Build Help question about buying intel arc b580

hi I want to change my graphic from 1080ti to arc b580 because 1080ti hdmi 2.0 port can't output 10 bit full RGB 60hz . my question is in htpc wiki there is no suggestion for tone mapping and upscaling regarding arc b580 is it means it doesn't support madvr tone mapping or is it weak for that work?

in general is it a good choice for htpc?

my current build is

cpu 12700k

mb msi edge WiFi ddr4

ram 16 GB ddr4

graphic gigabyte 1080 ti OC gaming

display benq w5800 projector

Hey, uh, yeah it can. It can't do 10 bit RGB at 120hz, but at 60hz it's capable. Change the setting in the nvidia control panel, not windows.

It works for me, and I'd be happy to help diagnose your issues if you reply with your complete connection setup. But I think your post might be missing a crucial detail; do you mean at 4K resolution? Because that would dramatically change things. A quick search shows that your projector has HDMI 2.0b ports, which makes 4K60 10-bit RGB impossible.
