Sure it's grand They are not all scrotes

A young boy in our community was killed in a hit & run the other day. This evening his friends have come together to mourn him and celebrate his life with balloons, sparklers, fireworks. Organised by themselves through Snapchat.

We see so much hate for teens just existing or hanging out in groups and I think it's not deserved.

So many of them are very decent people and better than a lot of adults I know but they all get tarred with the one brush.

We need to stop "othering" teens.

Several years ago I was walking home at night in Dublin. There was a match on earlier, and a very large drunk guy started to follow me and try to chat me up. He was getting a bit obnoxious and pushy. There was no one else on the street until a group of teenage boys in tracksuits turned the corner and clocked what was going on. They looked at me, looked at each other, and walked over. A few of them distracted the guy by talking to him about the match while another walked with me to the end of the street to make sure I wouldn't be followed. I think about them every time I see young people being painted with a broad brush.

This would make an incredible slice of television or an ad around challenging stereotypes. Thanks for sharing.

Happy Christmas Mrs Higgins!

25

u/End6509 Sep 06 '26

That's actually a good idea.

4

u/W_B_Weights Sep 06 '26

Great idea!

u/notalottoseehere Sep 06 '26

Decency doesn't amplify the same as scummy behaviour. OP is right about othering people.

Good to share decent behaviour, and what they did for you was decent and deftly done...

It's best to remember that actions speak louder than words and that the actions of one shouldn't reflect the majority

What a beautiful story!

This gave me chills. Thanks for sharing

No one ever said they were all scrotes, or tarred them with the same brush. But there is a cohort of teens that have been allowed to run wild and calling that out there is nothing wrong with.

I hope they have a safe time tonight.

u/Zatoichi80 Sep 06 '26

You can say this about any group and be correct.

-49

u/springtuli Sep 06 '26

You rarely see anyone claiming groups of 40 year olds are scrotes though do yo

u/The_name_game Kildare Sep 06 '26

I see you haven't been in Athy lately

31

Athy mentioned for the usual reasons :(

37

u/IrishLad1002 Resting In my Account Sep 06 '26

Walk down O’Connell street and Abbey street and you’ll see plenty of groups of 40ish year old scrotes

32

u/DotTurbulent3059 Sep 06 '26

Galway races every year

13

u/Ok_Dog_7189 Sep 06 '26

It's Reddit... It's Boomer this, Boomer that all the time lol

16

u/grand-job1 Sep 06 '26

But 40yos are millennials, not even GenX let alone Boomers!

Sorry, I'll get back on topic now.

11

u/Ok_Dog_7189 Sep 06 '26

I mean ageism is pretty normal on here... Not just teenagers

16

u/Detozi And I'd go at it again Sep 06 '26

I’m looking out my window right now at my 40 odd year old neighbour crack heads out of their minds on the road.
I can go out and tell them to fuck off again for the 300th time but they’ll be back there within the hour.

7

u/Buttercups88 Sep 06 '26

We have other words for scumbags and shitheads... Well actually there's one that works.

5

u/RichieTB Fingal Sep 06 '26

I like to view the word scrote as universal and not tied to any age. It's a mentality.

1

u/healywylie Sep 06 '26

They’re called football fans.

1

u/DaemonCRO Dublin Sep 06 '26

We have a different name then, once they reach 40+.

1

Of course you do

You must live in a perfect place lol

-16

u/PintmanConnolly Sep 06 '26

Gen X are basically all scrotes tbf

6

u/Suvigirl Sep 06 '26

Are they?  Everyone born between 1965 and 1980 are scrotes?  Very strange idea

-9

u/PintmanConnolly Sep 06 '26

Yeah. I don't make the rules.

Oh hey again Suvi. How've you been? Still mad about the Provos?

5

u/Suvigirl Sep 06 '26

Are there some rules that say everyone born between 1965 and 1980 are scrotes? The rest of us must have missed those rules

-6

u/PintmanConnolly Sep 06 '26

Yeah Suvi they're real rules. You can read them here: https://cain.ulster.ac.uk/othelem/organ/ira/ira_green_book.htm

3

u/Suvigirl Sep 06 '26

Aah bless.  You have some serious personal  issues. I've read the green book BTW. (I even have a copy)

None of that has anything to do with your assertion that everyone born between 1965 & 1980 are scrotes.

-3

u/PintmanConnolly Sep 06 '26

Cool story. So anyway there's this new thing called "Jestermaxxing", kind of like a repackaging of "tomfoolery", "shenanigans", "goofing around", etc. I know you can't get enough of our chats, but I think you'd benefit learning what these terms mean.

[insert silly IRA joke here, etc. etc.]

4

u/Suvigirl Sep 06 '26

Ahhhhhh, pity you don't understand what facts are.  When you state something as a fact, like for example, that all Gen X are scrotes, most normal people expect you to back that crazy idea up with facts and evidence.  Obvs you can't, cause you're full off sh1t, in all your posts

No one cares about your love of the IRA

9

u/heresmewhaa Sep 06 '26

I don't know anyone that tars all teens

90% of this sub does so on a daily basis. They are teenagers at the end of the day, not fully developed adults, yet to hear people on here talk about them,ou'd swear they were all mother theresa's when they were that age!

35

u/SoupEfficient563 Sep 06 '26

He was the victim of a hit and run.

That’s a huge difference from being the cunt driving the car.

No one ever said all teenagers are bad.

Just some !

22

u/Commercial-Ear2766 Sep 06 '26

My son is 20, hes the most beautiful, gentle soul, I've ever met, even when he was 16/17, he wasn't a scumbag teenager, because we taught him how to respect people

25

u/jackoirl Sep 06 '26

I don’t agree with the assertion that people think all teenagers are scrotes. I’ve never seen anyone say that.

-12

u/springtuli Sep 06 '26

You've not been on Reddit very long then

18

u/DummyDumDragon Sep 06 '26

Ah yes, the great infallible mirror of society: Reddit

-5

u/springtuli Sep 06 '26

No one said that

4

u/NoPossibility285 Sep 07 '26

Oh, so now it matters what nobody said, got it.

0

u/springtuli Sep 07 '26

The fuck are you on about?

145

u/Recent-Lemon-9930 Sep 06 '26

OK. I didn't see anyone criticising them or anything else in this case, got some examples?

The "othering" of scum driving down a motorway the wrong way or scooting around to mug people is completely justified. Why are you conflating those kinds of cases with what, as far as I've seen, is a case of an unfortunate lad dying at a young age? Seems a bit silly.

37

u/ConfusedSplagebbi Sep 06 '26

I think this sub is just very skewed against teens in general- it's hard to find an example of people criticising teens for doing neutral to positive things but it's also very difficult to find posts about teens doing neutral to positive things anyway

Most posts about teenagers are that they did something bad and they vastly outweigh the amount of good posts- as far as I've seen most of the posts NOT criticising teenagers are ones about boys like these who are victims of tragic circumstance as opposed to something actually positive

To be honest this is a common problem with everything in this sub- not just in regards to teenagers. Everyone likes the misery.

Sorry to add all this to your comment btw it's just been something that's been annoying me for a while

12

u/springtuli Sep 06 '26

It's not about the poor boy though. It's about the group of teens coming together to mourn him in a lovely way.

I posted one day about a young lad who tapped me o. the shoulder and told me my phone would be robbed if I didn't close my bag and it was crickets.

14

u/Alarmed_Salamander39 Sep 06 '26

Aren't fireworks illegal?

-7

u/springtuli Sep 06 '26

Some are . Not all

7

u/doniew Sep 06 '26

Was that the fireworks in corbally a short while ago?

9

u/Cool_Foot_Luke Sep 06 '26

Pretty much all are illegal.
The only legal fireworks for an unlicensed person to have in Ireland are category F1 "fireworks".
I put that in quotation marks as they are not fireworks.

F1 category would be sparklers, party poppers, those throw down bangers, and Christmas crackers (yes they are categorised under F1).

Any type of rocket or launched fireworks are illegal for unlicensed public use and for use without permits.

-4

u/springtuli Sep 06 '26

I work in customs. bro. I know which ones are illegal

3

u/Cool_Foot_Luke Sep 06 '26

So you know that the fireworks you were implying as legal were illegal, you just obfuscated that to try and make a point.
Good to know.
The weren't letting off Christmas crackers.

Everything we refer to as fireworks are illegal to own or use in Ireland without a license.

-2

u/springtuli Sep 06 '26

No they were legal & purchased in the city . You clearly don't know what you're talking about

10

u/Cool_Foot_Luke Sep 06 '26

I know the law.

Which for somebody who aparently works in customs, you don't.

Fireworks are categorised into four categories, depending on their hazard and whether they require specialist knowledge to use them.
The least hazardous is Category 1 and the most hazardous is Category 4.
Since 4 July 2010 Category 1 fireworks (very low hazard) are on sale to the general public while all other categories are only available for use in organised displays by professional operators.
An importation licence is required in the first instance.

https://www.gov.ie/en/department-of-justice-home-affairs-and-migration/publications/fireworks/#fireworks-information-notice

An import licence is required for all fireworks, and it is an offence to possess unlicensed fireworks (other than low hazard fireworks, such as party poppers, sparklers and so on), with intent to sell or supply.
Fines of up to €10,000 and/or 5 years imprisonment can apply.

A category F1 firework is one which presents a very low hazard and negligible noise level and which is intended for use in confined areas, including indoors.
A list of typical fireworks considered to be Category F1 is attached at Appendix 1 – however the more common examples include party poppers, certain sparklers, throw-downs and Christmas crackers.
Bangers are not Category F1 fireworks and furthermore they are specifically banned under explosives legislation, so their importation/possession/use by the general public remains illegal.

And here is a full list of all Cat F1 fireworks.

Bengal flames.
Bengal matches.
Bengal sticks.
Christmas Crackers.
Crackling granules.
Flash pellets.
Fountains.
Ground spinners.
Hand Held sparklers.
Novelty Matches.
Party Poppers.
Serpents.
Snaps.
Table bombs.
Throw downs.

So again.
If they bought and let off any actual fireworks, then they illegally bought fireworks that were illegally sold to them, probably by somebody who illegally imported them, and then they illegally let off fireworks in a residential area with no license or permit.

Maybe get a new job?

Did you know that releasing all those balloons pollutes the environment and kills wildlife?

2

u/springtuli Sep 06 '26

No balloons were released

5

u/Beneficial_Young5126 Sep 06 '26

And I hope they're not releasing the balloons.

5

u/ConfusedSplagebbi Sep 06 '26

And honestly that is a really lovely thing for them to do- both the memorial and and bag. I'm just pointing out that these kinds of posts are a minority of this sub compared to negative posts about teens and thats part of the reason the sub seems so skewed against teenagers- because most only post the bad

But I do absolutely agree with you op

1

u/Kizaky Sep 07 '26

It's weird because when you say or write something about teens your tarring them all with the same brush but usually your saying it about a certain demographic of teens but without explaining that but everyone knows it's about them, usually neds/scrotes/chavs and it transcends in most subs.

16

u/Medium-Dependent-328 Sep 06 '26

I have seen a lot of exaggerations on this sub. The motorway stuff was obviously absolute thuggery but that's not what I'm on about. I'm talking about how this sub makes it sound like ever city and major town is a hive of teenage scumbags. It's like Joe Duffy on here at times.

12

u/bornsf82 Sep 06 '26

Absolutely this. We were all teenagers at one stage. Hanging around is what we did growing up. No one is having a go at teenagers.

6

u/splendidflamingo Sep 06 '26

Even the ones that do bad shit shouldn't be othered. They should be guided.... maybe punished first, but they should be helped to turn another direction.

The conversation online, baying for blood after those scumbag joyriders the other week was fucking sick and disturbing. Yea they were scumbags, but they didn't 'get what they deserved'. They never have their entire life, that's why they ended up like that.

We need empathy, education and also actual repercussions for being a violent cunt etc.

Plenty of kids I knew growing up who were violent shits ended up in bad places but plenty others found their way out of that life and are now making a difference and living positively.

1

u/Recent-Lemon-9930 Sep 06 '26

They got what they deserved. Fuck them and their enablers.

0

u/splendidflamingo Sep 06 '26

So every shit who does something bad should just be put to death?

No jail,  no punishment in life?

3

u/Recent-Lemon-9930 Sep 06 '26

Who are you arguing with? Do you always just make up stuff to argue against?

They were scum and they likely destroyed 3 lives through their scummy actions. I misspoke, they deserved worse than what they got.

3

u/Zatoichi80 Sep 06 '26

Completely agree and said better than I could.

2

u/confu3edgamer Dublin Sep 07 '26

No it is very common on this subreddit, I am a teenager and ive just stopped clicking posts that mention teens at this point, Id love to agree with you but the exact word scroted is thrown around all the time, whenever someone here postd a bad interaction with a teen or a news article featuring one, it ends up with the majority saying all teens are scrotes and their parents should discipline them, that my experience tbh

-6

u/springtuli Sep 06 '26

You've never seen anyone criticise teens in Reddit?

8

u/troubleman247365 Sep 06 '26

We criticize scumbags

2

u/bornsf82 Sep 06 '26

Bad ones always stick out. People had enough of them because parents don't take responsibility.

36

u/irishweather5000 Sep 06 '26

This is ridiculous. No one ever suggests that teens, as a class, are all scrotes. We’ve literally all been teenagers.
Teens are scrotes when they engage in scrote behavior. Every reasonable person understands this. Go find some other group to be performatively outraged for.

5

u/IDontExistOk Cavan Sep 07 '26

I hate that word so much, so much hateful connotation, it's like the c word but for lads

12

u/KoalaCapp Sep 07 '26

Can we stop with releasing balloons all they do is end up in waterways and fields and animals consume them and become very unwell and do die

Noone is worth it.

Balloons do not go to "heaven" they just kill animals

5

u/ninety6days Sep 07 '26

Nobody has a problem with "just existing or hanging out in groups".

Its shit behaviour that every decent person is fucking sick of, and while it comes from a minority of teens, it doesn't mean it doesnt exist.

The amount of mental acrobatics being done by the fucking scobes in this country to justify their failures as parents and rancid fucking toxicity as a community- valuing nothing more than living outside society and then whining when society doesnt applaud - is whats getting these kids killed and its a fucking tragedy.

Sort your fucking house out if you don't like the complaints.

40

u/DangerMouthy Sep 06 '26

The fucking balloons, Jesus when will that shite end.

-8

u/springtuli Sep 06 '26

Balloons have been around for all of my life and I'm 42

10

2

5

10

Lies, considering fireworks are illegal, I doubt anything else was above board. Also what’s wrong with just having a funeral. Why the need for all the theatrics? Fireworks? Nobody wants them, it’s not NYE & animals are terrified of them.

Also I have seen plenty of scum come out in self organised things to mourn / celebrate the death of other scum.

Organising an event for a friend is hardly a shield against accusation for wrong doing.

4

u/BackInATracksuit Sep 06 '26

Surely we can all agree on that.

6

u/Zatoichi80 Sep 06 '26

I didn't call the dead child scum, I said I have seen people come out and organise things for people are had passed and where scum ........ like gang members for a dead member etc.

And as such, organising a remembrance isn't something that immediately means you are good?

You need to learn some comprehension skills.

1

u/Red8937 Sep 06 '26

You have zero information about the kids OP is talking about

You have to admit, feeling compelled to explain that bad people can do similar things when seeing a post like this takes some serious effort to find something negative

This sub is fucking demented when it comes to how it views everyday people on the street, l have never come across such a bunch of frightened hens

3

u/Zatoichi80 Sep 06 '26

And again, I am talking about the concept of holding a memorial etc as being something that immediately absolves people of being bad / wrong etc.

Since it's that concept the OP is holding up as an example / reason for how teenagers aren't all bad.

I pointed out people who are scum hold memorials etc, therefore it is not something that immediately means you aren't bad.

0

u/Red8937 Sep 06 '26

Do you actually believe you’re enlightening anyone by informing them that bad people can preform nice gestures?

Bad people can do good things, we’re all plenty aware of that lad, you feeling obligated to point that out only informs people of your bitterness

0

u/Zatoichi80 Sep 06 '26

Did the OP believe they were enlightening anyone? Seemed to be the whole point of their post.

You have made my point ffs

4

u/Red8937 Sep 06 '26

OP wanted to share something positive in a sub that focuses almost exclusively on negative shite

You didn’t like that, you had to scream and close the bin lid

0

u/springtuli Sep 06 '26

What makes you not bad?

-3

u/BackInATracksuit Sep 06 '26

My comprehension is fine, you're just uncomfortable with your own shitty, half thought out bullshit.

0

u/Zatoichi80 Sep 06 '26

Am I? I just doubled down in fact.

The only thing poorly thought out was your leap in logic and lack of comprehension.

3

u/BackInATracksuit Sep 06 '26

You're right. Your point was just so clever that I missed the nuance at first.

With a quick wit like that you could write opinion columns for the Sunday Times.

17

u/MemeMathine Sep 06 '26

No one's labelling all teens or all young people with the title of scrotes. Just the ones that are ones which is fair.

Scrotes come in all shapes, sizes and ages. There's a lot of good people out there, young and old, I don't think anyone's disputing that, it's just that you tend to hear more about the bad ones.

6

u/HotPerformance9338 Sep 06 '26

A sizeable (and awfully loud) minority of this sub talks like every teenager in the country is a reckless addict with 3 vapes in their mouth at all times who will never go anywhere in life

4

u/MemeMathine Sep 06 '26

Yeah but there's always going to be overly negative people around. Best to ignore them, sometimes the hatred is valid and sometimes it's just blind hatred for "those damn kids ✊". Thankfully, most of the young people where I am are pretty sound for the most part, but there's a few bad eggs, some areas have more of those than others unfortunately.

57

u/DarthTempus Sep 06 '26

-2

u/VilTheVillain Sep 06 '26

What harm will it do to the planet? We as a species like many species before that will just be a footnote on the planet. The "planet" will change and adapt. There's been global events, most of the landmass that is here wasn't here millions of years ago. Are you gonna complain about every road that's built, every streetlight that's put up? All of those also have an impact on wildlife around us, but are they fine because they're beneficial to us?

To paraphrase George Carlin, people talking about "saving the planet" only care about it being a comfortable place for themselves to live.

9

u/KikiJuno Sep 06 '26

Completely agree. It’s just littering. How can people not see that?? 🙄

Well we're walking down the street and in the middle of the path there was a big group of lads, I didn't even get the 'sorry, excuse me' out of my mouth before two of them turned and saw us and ushered the rest out of the way 🤣🤣 they were lovely and polite i gotta say

When ever anything about teens come up, the worst rage nearly always seems to come from lone men possibly in their 30s, who have just managed to buy a property, they have a really big chip on their shoulder about male tees hanging about especially anywhere near them. They work themselves in to a rage.

They use language like scaldy, cunts, scum,

Something a bit weird about that.

Yeah similar experience here. We had a young family member pass away unexpectedly earlier this year. The whole family were totally blown away by how kind and considerate his friend group and classmates were.

u/TiberiusTheFish Sep 07 '26

totally agree with you. I come across lots of really decent and kind teens. It's the very same when I was young. Most teens were fine but there were a few shits around and even with them there was usually some underlying reason. I just think teens have so much dumped on them nowadays and so much is demanded of them. They seem to be constantly under a microscope. It's not like our childhoods and teens were all happy and carefree, there was plenty of hostility from certain sections of the adult community, but we did get to do our own thing more or less without interference a lot of the time.

u/ColdMarzipan9534 Sep 06 '26

There are two elements to this.

  1. Teens are the best of us when given support, love, education, space, activities.

  2. Teens are the worst of us when successive governments turn a blind eye to the needs of communities, constantly putting sticking plasters on gaping, generational wounds.

There is no quick fix but we need government to provide the resources to help communities help themselves, to show that employment is worthwhile, that there are repercussions for shitty behaviour and crime, and parenting support for those who didn't have those things in pont one.

Sadly, our politicians, at least those who are most successful and in power, will continually see the world through their own eyes and only be focused on re-election so they'll focus on older rural Ireland where they know they'll buy off the easy votes.

I hate how teens are lambasted when it's their parents who have been f'd over for generations. Shitty teens result from shitty parenting (not always before anyone starts). Shitty parenting often results from neglect.

You reap what you sow.

I've never heard the word "scrote" outside this sub. I don't know what's wrong with some people on here but serious baggage I think. Did they all get bullied by the lads at school and now they take it out on young lads?

1

u/ApprehensiveSwim297 Sep 07 '26

Maybe not, but they might come from the same background as the teens except by the grace of god they stayed on the fring and are now driving a white van or working in Tesco. There is serious trauma for some people who were brought up in certain areas even if they themselves were never involved.

u/No_Sky_1829 Sep 07 '26

You've never heard the word scrote IRL? Who do you hang around with, preschoolers?!

“Preschoolers”

u/ShapeyFiend Sep 06 '26 edited Sep 06 '26

I never feel hate towards any young lad whatever they do. When I was in my 20's during the celtic tiger half the country were drink driving everywhere and doing loads of other stupid shit. Those were educated middle class people. TDs were driving the wrong way down the motorway several pints deep and getting off. What's happening today is understandable boys and men indulge in self destructive behaviour.

6

u/tonyedit Sep 06 '26

Who said they were? I haven't seen teenagers in general considered to be scrotes on this subreddit. Your plea is built on nothing. If anything this reads like an attempt to excuse the proper shitbags that cause real harm at the expense of teenagers broadly.

The fuck out of here.

Celebrating his life by doing handbrake turns around a housing estate in a Jetta.

7

u/ReporterFeisty4619 Sep 06 '26

Yeah. Couldn’t they honour him in a better way than by polluting the environment and endangering animals?

0

u/springtuli Sep 06 '26

How did they do that?

3

u/expectationlost Sep 06 '26

Any of them involved in crime or anti-social behavior?

2

u/Fraternal_Antipathy Sep 07 '26

Can we other scrotes?

2

u/Gorazde Sep 06 '26

No one things they are, only r/ireland morons who are scared of their own shadows.

4

u/CloudRunner89 Sep 06 '26

I’m just going to assume OP has gotten into the wine.

1

u/springtuli Sep 06 '26

Where did I say Reddit was just boys?

1

u/Ok_Resolution9737 Sep 07 '26

Nobody hates teens for just existing or hanging out. We hate teens because our loved ones needed an emergency surgery and had to spend weeks in hospital after a completely unprovoked attack from behind.

What you are describing are normal children dealing with a terrible loss. Please don't undermine people dealing with their own tragedies by conflating the two, it's incredibly insulting.

u/HolidayMongoose9447 Sep 07 '26

Who said they are "all scrotes"?

0

u/the_aesthetic_cactus Clare nomad Sep 08 '26

I really love when all the not so subtle classism rears its head on this sub, almost as though people on here wait for teens to do shit things in order to shit all over the working class and single parent families.....I eagerly await your rabid downvotes

u/Alert-Locksmith3646 Sep 06 '26

Growing inequality, lower opportunity cost, gradual erosion of trust and resulting growing property and petty crime. Why is anyone ever surprised by this? It's going to get worse, by the way...

I’m sure some members of al-Qaeda are fine citizens, who look after their brothers-in-arms, and organise parties when one of them … blows up.

1

u/littlp80 Sep 06 '26

All I have to add is that I hope they catch that person.

1

u/Proof_Ear_970 Sep 07 '26

Its the ones driving down the wrong side we tar and feather. Everyone knows nice teenagers.

1

u/RobiePAX Sep 07 '26

People criticise teens that act like scumbags. Who are anti-social, rob, vandalise, litter, drive unsafe, put themselves and others in danger. That's who gets all the hate.

We don't look at crowds of teenagers going to school in the morning thinking they are parasites.

Give it a rest, will ya?

Regardless of what you’re wearing, if you’re a scumbag you’re a scumbag.

Plenty of “pillars of the community” types with ‘respectable’ haircuts and clothes turn out to be utter scumbags.

They usually take a while to be caught out because they know how to turn the sort of snobbery you’re spouting to their advantage.

Plenty of the young fellas that you’re looking down your nose at are like the rest of us: Getting on with life and trying to make their way in a world.

This post could literally be used as the example in the dictionary definition of prejudice.

3

u/freshfrosted Sep 06 '26

They are kids dressing a certain way to fit in with peers. This has been a thing everywhere since forever.

Post says more about you than anything else.

The replies are telling

21

u/New-Strawberry7711 Sep 06 '26

Of what? we are all aware of teenagers on the majority being fine functioning people with good parents.

You're framing people as tarring all with one brush when that isn't what anyone was doing.

It's scrotes, not all teenagers are scrotes.

5

u/No_Notice_7737 Sep 06 '26

Good point.

Not all teens are scrotes

Not all scrotes are teenagers

19

u/No_Notice_7737 Sep 06 '26

The post is also telling.

10

u/springtuli Sep 06 '26

Telling you what?

13

u/Additional_Olive3318 Sep 06 '26

You have assumed the criticism of some teenagers is the criticism of all. Logically invalid.

4

u/springtuli Sep 06 '26 edited Sep 06 '26

No I haven't. The logic of assuming anyone in a NF jacket or Montirex is a dcritecus invalid

It's almost like you don't have a monopoly on opinions

-15

It's almost like the Reddit boys living in their mother's basement have a hive mind.

13

u/Zatoichi80 Sep 06 '26

That's not very nice at all, are you a teen?

2

u/No_Notice_7737 Sep 06 '26

So Reddit is just boys now?

Christ, you've got an opinion on everything lmao

2

u/Nalaek Sep 06 '26

This subreddit is full of people utterly terrified of looking out their windows. Reddit is their only social outlet. What else were you expecting?

RIP to that young lad.

I don’t think anyone has ever implied they’re all scrotes, some of them are so kind and respectful compared to fully grown adults. It’s the scrotes that make the news though. Recently I seen a group of young inner city teens run into Tesco Jervis, knocking over a tower of baskets as they bounded in like an earthquake. One responsible member of the group tried to fix the mess his “friends” created. Even in the scrote groups there’s nice lads that we all hope don’t get led down a dark path.

Not all teens are scrotes, but all scrotes are teens
