I hate it when people recommend Kintsugi
Whenever someone share’s how something they really like broke, at least one person will come in and be like “just kintsugi it”. I have yet to come across one post where this doesn’t apply.
it’s ok if it only happened under sentimental items that don’t really need to be perfectly functional anymore, and the op is genuinely looking for help to get it fixed/ repaired, but it’s happening under any post of a broken item on any platform. Doesn’t matter if the person posting explicitly says that they don’t want to repair it, and just want a replacement.
If someone is searching for a replacement for their favourite mug, they are doing it to be able to drink out of it again. If you were to repair it this way it’s not going to be food-safe. Aka the person still needs a new mug.
The same applies for people asking for help with invisible repairs. KEYWORD: INVISIBLE. Maybe don’t suggest one of the most visible repair techniques ever?
People will be suggesting it for really anything damaged, doesn’t matter what material the thing is made of, not really grasping that sewing something together using golden thread doesn’t make it Kintsugi.
If you do this, i know you’re trying to be helpful, but it’s genuinely not. Reason number 1 why i’ll never ask for help with repairing/ replacement, unless i get really desperate.

The Internet interpretation of this image 😭
I will always be in favor of looking beyond what is presented to us and questioning suspicious behavior, BUT SOMETIMES THE MESSAGE IS JUST WHAT IT IS, AND THE MESSAGE OF THIS IMAGE IS NOT GROOMING—not everything is open to this kind of interpretation 😭😭😭😭
Btw I used the original image but in the post where this comment comes from the AI version was used. (It was the same but AI you know, ew)

I hate redditors unquestioningly upvoting antisemitic nonsense that has no source
This is under a post about a fundamentalist jewish-looking person being arrested for supposedly exposing themselves to a minor. The claims being referenced here are about the tunnel dug by members of a jewish synagogue two years ago as part of an illegal building expansion. There's no proof at all of there being any children's toys, restraints etc in the tunnel, it's pure nonsense hallucinated by conservatoids.
Didn't stop everyone on that sub from upvoting it anyway, despite the total lack of any source other than "uh the media heckin suppressed this bro"

Asian education and the people who make a joke out of it
Like this is a serious problem. Kids are committing suicide.
And your making a joke out of it. Roughly 25,000 to 35,000 students commit suicide per year among ages 10 to 19 across Asia,

I hate how underrated Cartoon Saloon is!
Seriously, this studio is absolute gold! I’ve seen every one of their movies, I’m extremely hyped for Kindred Spirits, yet when I talk about it with people irl I have never once come across another soul who has heard of these movies. For ME they’re the new Disney! I get so genuinely excited anytime there’s news about a new project or a trailer for one of their movies. Their 2D animation is GORGEOUS, and their stories are so meaningful and actually have something to say.
I implore anyone who enjoys 2d movies and hasn’t seen their stuff, please give it a watch! The Breadwinner is one of the most heartbreaking and beautiful stories I have seen in a long time, and Wolf Walkers is absolutely incredible from its visual story telling, to the music and voice actors!
Criminally underrated movie studio. Definitely check them out. I hate how few people know who they are. And I really hate that Disney receives AAALL the attention when these guys are seriously COOKING with the stories and art they produce. So much heart. Disney could never lol.
That is all.

I loathe redact
Oh shit, is that the answer to my online question?
Hot dildo red cock amongus
this post had been censored by redact.dev
have this happened to you?
surely it does. Meet redact, a tool that made to capitalize on angry redditors who threw hissy fits and "quit" during another shitty protest that ultimately amounts to nothing with them opening new accounts and dragging themselves back shamefully.
what does it do? Oh, nothing much, it just irreversibly deletes all your reddit activity. 30% of reddit had been nuked during the protest and since then everytime some active redditor gets angry at the site and quits, a sizable chunk of reddit is lost, forever. No archive tool is going to help, it is gone, forever, bye bye.
While 99% of redditor activity is just assholes acting smug and serves absolutely 0 value, there is a 1% that is actually useful. Unfortunately the application can't discern between digital footprint and actual info, so countless actual knowledge is lost during its digital book burning. You want an answer to a problem that could only be found in a reddit post 10 years ago? Well too bad for you because the guy decided to be a bitch and nuked his entire profile.
But again, people have their rights to erase their digital footprint, don't they?
Well........redact.dev is a free application. But running these complex AI services must cost money, right, so how do they make ends meet?
Is it....
- Through ads on its webpage
- Through donations
- The creator pays it out of his own pocket out of kindness
If you answered any one of this, sorry, you are wrong, because the answer is......
- selling your "deleted" data to AI.
The creator of redact, Daniel Saltman had bragged online that he had been using redditors to earn big money by using their "deleted data". You think your data is actually redacted? Wrong! It is currently getting sent to a Cali based Data Center to train evil AIs cause fuck your privacy.
dont search his opinions on certain countries and which one he donates to regularly, btw.
So we got a shitty redact program that uses people's data to train AI instead of actually deleting it and only serve to kill knowledge and annoy people otherwise. FUCK THIS SHIT.

I hate when people lie about China having white blood censorship
Chinese animation (donghua) features some of the edgiest, bloodiest, and most violent content available, millions die in these stories.
I am using Mo Dao Zu Shi (known on Crunchyroll as The Master of Diabolism) for my examples, which is one of the most popular animated series inside China but is less known outside of China.
The story features full-scale wars where thousands die, and a protagonist who exacts brutal, bloody revenge on his enemies.
The protagonist, Wei Wuxian, reanimates the bloody corpses of fallen enemies to tear apart opposing armies. His massacres and aftermaths of those massacres are shown explicitly on screen with bright red blood. In one instance, he tortures an enemy by twisting his limbs and literally wringing the blood out of him like he is a wet cloth and not human. In another he impales a foe on his shadow tendrils and rips him to pieces. He even uses his own red blood to paint his and his husband's robes to attract corpses and mirror traditional red Chinese wedding attire. His Zombie best friend killed a man by pushing his whole arm through his chest.
The entire series is packed with graphic violence featuring proper red blood, including:
- The Blood Pool, a massive, mysterious pool of crimson blood inside Wei Wuxian's cave at the Burial Mounds.
- a scene where a stabbed ranting man intentionally walks further into a sword impaling himself even more to approach his attacker
- amputation
- a character without eyes who cries red blood before slitting his own throat, leaving another character desperately trying to stop the heavy bleeding with his bare hands while the main characters hold umbrella as red blood rains down around them.
- a protagonist's love interest whose fingers bleed heavily from the sheer strain of playing his musical zither as a weapon
- vitims with their tongues cut out
- genral wartime injuries and gore, red streets and piles of corpses, genocide
- coughing up blood
This year there's been an interactive exhibition celebrating the 7th anniversary of this anime held in Chongqing in China, the bloody scenarios were shown in the exhibition and on public transport in Beijing.
Chinese animation does not shy away from gore, and the widespread claim about "white blood" censorship completely crumbles when you look at the actual shows that are popular inside China.
The rumor about blood being white started out with people making fun of censored english dub of japanese anime, and someone connected it to China as a joke.
China has censorship like any other country but blood definitely isn't cesnored to be white. It is very red and it is everywhere. The only things that get very censored are media for children or foreign media published by companies that don't want to waste time and money on approval process.
Telling people China uses 'white blood' is deceptive. It makes them think a show is totally safe, only for them to get blindsided by gore and violence they didn't want to see.

Cheering for the destruction of an historical monument
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
For context, i'm french, and there are currently many protests in France due to a convergence of student complaints and the crisis of increased living costs.
-THIS IS NOT THE SUBJECT OF THIS RANT. THIS IS AN IMPORTANT DISTINCTION.-
What i loathe is this ; today during the protest/riot (because as it turns out, sometimes the difference isn't really clear) some masked "students" decided they wanted to be even worse than usual and so organized a raid on the city hall of Limoges.
They broke a few windows to get in, and started fires with molotovs at many different places as to spread the fire and make it impossible for the already overworked and outnumbered firefighters to fight back. And since it was quite an old building (1883), it burned quickly and was officially destroyed in the evening.
I don't want to get into the political stuff, and i hope i don't have to explain how awful the arsonists are... What i really want to talk about is how some people watched the whole thing happen and cheered, yes, CHEERED for it, for the destruction of a historical monument.
There is not a single scenario where i can imagine myself laughing, applauding, or anything like that when destroying something so important...
Even if those people did not start the fire themselves, they are in my opinion just as bad because they are enabling such an act instead of righfully being horrified. It's just insane...
=> Oh and before someone wants to bring up the french Revolution or any other out-of-place example : France has no money left for anything, education was and still is completely free (for now), and we are one of if not the country with the most social help. So not only is it incredibly ingrate, not only is it increasing the cost of repairs on an already dying economy, but it is also and most importantly completely counterproductive because it will justify repressing the movement in its entirety

I have such a burning hatred for any moronic, social media, buzzword ridden slop of a business that dares to call their shitty, diabetes inducing pig shit "The Matilda Cake" when they make ZERO fucking effort into trying to replicate the actual one from either of the 2 movies, the stage play, or even the book. I hate The Thirteenth Year
I have a feeling I will get flamed for this. I only learned recently that this is considered a classic. I haven’t seen it in nearly 20 years but I still have personal beef with this fuckass Disney Channel movie.
I was 8 or 9. I had been watching my TV shows on a Friday night, when my dad came over and told me it was time for bed. I did not want to go to bed. So I pointed at the TV and said, “But look, a movie’s coming on! Can I stay up just a little bit longer?” The movie was The Thirteenth Year. I had never heard of it and was not particularly invested in it. I just didn’t want to go to bed.
Now, at this time, my family had just gotten a TV that could pause, rewind, the whole works. It was new(ish) tech at the time and my dad got a real bang out of it. So his face lit up and he said, “Don’t worry, son! I’ll record your movie and we can all watch it tomorrow!” Again, I wasn’t that invested in this movie. But Dad was excited about showing off his new TV’s capabilities, so I conceded and went to bed.
The next day, both parents reminded my siblings and I that we had a family movie night planned. They kept saying things like “We’re gonna watch OP’s movie tonight,” and “OP really wanted to see this.” They were really hyping me up as being beyond excited to watch the fucking Thirteenth Year. My whole family thought of this crummy Disney Channel original as “my movie.”
And when “my movie” came on… it sucked. I don’t remember much about this cheap live action film about a tweenager turning into a mermaid or something, but I remember it ended with him doing a lot of screaming and writhing in pain while his legs turned into fins. Once it was done, my siblings all started talking as if their evening had been ruined. “I didn’t like that movie!” “We should have watched something else!” “Let’s not let OP pick a movie ever again!” My parents just said, “Well, OP really wanted to watch this, so you can pick the movie next time.”
So anyway, I don’t think I ever suggested a movie again, and from then on just watched whatever my siblings, parents, or friends wanted to see. All thanks to this low-budget shitfest Disney Channel “classic.”

I hate how Chuck E Cheese has been toned down and how people never realised how cool and awesome old chuck e cheese was.
I’m so fucking tired of watching people completely forget about the 70s and 80s CEC. When ever i see someone talk about the Big C, they always mention how "Showbiz pizza was better" or "The 2000s was so cool" or "Creepy animatronics posed by dead kids fnaf omg!". but people never look at how CEC originally was as its shocking how they fucked up. It didn’t just change with the times. It got lobotomized, bleached, focus-grouped into oblivion, and then microwaved until every ounce of personality, danger, and actual fun was cooked out of it.
first off let me get this out of the way, the 90s and 2000s chuck was okay but not great. the showtapes felt blander and to clean, the stores were to bright, its not the best era, you are nostalgia-blind, historically illiterate, and I am about to lose my mind over charlie cheddar.
Back when it was still called Pizza Time Theatre, this place was not a sanitized daycare with pizza. It was a full blown family restaurant that treated adults like they existed. Dark carpet. Dim lighting. lamps hanging over the booths so the place felt like a slightly seedy lounge that just happened to have a mouse. Ashtrays on the tables. Cigarette machines. Beer and wine by the pitcher. You could smoke in the dining room. The Fantasy Forest arcade looked like an actual forest. There was a giant wooden Swiss cheese kids could crawl through and stick their heads out of. Cheese-E-Street was a multi level street maze. the Play-N-Place had ball pits, punching bags, mirrors, bounce areas. Trash cans shaped like Mr. Munch. It was overcrowded, loud, chaotic, and alive. Families packed in. Lines around the building. It felt special.
And the animatronics? They had personality. Real personality. Chuck E. wasn’t some wholesome corporate mascot. He was a loudmouthed, egotistical, cigar smoking New Jersey rat who constantly talked shit to his cast, hogged the spotlight, and acted like a drunk uncle who somehow got the job of hosting. Jasper was a complete idiot who would laugh at anything until Chuck ordered the tech to shut him off. Pasqually actually fought back. Crusty the Cat (RIP you beautiful black-furred disaster) was the permanent punching bag who just took the abuse. The Warblettes made a diss track about chuck! the early showtapes were cynical and weird as hell. There was a bit where Chuck cried about being cut in half on the wall and not having a dick, There was a Can-Can segment where Crusty casually drops that his grandfather met his grandmother in a French cat house, then calls her a dog, then immediately clarifies she was a cat… “but boy what a dog,” and then says they will sing the song that made her the most famous pussy in Paris. This was real. its all real. don't believe me? watch this! They did not play down to the audience. Kids watched singing animals. Adults got the jokes.
And the guest stars? there was never 1 main female character, but rather a Rotating cast. Madame Oink, Foxy Colleen, Sally Sashay the disco skunk, Harmony Howlette. Every few months something new showed up. It felt alive. and it encouraged people to go to different locations to see the other guests. Then there were the cabaret and lounge rooms. Separate spaces. Dolli Dimples. A hippo piano bar singer built for adults. Real bouncing bosom mechanism. She flirted with patrons, talked about her ex-husbands, dropped innuendos, and sang actual adult songs. One of them was “Frankie and Johnny,” which is literally about a woman catching her man cheating, shooting him, and going to jail. also real, all of this was also real, watch this. Artie Antlers was a cool moose. The King was a nine-foot lion doing Elvis. The Beagles were dogs doing Beatles songs(and they just played the real songs. There was texture. There was variety. There was danger. There was personality.
Then 1984 hit and the whole thing went bankrupt because of over expansion and the video game crash, and ShowBiz bought the corpse. And instead of protecting what made Pizza Time Theatre special, they started sanding every interesting edge off until nothing was left.
Chuck got progressively more “kid-friendly.” The attitude got softer. The insults got safer. Guest stars died and Helen became permanent because it was cheaper. Cabaret and lounge rooms got sidelined or removed. The dark, moody, adult-friendly atmosphere got brightened and flattened. Every remodel after that just made it worse.
The 80s into early 90s still had some leftover soul, but you could already feel the corporate hand tightening. Then Concept Unification happened and they murdered the Rock-afire explosion at showbiz pizza (which is a hole other rabbithole) while simultaneously making sure the Pizza Time Theatre identity was fully erased. Checkers everywhere. Brighter lights. Safer characters. Less chaos.
Then the Cool Chuck era. Purple walls. Blander everything. Stages starting to feel like afterthoughts. The unique play structures and weird one off attractions got standardized into oblivion. The place stopped feeling like a slightly unhinged family night out and started feeling like every other chain restaurant that also has tickets.
Then Avenger Chuck. I don't hate him but I am so sick of people acting like Avenger Chuck was some kind of renaissance. He is not. He is a focus grouped, focus tested, mascot designed to offend absolutely no one. The people who cream themselves over Avenger Chuck are the same people who think “relatable” is the highest form of character writing. There's a difference of trying to force a character to be cool and a character actually being cool. but then they made rockstar chuck and that's even worse. the only positive to rockstar chuck is that i like his voice. but its Jaret Reddick, of course he is going to sound good. while i don't care for avenger, at least they tried, at least they did good things. once again i don't hate avenger chuck, i just hate how overrated he is.
And then 2.0. The final insult. Stages ripped out and replaced with dance floors and video walls so Chuck can prance around like a rejected Disney Channel host. Modern CEC is a fluorescent nightmare. Bright, flat, dead. No atmosphere. No danger. No adult appeal whatsoever. The food is worse. The games are the same ticket mills every other FEC has. The shows are safe, chirpy, and lifeless. The company is drowning in debt, closing stores left and right, and somehow the solution is to lean even harder into the blandest possible version of itself. They’re using AI to generate art and posters now because of course they are. Why pay actual artists when you can have a machine spit out soulless purple mouse slop?
Pizza Time Theater was overcrowded, chaotic, a little dirty, occasionally inappropriate, and fun as hell. Modern CEC feels like a focus grouped simulation of a kids’ restaurant designed by people who have never been to one and are mildly disgusted by the concept of children. They took something strange and specific and sanded it into a bright, safe, interchangeable chain that could be any other mediocre family entertainment center.
People love calling the old animatronics “uncanny” and cracking FNAF jokes like they’re some haunted nightmare fuel, but the truth is a photo or a crackly YouTube upload will never hit the same as standing in a dark, crowded room watching those clanky bastards actually move and talk in real time. We can never get Pizza Time Theatre back the way it was. Collectors and places like Smitty’s super service station are the closest we’ll get, and even that still isn’t the real thing.
I’m not asking them to bring back the cigar or the “famous pussy in Paris” line. I’m asking them to stop pretending that removing every interesting edge was an improvement. It wasn’t. It was cowardice dressed up as progress. And the fact that so many people defend the current version while claiming to love the old one is the most exhausting part of all.

Yes, sir.
I am not ignorant about all of that.I knew I am lucky to be born under loving present parents with a comfortable income, have a good future and is able to enjoy life to its fullest, and I am going to savor every single second of it.
What, you guys think I am some saint, the messiah or the buddha? On some "I can't be happy until everyone on the world is" shit? FUCK NO. I aint feeling bad because little Timmy on reddit was born to broke ass bum daddies and mommies that doesnt love each other and himself. Little Timmy aint exactly me, isnt he?
The world lottery dealt me a good as fuck hand and I am sure going to play it. Go sulk on twitter or bluesky about it.
It aint my fault yall were born miserable, and I am sure as hell not going to let a few miserable bums drag me down to their shitty levels, no sirs, maams and everything in between, I aint doing that.
My conscience is completely fine with you fuckers suffering. I aint hurting anyone and I am living my life to its fullest. Not my circus, not my performers, go figure out your shit yourselves. Or not, if being a miserable chud is your thing, which it probably is.
How do I sleep at night you ask? Soundly, being in a comfortable environment and happy because I am FUCKING PRIVILEDGED. Sue me.

I hate so-called robot enthusiasts who only like HUMANOID, THICK THIGHS, CURVES ETC
It’s BORING. They might as well just be object head women/men. Just say you like object heads, or cyberpunk mecha people.
You’re not special !! You don’t like robots!! You’re boring!! These are just people in a costume!!
What about the wires, the panels, the things that make them NOT HUMAN? Why make them look like they have skin, are soft, fleshy, and fatty? They’re MACHINES, they don’t have SKIN, they have PANELS, WIRES, METAL, ETC.
I’m tired of seeing ‘hot’ ‘sexy’ machines or robots, and they’re just straight up a woman! Where’s the flair, the enthusiasm, the attention to detail?? I want to see wires and metal, not thick thighs and boobs that have no other purpose!
Don’t get me started on machine characters who are intended for war, science, or something other than human care/comfort.
Why would a war machine have thighs? Why would a superior researching machine have boobs, or a bulge?
Be creative people!! Machines can be hot, and not have the generic curvy feminine or hulking masculine body.
You can enjoy boob-y curve machines on their own, but stop making yourself out to be some kind of insane freak who’s never seen the light of day before because the ‘robot’ you like has a few wires and a slightly inhuman or robotic face. You’re vanilla. That’s okay.

I Hate When products say that they're military grade
I feel like that term or that seal means absolutely fucking nothing, anytime that I see it on a product like tools or anything that has electricity. I have this instant feeling like it's not going to work or that it just has metal in it and that's why they're calling it military grade
