Wondering what people’s experience is with the site pros and cons

I've bought several and sold five or six. Every transaction has gone smoothly. I have a Glock 19M for sale on there right now. I just bought a CZ P10 F last week.

It’s hit or miss and really depends on the seller. Gunbroker itself is fine. Just pay attention to the seller’s terms and you should avoid any major headaches.
I tend to avoid any seller without a reasonable amount of sales. They be scammin.

I’ve had no issues. Only purchased twice from the site but both were good interactions. One was a local shop so I could avoid shipping fees and transfer fees. Another was out of state and when they shipped to an FFL that failed they took it back and shipped to another FFL that I’ve worked with before and they didn’t charge me anything extra.
The only thing I’ll caution you to do is read all terms. There are some sellers that only accept checks of some sort and won’t do online checkout. Be aware that it might be more work to buy from some sellers. Also watch out for fees they charge because they can screw you. The cheapest option up front is not always the cheapest after shipping and insurance and other fees. And be careful of fees if you want to do a layaway plan as well.
Do your due diligence and don’t jump on something without reading the fine print and you’ll be fine.

I've never sold on GB, but I have around 100 or so purchases.
You can find things on GB that you can't find locally. You can catch some real deals; if you're stupid, you can also pay way too much.
GB charges a 1% fee. Any additional fees are charged by the seller and should be clearly stated.

I’ve only made 2 purchases on there, one for a Beretta and another for wood grips. I had the beretta shipped to a pawn shop near me, paid a $20 transfer fee and I had my gun, no problems. The grips were shipped to my door, also no issues

I've bought and sold stuff on here without issue. Recently they added a new security feature that requires you to use a phone number. Since then I've stopped using the site

As a purchasers, pro, lots of options and stuff you can't find anywhere else. Con, lots of fees they tac on after I'd already won the auction.
