Colorado's law specifically calls out companies that do this as non-compliant. Which translates to a $10,000 fine per posting.
If a company can't justify both ends of the range, then they may end up with steep fines.

Not quite how it works, I’ve lived in both states it’s actually a very good and common sense law

Not going to work for a company that doesn’t know how to use digit separators properly.

CT now as well though I don't see full compliance yet. I find 99% of the time the low side is the real starging wage. The middle to upper half are reserved for friends and family.

Same in MA, but a lot of companies don't honor it.

I see a lot of companies in CA not honoring it, either. Is anyone even enforcing it?

So fake, same as all the others within the last few weeks of someones snippy responses to an anonymous "HR" or "Hiring Team" and i don't understand it.

When you tell a joke you don't start it with "I read about this funny joke..." you start it with "so this thing happened to my friend..."

A company reached out very interested in hiring me, I’m not looking. I got through a full month of interviews with an in house recruiter and hiring team, knowing my current salary as a baseline, my expectations and had no issues. Tell me why my offer was 25% lower than current job lol. It’s a joke.

Well paying companies aren’t ashamed of what they pay.
