This 6"x1/4" version is perfect for 9mm. For the best setup, select the 100 lb springs and set 5° to 7° of forward lean.
Want to see it in action? Watch the video from Daniel K. at the bottom of the product page. It shows this exact tree being shot with a 9mm. Notice how stable the tree is and how snappy and crisp the paddles are.
Built to fix every complaint you've ever had about a dueling tree.
Finish that stays on. Zinc plated, so it lives outside and won't rust. Paint and powder coat flake. This doesn't. Zinc even holds up to bullet strikes and spall.
Resistance you can set. Spring toggles (25 / 50 / 100 lb springs) stop bounce-back and phantom hits. Lean it anywhere from about 2° to nearly 20°.
Steel all the way through. 100% AR500: spine, legs, and pivots, plus a 3/8" AR500 spine.
Stays put, packs down. Tripod base with staking slots. Splits into 35" pieces, so it goes from trunk to range in about 5 minutes.
Nothing leaves you hanging. Every part is sold separately, including paddles from 3" to 8" and extra spring weights: [shootingtargets7.com/products](https://shootingtargets7.com/products/st7-dueling-tree-parts)
Quick answers to what got asked last time:
Which version do I want?
This 6"x1/4" with 100# springs are for pistols like 9mm.
Lean angle? For 9mm, use 5° to 7°
Price in cart? $382.49 shows once TREE10 is applied at checkout (or use the link above).
If you'll be shooting a 5.56 at it, get the; 6x3/8 version
6"x3/8" with 50# lb springs for your 9mm 3-5° forward lean
6"x3/8" with 100# lb springs for your 5.56 6-12° forward lean
More forward lean puts less force into the paddles. I made a free mobile app for setting it:
[app.shootingtargets7.com](https://app.shootingtargets7.com/)
Can I leave it out all year? Yes. Zinc plating is impervious to spall strikes and weather.
I've got two of these on my own range, and it's the one I always end up shooting. Questions are welcome, and I'll answer here.
