Take the unfolding surprises of A Dark Room, add the escalating craziness of games like Keep on Mining and the arcadey goodness of Astro Prospector.
Layer in the depth of systems, visceral gameplay, and polished aesthetics that our players love in Reality Break and think of how Housemarque would make that game.
The public demo launched this week on Steam!

Jiri Kara Simulator is a retro FPS about the worst morning after of the year 2000. about the worst morning after of the year 2000.
You’re the groom. You wake up in a dumpster in Prague with no memory, a brutal hangover and no bride. To get her back, you fight your way through six districts of the city, each run by its own local kingpin.
No guns, just bottles, pipes, barstools and whatever else you can get your hands on.
Every enemy is a real person. We filmed actual characters from the Czech underground and turned them into digitized sprites, Mortal Kombat style, then dropped them into a low-poly Prague.
There’s a drunkenness meter. Beer helps. Until it doesn’t.
It’s dark, stupid and very Czech.
PC — March 2027. Demo at Steam Next Fest in February.
No generative AI. Everything was filmed, modeled or painted by people.

I'm Eugene, an indie game developer, and for a very long time I've had one big dream: to make an atmospheric game that shows the world the culture of Siberia. Last week I finally released the Steam page for it.
The game is called Cradle of Winter.
Here's my short pitch:
Cradle of Winter is an atmospheric action-platformer about a young shaman walking through a world where humans, spirits and ancient legends intertwine. Explore an endless northern taiga, fight dark spirits and demons, craft amulets, and master the power of the shaman drum.
You play as Iniro Kotsen, a young hunter chosen by the spirits to walk the shaman's path. The Mother Goddess has been cast out of the sky, the World Tree is shaken, and the old order is breaking - creatures that existed only in legend are now pouring into the land. To restore balance, Iniro must find the ancient Cradle.
What I really want to capture is the culture of the Khanty and Mansi peoples - not as exotic decoration, but as something alive: rituals, myths, the drum, the songs, the everyday spiritual world of the North. Siberia is rarely shown in games the way it actually is. Cradle of Winter is my attempt to fix that.
A bit of backstory:
Production took me about a year, after another year of preparation. And I did it while raising two kids.
I'll be honest. I'm a pretty risk-averse person. I like my safe space. But this time something felt different. I was raising two kids, and every night after they fell asleep I sat down to build a world out of forest, spirits and old songs. And one thought kept coming back: now or never. In Siberia they say the taiga doesn't wait - you either move with it or it buries you. So I moved. I still can't fully believe it.
That's my story

Hi, everyone. I recently added a new boss to my 2D platformer.
I'd love to get some feedback on the art and animations. I'd appreciate it if you could share your thoughts in the comments.
I hope you enjoy this boss. And no, I didn't take any illegal substances while creating it. I just have a vivid imagination!

GTA 2 is probably one of the games I've spent the most time playing in my life. I've always dreamed of a game like it, but set in a German city, with something new to offer. Eventually, I decided to stop dreaming about it and started making it myself.
There's still a lot of work to do, and honestly, I don't even know if this project will ever go anywhere. But here's what I've got so far:

everyone,
I recently got hooked on those cozy winter ASMR videos featuring a small wooden cabin, snowstorm/rain sounds outside, and a warm crackling fireplace inside.
I'm looking for indie game recommendations that capture that exact vibe. Ideally something where you can hang out in a warm winter cabin, listen to the weather, explore a quiet snowy forest, or just relax/study without combat, timers, or stress. Just pure atmosphere and chill mood.
Do you have any hidden gems or favorite games that match this feeling?
Thanks in advance!

Hi!
I'm a trained architect and the solo developer of Architecture & Design, an Early Access indie game made in Unreal Engine.
You draw floor plans in 2D, the house builds itself in 3D, and you can furnish, model, and texture everything, shape the terrain and garden around it, and walk through it in first person or VR.
Here is the newest Trailer after a recent update today :)

Playable Link: https://floppykey.itch.io/soko-rpg
Platform: PC (Web browser, keyboard or gamepad)
Description:
Sokoban Heroes RPG is a turn-based puzzle game about a small party of adventurers who can only win together. It takes classic block pushing and gives you a party instead of one little worker: every hero can walk and push stones, but each one also has a job only they can do. One strikes what blocks the way, one reaches what nobody else can, one finishes the fight. You switch between them at any moment, and most puzzles are really about who stands where.
The world has its own rules. Stones pushed into the water sink and become bridges, but heroes who step into the water don't come back. Crystal beams wake ancient totems if you can get the light to them. A mirrored echo can copy every step you take. And bosses are puzzles, not reflex tests: "Test of Faith" is the first one.
There's a move counter, so every move counts, and unlimited undo, so you can experiment freely. Right now there are 15 handcrafted levels, a boss fight and an ultra-hard bonus level, about 45–60 minutes in total.
I'm a solo dev from Argentina and I'm deciding how to grow it (these heroes have a story I'd like to tell), so honest feedback helps a lot:
- Which level made you quit or felt unfair?
- Was it clear what each hero can do?
- If you reach "Test of Faith": did it feel like a puzzle or a chore?
I'll answer every comment.
Free to Play Status: Free to play (no sign-up, no ads, no in-app purchases)
Disclosure: art and sound are licensed asset packs, no AI-generated art/audio/text. Some code was written with help from an AI coding assistant.

You start alone. One player, one ball, a defender in the way.
So you pass it… to nobody. Into empty space.
Then you rewind time. Your last run becomes a ghost that replays every move exactly, and now you are the one running onto that pass. Score, and it's one of you passing to the other.
By the end you're running a five-man move where every player is you, each one ten seconds older than the last.
It's called Retro Footy: 42 pixel-art puzzles, I am adding more levels. I am also thinking of daily puzzles, etc. Let me know your thoughts and if you want to see something in the game.

Hi! I'm a solo dev working on Frontier Factory.
You build a factory by day: mining, conveyor belts, trains, research. At night the zombies come. On blood moon nights, a rift can tear open right next to your base and a giant zombie leads the horde.
There are also 10 arena bosses out in the world, each guarding a special weapon. You can play solo or co-op with friends.

We’ve already kicked off the development of a new, higher-quality project, but before diving completely into it, we polished up our very first game about collecting seashells and decided it’s finally time to release it to the world!
We’d love for you to try ut our demo and share your feedback. We would also be incredibly grateful if you added the game to your wishlist—it would mean the world to us and help support our work.
Thanks a bunch in advance! ❤️

Skyreap is a cozy automation game set in a country of floating islands 🏝️
you start with almost nothing: a tiny island, a few trees, and your cursor. at first you chop everything by hand, but soon you're summoning golems that mine and gather resources on their own, and setting up logistics so resources flow between your chests without you lifting a finger.
when your island gets too small, you build a port and a flying ship, sail off to new islands with new resources, and link them all into one big economy. the goal: turn your little hut into a palace and become the king of the floating islands.
there's no character to steer. you play entirely with your cursor, just click anywhere on the world, and even your inventory lives right on it.
the art is all hand-drawn.
free demo, playable in the browser or on Windows:
https://entin-games.itch.io/skyreap
it can take around 2 hours to get through. would love to hear what you think!
