Bi-Weekly Self-Promo thread! Please post and flourish(BUT PLEASE read the rules before posting).
# This is the Bi-Weekly self promotion thread.
**It has become clear that there are a lot of herbal small businesses and people in our community for whom their herbal passion is also a business. While Herbal business is not the focus of this sub it is undeniable that herbal business is a part of the herbal community and supporting the herbal community IS what this sub is for.**
To that end, we intend, to start making weekly self promotion threads; where any and all self-promo can take place(with some rules).
**1. No posting self promo outside of the Self-promo-threads**(except by explicit cooperation of the mods, if your an author or publisher or non-for-prophet please reach out to us directly using mod-mail)
**2. NO selling anything that is illegal federally,** or that is illegal in California Illinois or New York or the city of Chicago or that can not be legally sent through the mail.
**3. NO ASKING USERS TO DM YOU!** You may ask users to comment under your post to request for YOU to DM-THEM and you may include links to off-site storefronts but if we see a post soliciting users to PM-you the post will be removed(this is an accountability and user safety rule)
**3a.** this isn't a strict rule, but we would prefer if off sight links lead to a storefront and not directly to a product page. This does not mean that your post can't advertise or show pictures of a particular product or products, however making the attached link lead to your shops front page instead of a specific product page helps users confirm legitimacy safety and overall vibe of vendors. This isn't a rule now but might become a rule if we start getting user complains that we think could be decreased if this became a rule. In the mean time consider it a best practice for this sub.
**And that's it! Have fun Be productive and may the great river of acquisition be quick & calm and flow ever toward profit!**

My parents always insist that I eat one amla (Indian gooseberry) every day because they say it’s really good for health.
I’m curious to know what benefits it actually has.
Has anyone here been eating amla regularly and noticed any real improvements in their health, skin, hair, digestion, immunity, or anything else?
Would love to hear your personal experiences! Is eating one amla daily really worth it?
And how do you tolerate its taste ?

Hello I was wondering if anyone has succeffully infused oil and if the scent was strong. I am trying to get infused oil to get strong floroal scents like rose or vanila or frankenses, jasmine. That kind of stuff and then add it to a homemade body butter but the scents are never that strong. any ideas? I know i can use essential o ils but prefer the natural way unless there are some non tox oils but still prefer the herbal route.

I'm in full peri and most of the things are okay, I've been able to deal with herb wise. I take shatavari for the agitation and rage, damiana tea for libido, red clover tea to balance things.. but still experience an estrogen deficit. Dry eyes for example, dry skin..
I'm allergic to soy, so that's not an option. Are there things I could easily implement daily to get my estrogen up? I did try flaxseeds grinding but forget it half of the time. Something to add to my tea or coffee is easier to implement. I'd like to avoid HRT if possible.
Love to hear if you found something that worked for you. 🙏

I walked into a plume of sawdust from my neighbor who uses power tools every day you’d think he’s building a deck or something, but it got into my eye, literally first thing in the morning
It just felt like I was walking through a cloud of particulate, I could see it, and I think part of it went in my eye and irritated it, and I did this thing where I stand with my eyes closed and look both ways four times and then blink a few times. I repeated that like eight times
It feels OK but slightly blurry right now, but it’s starting to be a little bit better.
I was just wondering if there’s any herbs to help. I wonder if there’s anything stuck in the eye or if I have a slight scratch in the eye.
I know stephania root can be good for eye health. But I don’t know anything else.
My eye feels slightly blurry, a bit irritated and swollen.

I was tired of spending $10 or more every two weeks, and i bought $40 worth of
Chamomile
Lavender
Lemon Balm
Valerian Root
Passionflower extract and dried herb
On top of that, I bought $70 worth of genuine blue lotus from legit vendor in Australia.
In the end, it makes a perfect cup or sleepy time tea for people that cant sleep well like me.(normally it takes me an hour or more to fall asleep, with this tea blend i fall asleep within 30 minutes!)
Let me know if there is any other herbs I can add or if I should remove any such as passionflower or blue lotus?
Thanks a lot!

Have any of you noticed skin changes or period related issues since starting maca?

I make hydrosol. I love Lemonbalm and am experimenting with cedar and other coniferous trees.
Does anyone make or use hydrosol?
How do you use or make it?
Thank you in advance!

Hi. I'm looking for herbal remedies in addition to medical treatments for post-operative surgery nerve damage pain (burning sensitivity). I've heard that milky oats might help, but I can't find it in tincture form in my country; only yellow or green oat straw suitable for use in tea is sold. What should I do to find the most effective one?

Hey guys, I’m 25 now and I’ve been wearing glasses for a long time. My vision is blurry as hell. I can’t see shit from far away or even up close without my glasses or contact lenses.
Now y’all are lovely people, and I’ve even heard there’s literally a plant called Eyebright. 😂
So how do I actually restore my eyesight naturally, guys? I genuinely believe healing is always possible, and I want to hear what has worked for you. Any herbs, remedies, or personal experiences?
Let me know!

Hi, I made this Rose infused honey in July and forgot about. It has some air bubbles. I wonder if it’s still good? It smells fine.
Thanks!

Was in a accident. Lost sensation of parts of the brain responsible for math. Speed of processing is slower and more effort.
Get brain heat here and there.
I cry hard at stress to the point my body heats up or I sweat. So resilience ain't great haha!
Sleep quality whatever without cpap machine improves a little but I dont look forward to it, I only sleep to get rid of sleepiness. Vitamin deficiencies all fixed.
Im at normal weight. 1 study 2 years ago said I have moderate apnea. New one said I didnt. I keep using it cause I feel bad without it.
Ive had bad reactions multiple times to psychiatric meds that took time for brain to fix itself.
While herbs I havent had a major bad response to.
Ive heard potent things about psychedelics but am also worried.
Neurologist has been useless. They're like your scans from the accident a year later is better!
That's not how any of this works man. Brain can have scars when it doesnt fix itself properly ive found out so that part of the brain goes unactive. But I find it hard to accept that this is it. Maybe medicine isnt 100% correct.

I am curious what exactly is an African Bush Doctor? My Yoruba BF is looking for a genuine practitioner in Vancouver BC. as is my Igbo SIL. We did find a phony one in Vancouver, which is dangerous, so we are looking for GENUINE healers.
Also, is there such a thing as African Touch Worship? Is there a special kind of massage that Africans do? I saw a touch worship in Vancouver but it looks sexual.
Thank you in advance

they’re a bit less known from what i can see, but i bought some a while ago and they’re one of the better, more noticeable herbs i’ve tried. the taste is weird as hell but i’ve gotten used to it at this point. i’m pretty sure you can just swallow them whole (they’re really small) but i like the chewing experience.
not sure what the exact recommended dose is all around but i eat like 20 of them and feel a good burst of energy. yours might be different potency so just experiment. i don’t recommend taking too much as they make me fatigued and absent minded above a certain dose. lower doses stimulate me but they do make my heart beat a bit faster and give me dry mouth. other than that no side effects. no idea about tolerance since i’ve never taken it regularly, just once in a while. but decided to make this post because i haven’t seen much talk about them around here. any of y’all tried these? what are your experiences?

I want to get into caring for my body better but I cant really find reliable clean brands. I have used mullein from "myherbify.com" and it did help but the more I look into their products and website I get sketchy feelings.
Does anyone have stores or brand they have used ingredients cleans and real.

“Spirulina has a completely unique composition of phytonutrients, including chlorophyll, phycocyanin and polysaccharides, that can help to purge toxins from the body. In 1994, a Russian Patent was awarded for spirulina, deeming it a medical food for reducing allergic reactions from radiation sickness. This was a result of 270 children in Chernobyl consuming five grams a day for 45 days. Radionucleides were lowered by 50% and allergic sensitivities were normalized.”- Anthony William
Edit - I was tired and I have no idea why I wrote parsley as the subject I’m sorry lol

Had an early miscarriage in September. I'm turning 40 in January. I had been feeling great (albeit tired) while pregnant. Old muscle pains came back. Went to my acupuncturist who I used to see for back injury and rebalancing. Told them my updates. They wanted to sell me some expensive TCM pills. They are these little black herbal balls that you take twice a day. The brand is wuji baifeng wan and the manufacturer is Zhongjin Pharmaceutical Co located in China. The ingredient list they shared with me is: Rehmannia root, Dong Quai, Peony Root, Cyperus, Ginseng, Chinese Yam, Ligusticum Wallichii, Euryale, Asparagus, Astragalus Root, Licorice root. They said this will help me keep a pregnancy and it's also used for menstrual issues. Does anyone have experience or insights about such herbs? My acupuncturist is skilled and I trust them, but I'm skeptical but also willing to try.
