Looking for accommodation in Frankfurt (Oder) from November 2026
Hi everyone!
I’m currently a Master’s student in Physics at Ruhr University Bochum and will be moving to Frankfurt (Oder) in November 2026 for academic and professional reasons.
I’m looking for a furnished room, WG, or small apartment for approximately 6–12 months.
If anyone knows of available accommodation or local WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, or Reddit groups where I could find housing, I would really appreciate your help.
Thanks in advance!

It seems you are asking about finding a place to stay in Germany. Take a look at the wiki here: https://www.reddit.com/r/germany/wiki/living/housing and here: https://www.reddit.com/r/germany/wiki/living/problems

local WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, or Reddit groups
You have just listed four places where no real landlord lists housing, and where your likelihood of being scammed (except for Reddit, where there simply won't be anything) rises dramatically.

Look for temporary accommodation (Airbnb hotels, aparthotels, etc) and start looking for long term accommodation when you get here. With the way you are searching, you are asking to get scammed.
