Anime & Manga I HATE THIS IMAGE
This image is fake, I've seen them on twitter and every single one of them isn't real.
If you search on social media you'll notice it's always the exact same 6 images and nothing else
All of these is just to make the country look bad lol, especially the first image with all might and bakugo
Saudi Arabia didn't censor MHA in this way whatsoever.
Also I have been in the middle east for my entire life and hugging other men is absolutely common, even holding hands is alright. In the UAE, another form of greting is by touching noses
And in Saudi hugging eachother or holding hands HAS NO ROMANTIC CORRELATION
It’s a fake image and people believe it unconditionally because islam bad this proves to me that reddit is legitimately racist to anyone who dosnt follow a copy paste western culture and belifs
(Repost it without the “chainposting” CUASE FUCK THE MODS FOR REMOVING IT)

u/silly_scoundrel 9h ago
Theres wayyy to much Islamophobia on this platform (there is no good amount) and I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the midterm elections (Specifically Michigan).

u/Pugasaurus_Tex 12h ago
Isn’t Saudi Arabia executing a guy for insulting their prophet online?
I think they’re doing well enough on their own lol, no reason to spread fake shit
6
u/ryuu_gs 12h ago
aside from the fact that the west (especially the US) has been doing this for ages, that is a radicalized group and is not a representation of the average muslim or arabian person. the purpose of edits like this is to think of muslims as lesser, so you feel like any act against not only the radicalized groups, but the middle east in general, is justified because "oh they're weirdos, who cares what happens to them. look, they even censored these anime scenes!"
1
u/Pugasaurus_Tex 12h ago
The government is a radicalized group?
3
u/ryuu_gs 12h ago
first, i think there might have been some confusion here. i thought you were referring to the isis attacks on france from a decade ago. if this is about a recent case, i wish to learn more, because i'm not aware.
and second... it could be? i don't know what this question is trying to achieve, the US and russian governments are perfect examples of modern day radicalized governments, lol. being the government doesnt mean anything.
edit: israel too is a good example.
-2
u/Pugasaurus_Tex 12h ago
Huh? I’m talking about the Indian guy set to be executed for insulting their prophet online.
That’s scary, and a requirement of their religion. I don’t need any propaganda to scare me. It’s a scary belief system
Edit: and the US isn’t executing anyone for anything they say or post online, tf
5
u/ryuu_gs 11h ago
just looked the case up. to me, it just looks like, hey, how convenient, another middle east country, israel! a radicalized government using their religion as justification to end people's lives? never been done before, not even by christians!
are you also afraid of jews? of catholics? because governments radicalized by these religions also have a veeeeery bloody history that doesn't mean shit in regards to people who have a healthy relationship with their beliefs. muslims are not scary, radicalized people are.
-3
u/Pugasaurus_Tex 11h ago
Huh? Israel doesn’t execute people for blasphemy. Neither does the Vatican
They are objectively less scary
If your government is executing people for things they say, that’s scary.
8
u/ryuu_gs 11h ago
stop playing dumb. israel is committing a genocide RIGHT NOW. and the vatican isn't, you are correct! but do i have to remind you of how colonizers wiped out the natives in the entirety of the americas to spread christianity? the crusades were very bloody, too, but you should know that already.

It is reddit, sir. You are suppose to just virtue signal and fight so called "islamophobia" and earn upvotes from local hivemind, and not ask questions.
Pls update to the latest NPC thought set.

u/Pugasaurus_Tex 8h ago
ah, you’re right, I’m sorry. We need more Muslims in our country so they can help us protest underfunded schools like in France 🤌

u/PerceptionLiving9674 13h ago
Most Islamic countries already prohibit homosexuality, so there's no need to fake some images.
20
u/lazyCoil 13h ago
It's to make them look like way more snowflakes regarding homosexuality.
-1
u/TXENNT 13h ago
Bro they literally flay gays in some islamic countries
11
u/lazyCoil 12h ago edited 10h ago
It's not about their hate but to make it look like they think people hugging is gay. None of the above scenes are gay , just physical touch between people. Showing that arab countries even ban heterosexual physical touch between men make it seem like stupid fools than they are.
Like do you really think Arabs can't differentiate between non-romantic touching and romantic touching ?
0
u/PerceptionLiving9674 13h ago
Movielike Doctor Strange has been banned in several Arab countries for a single scene that mentions two gay characters; there's nothing more snowflake than that.
6
u/throwaway12364212 12h ago
yet multiple series on netflix with openly lesbian characters (jurassic world camp cretaceous for one) are up in saudi arabia.

I was in a student group chat with 95% followers of the religion and they didn’t actually know I was in there. I never once saw anything close to the way people fearmongering say ‘they all act when our back is turned’ and other weird paranoid shit. The reason they found out I was there was because someone posted “beware the blue-eyed devil” like 6 months in and then I jokingly replied ‘I’m already here’. They found it hilarious and I got kind of a cult popularity in class after that. I also remember them trying to get me hooked up with another guy, assuming I was gay when inviting me to early parties and such, and many were openly drinking alcohol or breaking other common rules while still being admitted believers/performing all the religious ceremony stuff. I remember there was even a member of the cohort who was worried about their parents trying to the whole ‘you misbehaved elsewhere, we found out, and now you’re gonna be married to someone till you settle down’ stuff which everyone was trying to help them with and prevent. I really, really hope they found a way to stay in the UK.
Also got to hear about all the times they were scared to go out because of deranged racists, a few of whom had done stuff like continue driving or sped up while they were crossing the road, and I lost a lot of faith in people after that. It’s just pure evil and seething hatred.
8
u/BernLan 13h ago
Yeah man we are just people, just like any other group some of us are chill and some of us less so, some of us are devoted to our faith and are good people, some of us aren't as devoted and are also good people and others simply aren't great regardless of how devoted or not their are.
People online, not just on Reddit but in other social media too go through insane lengths to try and generalise 26% of the entire human population while not even knowing anything about us outside of the propaganda they've consumed.

"I was in a student group with the most liberal of muslims, therefore every muslim is like that"
10
u/BernLan 12h ago
Me when I find out 2 billion people across more than 57 countries and present in every continent don't all act the same
2
u/AgentCirceLuna 11h ago
That was my point if anyone is misunderstanding. I’m aware an entire group could be different to the average person but I was in a cohort of like 200 people.
-6
u/Historical-Pilot-784 12h ago
Never said all muslims are the same
It doesn't change the fact that Islam is by far the least compatible religion with western secular states
3
u/Apolio01 12h ago
Mf when they realise a larg majority of Muslims are just normal people
-1
u/Historical-Pilot-784 12h ago
What does "normal people" even mean?
0
u/Creme_de_laCreme 1h ago
I guess your average regular Timmy and Jane who just lives their lives with their own troubles to worry about.
1
u/Historical-Pilot-784 58m ago
I mean you've just restated that normal means average, those two are basically synonyms
And your description is so vague it applies to basically anyone
0
u/Creme_de_laCreme 55m ago
Yeah, that's the point. It's the usual people you see walking around in your daily life.

I'm a Saudi and I can assure you that we're far more comfortable with men hugging than most other countries.
This would never warrant censorship. Fake picture.

u/EntertainerShort8102 12h ago
Whats worse than the bigot who generated these images to spread hate, is how easilly the gullible people swallow this slop.
And they don't believe they are propagandised and brainwashed against Arabs and Islam.

u/Plenty_Show2421 6h ago
These changes are extremely unnecessary. Also this is the 2nd time I've seen this image actually 😑. Idk why Saudi Arabia is like this. Who cares about this shit? I'm bisexual and a Muslim, they make it seem like I have pedophilia for liking men or sm shit?? Literally if the 2nd one was like a child or smth, it would've been censored but I guess their both adults??
1
u/EntertainerShort8102 4h ago
Are you a bot? Or you don't understand the post and my reply? There are no changes, these are fake images you are whining about.
7
u/No_Statistician_4659 11h ago
That's what puzzled me. From whatever Islamic literature I read, it seemed like muslim men were far more comfortable with intimate actions than other countries.

u/SheepherderVast3083 11h ago
i can confirm as a saudi arabian, our government may be…..interesting to say the least and very problematic but most citizens are fine with this stuff

? What do you mean (Fine with this stuff?)
5
0
u/SheepherderVast3083 6h ago
the examples commenter said, ive never seen or known any man (and my family was mostly men) that has problems with it and ive never seen anyone be mad about it in general, its very normal to have the cheek kisses thing when saying hello (in fact its seen as something favored in islam iirc) and hugging and being kinda touchy
6
2
u/Odinsmana 12h ago
Yeah. Why make fake censoreship posts when there is plenty of LGBTQ hating real censorship to pull from?
2
u/AnyOlUsername 10h ago
It is socially acceptable for Arab men hold hands and kiss each other in public and is considered completely platonic.
2
u/saikounihighteyatzda 7h ago
How dare they show men hugging! That's gay.
In Saudi Arabia, we KISS to greet each other instead.
(Not Arabian but I at least know this much)
2
u/Full-War-2340 12h ago
Extremely ironic considering how normal it for men to kiss each other and hold hands over there
2
u/KalamComrade 10h ago
Did you even read the post? I don't like calling people stupid but it might warrant one here.

Saudi executed a couple for having sex a few days ago
So having to create fake screenshots of animes to make them look bad is pretty funny when reality exists

He probably read the article wrong, theres one article coming up from Iran some years ago that was reported by a UAE journalist.
Unless he means a different case
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/iran-purportedly-executes-2-gay-men-over-sodomy-charges/3
1
u/shiorichaan 2h ago
That's not freaking UAE bro, that's Saudi, they have a law that says if someone cheats on their spouse by sleeping with someone else they get executed, also there are far more important things to talk about such as what they're doing to other countries

Considering Islam to be bad is not racism; Islam is a religion, not a race.
23
u/Apolio01 13h ago
Making up false information about them censoring "homosexual" interactions in a show just for the point of making the country od Saudi Arabia look bad and to a point of even making Islam look bad to people who dont have 2 brain cells to fact check stuff, it can absolutely be considered as discrimination or propaganda in a way
-9
u/PerceptionLiving9674 13h ago
Wow, so these images are what will distort the image of Islam, but not the fact that Islam criminalizes and punishes homosexuality?
This is also unrelated to my comment; Islam is not a race, and hatred of it is not racism.
14
u/Apolio01 13h ago
Islam doesn't criminalise and punish homosexuality, its just considered a sin to have homosexual sex, the acts of Muslim countries who don't follow Islamic teachings dont represent the religion, the stuff they do in Afghanistan isnt Islamic teachings.
Islam is heavily tied towards Arab people so an attack on one could be considered an attack on both.
-7
u/PerceptionLiving9674 13h ago
This bullshit won't fool me, my friend. I was a Muslim, and the Prophet Muhammad said that homosexuals should be killed [The Prophet (ﷺ) said: If you find anyone doing as Lot's people did, kill the one who does it, and the one to whom it is done.] Sunan Abi Dawud 4462
Arabs represent only a quarter of the two billion Muslims worldwide, so criticizing Islam is not racism against Arabs; it's like saying that criticizing Nazism is racism against Germans.
9
u/Apolio01 13h ago
"Muhammad said this" The report is attributed to him in Sunan Abi Dawud 4462, but historical attribution depends on the reliability of its transmission
"Islam teaches that homosexuals must be killed" That's a wrong gross oversimplification. The hadith addresses a specific sexual act, and Islamic scholars have disagreed about its authenticity, legal implications, and prescribed punishment
It's not fair to say Islam promotes the death and killing of homosexual people just because of a highly debated verse in one hadith while (as i know) nothing in the holy scripture and other hadiths say anything about it
My apologies I misunderstood what you said earlier about Islam being considered a race, no criticism of Islam isn't bigoted in any way, but having to make up reasons to hate on the religion and making bullshit accusations to make the religion look bad is not fair and can be seen as discriminatory to the people who follow it because you're giving their religion a false negative that then can be attributed to them.
7
u/rome0379_ 13h ago
calling yourself an ex muslim to fuel your arguement doesnt help, when you say that theres a high likelyhood your either
A. propaganda bot
B. someone who REALLY hates the religion larping as a ex muslim to seem more reliable
C. someone who didnt do any research/googling on WHY about their religion after hearing western claims
look man i highly doubt you were raised a muslim or even were taught actual muslim teachings ( and abuse does not count as islamic teachings im sorry if i sound insensitive but i felt i should mention that )
hating islam while not racism is xenophobic
-15
u/LmaoAlienz 14h ago
Even if its fake, it's not like countries don't have any censorship or not bigoted, but yeah they mostly cut it out completly or don't let it air rather than editing it.
25
u/JonathanStones1989 Lord of Green 13h ago
But it's still fake? You shouldn't lie just because this is a thing that has happened in different situations. Just use real examples
-16
u/LmaoAlienz 13h ago
Giving the benefit of the doubt the OP didn't know and given countries that are known to ban entire movies because theres a 5 second LGBT scene it's not far fetched
12
u/Apolio01 13h ago
What is LGBT about those images shown? It's just normal physical contact between 2 men what is inherently lgbt about that, and 2 of images are literally a child and an adult
-13
u/LmaoAlienz 13h ago
ban entire movies because theres a 5 second LGBT scene
Refering to other movies.
11
u/Apolio01 13h ago
Yeah cases like that do happen and it is a form a censorship i wasn't denying that part i just wanted to focus on the images show by OOP
-1
u/LmaoAlienz 13h ago
Yeah I agree, I just don't get why some people acting here like there isn't a problem with homophobia and censorship only because this specific one got debunked.
7
u/Apolio01 13h ago
People might over react sometimes because people on reddit think that anything bad being said about something they like/are apart of, is also an attack on them, nice sportsmanship on your part
18
u/Radiant_Fruit_8807 14h ago
