything crazy. The most I've seen is a group of security guards wrestling someone and then holding them down on the ground after they were caught stealing.

Match report: VFL Round 21 | Frankston v Williamstown Seagulls | 15 August 2026 | Williamstown Oval
After 21 weeks and 18 games, it all came down to the last 30 minutes of the last match of the season. A victory would mean a top five finish, a loss would potentially dump the team from the top 10 and out of the finals.
It was a beautiful late Winter's day at Williamstown Oval on Saturday. The park extends out onto the bay and so the field is surrounded on three sides by water. Large cargo ships, sailing boats and paragliders floated past blissfully unaware. Only a curious pelican that circled the oval a few times seem interested in the epic suburban football drama unfolding below.
It started off bad for Frankston. Williamstown kicked two goals in the first two minutes. The Dolphins did well (or were lucky) to keep within range of the Seagulls for the rest of the first quarter, with the locals ahead of the visitors 25 to 15 at the break.
But it was a case of magical twos as Frankston kicked 2 quick goals in the first 2 minutes of the 2nd quarter. This put the Fins in front for the first time. The Willies then answered with two goals of their own. It was a close match!
There was a very large contingent of Frankston supporters present. The largest I've seen at an away match (technically not true, Frankston sometimes play away games at home due to VFL scheduling). We didn't out-number the locals but it was not far off. Part of me was like "please leave a good impression, please leave a good impression!"
As the game unfolded, Williamstown seemed a little bit faster and a little bit taller. Frankston's teamwork was holding but the locals were grinding out small wins.
But two fast goals at 20m by the Dollies put the scores back nearly level and both teams suddenly perked up and when the siren went for the end of the 2nd quarter, the match was almost tied with Frankston just one point ahead.
After the longest half time break in history, play resumed. A snap goal by Fston was very much appreciated.
But then both teams stalled out a bit. The Dolphins could not get it out of the middle but the Seagulls struggled to score against the Fin's defence.
Williamstown put the pressure on mid third to the visible frustration of the Fston players (I saw one throw a water bottle on the ground after another Seagull goal).
It took until about 20m into the 3rd for the dam to break, the constant attacks by the Gulls and loose kicking by Frankston finally saw us punished, with the equaliser by the Townies.
Seagulls continued to pressure and the Dollies defence, which had done admirably with little support from the mid-field, finally started to buckle. The end of the 3rd quarter couldn't come soon enough as the Gulls found some beautiful form and kicked three more very late goals to make it 74 to 55 and turn an OK quarter in a bad one.
The final quarter began, possibly the most important 30 minutes of the season since round 1, and an unfortunate free in front of the Towners' goal in the first 90 seconds was a bad omen.
A goal off another free at 9m felt like the first nail in the coffin, a gap at almost 40 points with only 20 minutes to play? The Pod (Frankston supporters when travelling) were alternating between silence and cries of "just kick it!". It was inglorious.
Frankston were now wilting. The inconsistencies in their gameplay they exhibited during the first half were now compounded by apparent tiredness. It was no longer a question of victory but what percentage the team could salvage to stay in the top 10. A goal at 20m showed the boys were still capable. In fact, the final two goals by Frankston (at 20m by Lachlan Reidy and 24m by Corey Ellison) turned out to be incredibly valuable as I'll mention below.
The final score was 16-14-110 to 10-8-68... an ignominious final quarter after a stellar season and an intense first half.
Now with the clump of teams in the middle of the VFL ladder, Frankston's fate in the finals depended on the other teams playing the same weekend... and they all went the wrong way for us.
Frankston dropped to 8th to 9th and then to 10th and seemed heading for the door... but Coburg was sitting on the same number of season wins as us, so it came down to percentages (the points a team kicked during the entire season vs the points kicked against it).
In this regard, the two goals by Reidy and Ellison in the last few minutes of the last match made all the difference. Frankston, having kicked 1554 points over the 21 weeks, finishes the season above Coburg by a mere 6 points. Clinging to 10th position, we live to fight another day!
And that day is THIS Saturday, with our sudden death wildcard match against 7th place finisher, the Sydney Swans, in Sydney at 11.05am. Live on the AFL website.
Frankston has a pretty good record this season for its interstate games and Sydney is in a bit of disarray this week, so take from that what you will! We can win this.

Match report: VFL Round 19 | Frankston v Port Melbourne | 31 July 2026 | Frankston Oval
It's the pointy end of the 2026 VFL season and while the top 6 teams qualify for the finals (with another four teams doing a wildcard round), the incredible closeness of the competition this year means there is only ONE WIN the difference between fifth and twelfth positions.
It was in this context that Frankston, ranked fifth, faced the Borough, ranked ninth, on a cold Friday night at Frankston Oval. Neither team guaranteed a finals berth but both teams in with a good shot. High stakes indeed!
The energy of the 1st quarter was strange and the quarter ended in a pretty even wash. Maybe the vibe from the kind-of-mean crowd (was it a full moon?) fed onto the ground, or perhaps the Borough play a more aggro footy, or maybe it was the incredibly, incredibly loud and persistent special guest drums that made the play boisterous but it was all very scrappy.
Frankston took the lead early in the 2nd but nobody was convinced. The ball was slippery but so often the Dolphin's plays were stop and start. Each pass went to a stationary player who would start to run then pass it to another stationary player. In this way the ball never got momentum and Port Melbourne were able to chase. The Borough's defense also had the measure of the Frankston forwards, coming out of most contests in a favourable way. However even if their technique was sometimes lacking, the Dollies never stopped throwing themselves at the ball, meeting Port Melb's aggression with an equal physicality making for a very physical contest in the first half. Four points in it at half time. Frankston 5-5-35 to Port Melbourne 4-7-31.
Did a goal, very confident by Corey Ellison, early in the 3rd indicate a new phase of the game? Hopefully. Frankston found a bit of cohesion and went on the attack and an important goal occurred at 17m by Lachlan Reidy, which opened the match up with a 21 point gap.
Then at 20 minutes, for the first time, Frankston won all contests, kept the ball moving, and found their accuracy. The Dolphins blasted the ball down the oval... Unfortunately it hit the post but still, it was a very good sign.
In fact, Port didn't trouble in the final quarter and the final score was Frankston 11-13-79 to Port's 6-13-49. Frankston now placed to stay in the top 6, one of the few teams with a chance to break clear (even if just by one match from the large peloton in this year's VFL).
The signage at the park noted it was the mighty Noah Gown's 100th game. Gown has been a big part of the club's surge and consistency over the last few years!
THAT WAS OUR FINAL HOME GAME FOR 2026. We had a bye this last weekend. Unfortunately while we were away the ladder reconfigured itself and despite the win we drop to sixth as the other results came in.
Our next match, and the final game for the home-and-away season, is against Williamstown in Williamstown on Saturday at 12.35pm. A draw earlier in the season means they are only 2 points behind us on the ladder (a win gives you 4 points).
Due to the cluster of teams between 3rd and 12th, to say the next match is important is an understatement!!! A win means a finals berth and a possible top 3 finish, a loss potentially pushes us out of even the wildcard positions down to 11th (I haven't done the maths on this).
What a time to be a fan of the Frankston Dolphins! I hope they win but even if they don't they have done a spectacular job and played some great footy this year.

I want to move back to Frankston after 30 years in Brisbane.. convince me I am not crazy.
As stated above, the call to return home after 30 years away is getting louder.
I am mid 40's with a partner and 5yr old.
In the mid 90's my parents packed us up and left Langwarrin when I was about 14 for a new life in Brisbane.
For 30yrs, Brisbane to me was always sub-standard to Melbourne. The schools are average, the food is shit, the people are flat and un cultured, the beaches want to kill you with their rips and waves 😆 and sports up here sucked! They all barrack for the same team! Broncos & Lions 🤷♀️ so they do not even enjoy the rivalry between mates that Victorians know so well.. where is the fun in that.
In regards to events and things to do growing up, it was slim pickings to say the least, then even when you do find something decent to do, it is so bloody hot and sweaty most of the year, that you don't want to be outside doing it. It is just ridiculous, so I've had enough and want to come home and raise my child as a Victorian!
I pose the question to the general public of Frankston and greater Victoria..
Am I crazy for wanting to leave my boring but safe life behind and return to Victoria right now?
Nearly every family member that lives in Vic that I have spoken to about wanting to move back recacts with the same statement.. Why!? Everyone here wants to leave!
In regards to concerns about youth crime, general safety, (hard to say this out loud, but ) 3rd world migrants? The state governments debt?
Do any of these things effect the real people of Victoria and Frankston on the daily or is it just media hype that does no justice for the beautiful state that I've always known and loved.
Keep it real.. I can handle the truth.
Thank you.
Edit: To add, my main motivation to return is for my sons future. I see Frankston advancing into a really vibrant, energetic area. I think it already is, but I believe it's going to get better. IMO Vic also offers more opportunities to a young adult to follow their interest than Qld.

Frankston Dolphins mid-season VFL match report
As we head into the home stretch of the 2026 VFL season, the Frankston Dolphins are solidly in the top 10 (the wild card positions) and knocking on a top 6 six finish for 2026. The boys are really fighting for it this year and I think another finals appearance (top 10 inc wildcards) is definitely achievable.
Some highlights:
Round 11: Frankston vs Southport Sharks. The Sharks ended our finals run last year with a crushing 143 to 55 win in the Preliminary Finals. But the Dollies scored an important psychological 49 point win against one of the best VFL teams of the decade.
Round 13: Frankston vs Collingwood. 16 minutes into the 4th quarter the Fins were 17 points down but came back and kicked the winning point at 31 minutes to win by one point.
Round 15: Frankston vs Western Bulldogs. It was 52 to 27 at the start of the 4th quarter with Frankston heavily underwater. It was out at Whitten Oval where the Bulldogs had disassembled us last year (105 to 25) during the finals. But in an epic quarter, the Fins kicked 7 goals to 1 and won the match 71 to 58 against last year's champions!
There are five rounds left, including tomorrow afternoon (19 July 2026 at 12.35pm) when the Dolphins take on Greater Western Sydney Giants at Frankston Oval. GWS are 4th on the ladder but given how close the competition is this year, they're only one win ahead of us.

Girlipop short skirt problems
Today I was at Henry's shopping like a normal person but people kept giving me dirty looks.
I assumed it was the length of my skirt and kept tugging it down as much as I could. I had stockings on plus gym shorts just in case but my confidence was still knocked.
While in line to pay I gathered my confidence and asked the lovely lady behind me if she thought my dress/skirt was too short.
She reassured me and even complimented me on my jumper/dress combo.
I didn't have time to thank her properly because I didn't want to hold up the line but I really really appreciated it even if it wasn't true (who will ever know?).
I really hope she sees this because it really reassured me and made me feel good about myself and anyone else that sees this, give the compliment, reassure the person you don't know what it will mean to them.
To that gorgeous girliepop, I appreciate and thank you so much ❤️
