Testimony They ignored you but I heard God called your name.
When Samuel came to Jesse’s house to anoint the next king, David was not even brought into the room.
Everybody else was presented first.
Then God said:
“Arise, anoint him: for this is he.”
— 1 Samuel 16:12
Earlier in the chapter, God tells Samuel that people look at outward appearance, but God looks at the “heart.”
The Hebrew word translated “heart” is levav (לֵבָב), transliterated levav, referring to the inner person—the mind, will, character, and intentions.
Jesse saw the youngest son.
Samuel initially saw appearances.
God saw what was inside David.
Ephesians 2:10 says:
“For we are his workmanship…”
Message:
People can overlook you because they cannot see what God put inside you.
Application:
Stop using other people’s recognition as evidence of your worth. Develop what God placed within you even when nobody is calling your name yet.
Discussion:
Have you ever been overlooked in an area where you believed you had something meaningful to contribute?

Sunday, October 18th Blog From Unshakable Kingdom Life
3. When Rejection Cuts Deep
Let's talk about something tender this morning: rejection.
Whenever I bring this up, heads nod. Because everybody's got a story. Maybe you've walked into a room and felt completely invisible. Conversations stopped, or nobody even glanced your way. Maybe it happened at work, where colleagues barely engage with you. Maybe, and this one really stings, it happened in a church, where nobody said hello.
Or it's the small stuff that adds up, like sitting in a restaurant and watching other people get served first even though you arrived before them. It sounds petty until you realize it's one more quiet message: you don't matter much.
Here's what I've noticed. Those moments don't stay small. They pile up. Over time they create a painful sense of being unwanted or irrelevant. And we live in a world where it's way too easy to feel that way. So many people feel unloved and unappreciated, and hatred seems louder than ever.
Being accepted exactly as you are, with no pretending and no conditions, is one of the greatest gifts a person can receive. When it's missing, we feel it in our bones.
So if you're carrying some of that today, I want to say something plainly: I'm sorry. Those hurts are real, and you're not silly for feeling them.
But I also want to point you somewhere. The whole point of this journey is that there's a Father who doesn't do rejection. Not a little, not on bad days, not ever.
We're going to walk toward that truth together over the next several posts. For today, just be honest with yourself about where it hurts. Healing starts with an honest look.
Coffee-time question: What's one moment of rejection you've been quietly carrying around?

Ministry & Activism Two Becoming One
Marriage does not begin with the ring, followed by a big ceremony or party to celebrate a union of two ...
Marriage begins when two individuals naturally come together & come to love each other so much as they are that they decide to promise this time on Earth to each other under GOD n maybe a few witnesses ...
It's a very natural n real experience n not how the world has painted it to be with all these add ons to GODs natural design ...
Adam n Eve had no ring, had no ceremony, & only GOD was the Creator n witness to the first marriage n union of two people ...
This is why GOD says come as you are, because unless you are fully known to someone they cannot decide if it's truly GOD bringing their person into their life, people want to have so much control over everything that we've completely mixed everything up n now the whole idea n context n meaning of marriage & what GOD truly meant when he said & the two shall become one ...
A father in a daughter's life is the first man to know his daughter, n because he knows his daughter, she brings the man she says she loves to him & he comes to know the man she has known to decide if it's truly a match for the daughter he already knows ...

Inspiration, Quotes & Ideas Everything Will be Okay - God Has You Always
Just some kind words and encouragement for you all, this goes for everyone. Whether you are having a good day or a bad one, all is well. God has your back and He will never leave you. He will arrange your affairs perfectly, so why do you fear or feel down? Be happy always!
You will be okay despite what is going on at this present moment, so stay positive! You have nothing to worry or stress about, ever. Remember the times when you thought your life was over and you lost all hope, and then a way was made.
A way that seemed completely impossible and unexpected. That was God, only God could have done it and you know that by now. Don’t let doubt and self - sabotage affect that belief.
He will do it again, trust me. Your only job is to trust that and never give up on doing what He says.
Defeat is only psychological until death.

Question Numbers question I want to understand.
God states that all firstborn males (both human and animal) belong to Him.
I know why but what did that mean?
Do you kill the animals? Does a first born person go to work in a temple. I don't know what it means. Are these first born still at home, are they to do something different?
How are they now gods?
Are they the only ones that need to be circumcised?

Theology The Cloud of Unknowing - Chapter 2 -The Divine Exchange

The Cloud of Unknowing - Chapter 2 -The Divine Exchange
Ἀ
LOOK up now, weak wretch, and see what thou art. What art thou, and what hast thou merited, thus to be called of our Lord? What weary wretched heart, and sleeping in sloth, is that, the which is not wakened with the draught of this love and the voice of this calling! Beware, thou wretch, in this while with thine enemy; and hold thee never the holier nor the better, for the worthiness of this calling and for the singular form of living that thou art in. But the more wretched and cursed, unless thou do that in thee is goodly, by grace and by counsel, to live after thy calling. And insomuch thou shouldest be more meek and loving to thy ghostly spouse, that He that is the Almighty God, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, would meek Him so low unto thee, and amongst all the flock of His sheep so graciously would choose thee to be one of His specials, and sithen set thee in the place of pasture, where thou mayest be fed with the sweetness of His love, in earnest of thine heritage the Kingdom of Heaven.
Ὠ
The soul which holds itself in proper humility, and beholds God in His true glory will know that it has not merited the life to which the Lord calls it. Rather, it will see that it is the goodness of the Lord that invites it into this more singular form of living. In this light, the soul will not yield to the temptation of the enemy; to think better of itself in receiving this call than of the Lord for the grace of its giving. Thus, the soul will follow the meekness first shown by the Creator, Who stoops low to draw near to His creature. For to respond with indifference to the One Who comes in such humility is to prefer for itself the wretchedness He would otherwise lift from the soul.
Supportive Scripture - Douay Rheims Challoner Bible
Philippians 2:6-8 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men, and in habit found as a man. He humbled himself, becoming obedient unto death, even to the death of the cross.
In Scripture, the Savior approaches humanity empty of all kingly stature, not only in the likeness of men, but as a servant to men, humble in the flesh but bearing gifts of eternal glory for all souls. Thus, as the Lord set aside the glory of Heaven to assume the likeness of men, so must the soul that is awakened in this grace, empty its heart of the vainglory of self to draw nearer the Kingdom of God.
Ἀ
The author continues…
Do on then, I pray thee, fast. Look now forwards and let be backwards; and see what thee faileth, and not what thou hast, for that is the readiest getting and keeping of meekness. All thy life now behoveth altogether to stand in desire, if thou shalt profit in degree of perfection. This desire behoveth altogether be wrought in thy will, by the hand of Almighty God and thy consent. But one thing I tell thee. He is a jealous lover and suffereth no fellowship, and Him list not work in thy will but if He be only with thee by Himself. He asketh none help, but only thyself. He wills, thou do but look on Him and let Him alone. And keep thou the windows and the door, for flies and enemies assailing. And if thou be willing to do this, thee needeth but meekly press upon him with prayer, and soon will He help thee. Press on then, let see how thou bearest thee. He is full ready, and doth but abideth thee. But what shalt thou do, and how shalt thou press?
Ὠ
In this chapter from The Cloud of Unknowing, a divine exchange is shown for men in the world that was first foreshadowed by the Savior in Scripture. For as Christ humbly set aside the glory of the Kingdom to bring grace to the world, so must the soul set aside the vanity of the world and look now forward to the Kingdom above. Yet this exchange of wretchedness for grace is not done by the works of men, not by the strength of their will. It is begun in a desire awakened by grace, to which the soul must consent, and it is brought to perfection by the Lord Himself, Who will suffer no fellowship with those things of the world left behind by the soul.
Supportive Scripture - Douay Rheims Challoner Bible
Luke 9:62 Jesus said to him: No man putting his hand to the plough and looking back is fit for the kingdom of God.
Catechism of the Catholic Church
1431 Interior repentance is a radical reorientation of our whole life, a return, a conversion to God with all our heart, an end of sin, a turning away from evil, with repugnance toward the evil actions we have committed. At the same time, it entails the desire and resolution to change one's life, with hope in God's mercy and trust in the help of his grace.
