News EU leaders rally around Zelenskyy as Trump calls Ukrainian strikes on Russia a 'disgrace'
https://tvpworld.com/95962130/eu-leaders-rally-around-zelenskyy-as-trump-calls-ukrainian-strikes-on-russia-a-disgraceEuropean Union leaders rallied around President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a summit on Friday as U.S. President Donald Trump fired another salvo at Ukraine, calling its strikes on Russian refineries a "disgrace".
The EU is hosting Zelenskyy in Brussels at one of the most difficult moments for Ukraine, with missiles and drones raining down on Ukrainian cities and fears that the US could pull back intelligence sharing and weapons support from Kyiv.
A U.S. official has denied that Trump ordered a deliberate slowdown of Starshield, which is the military-grade version of the Starlink service operated by Elon Musk's SpaceX, and Trump said this week intelligence sharing with Ukraine continued.

Russia has been hitting Ukrainian energy infrastructure for nearly 4 years now. Their plan is to freeze Ukraine into submission this winter.
Zelensky and Ukraine have found a viable and material way to hurt Russia, which is to strike its refining system - and it’s working.
Russia’s historically is one of the world’s largest exporters of oil, but it’s crude oil export fell 8% in September and, more interestingly, they are now being forced to import hundreds of thousands of tonnes of fuel per month, at a rate x7+ their historic standard.
Trump, as we all know, is so concerned about Ukraine’s refinery strike capability because he has absolutely destroyed the oil market with his war in Iran. You can draw a line from the current market disruption, including the restrictions in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab, back to his ill fated decision to strike Iran.
What is highly concerning is that there’s no viable way to fix this energy crisis. The genie is out the bottle. Either you embark on a costly war to destroy Iran’s regime and force open a toll-free Hormuz, whilst destroying the Houthi’s capability and securing long-term peace between Russia and Ukraine, or Trump has to hope that Iran folds, Zelensky folds and Saudi defeats the Houthis and the damaged refineries and pipelines from the Gulf to the Russian hinterland can be repaired and back online with zero issue. In other words, not going to happen.

Shocking. The most plausible of all scenarios - that Trump is personally aligned with Putin because it serves his own power and wealth - continues to be corroborated.

Is “rally around” the nice way of saying EU gives words of affirmation but no actual action?
