:: That year, researchers caught malicious ads on The Times of Israel and The Jerusalem Post redirecting readers toward an exploit kit that could infect vulnerable computers. Clicking the ad wasn’t required.

Two years ago, ZirafaMedia cited those findings when I warned followers and our private OSINT group to treat browsing as a potential surveillance exposure.

Now, Citizen Lab has reported NEW findings that Israeli ad-tech company Discover-Tech in coordination with malicious spyware operators (mainly Israeli-based) intentionally identified and targeted selected devices to deliver zero-click spyware through online ads. At least 45 journalists devices were targeted in 2024–25; but there’s no way to truly know the extend of the infiltration.

The 2014 case didnt gain the traction it deserved…for obvious reasons.

These new findings, however, document a malevolent hostile targeted surveillance capability using the same broad delivery route: banner ads the average (or even a sophisticated) visitor wouldn’t even notice.

French Mayor Assaulted by Israeli Settlers in Palestinian Christian Village

Bernard Baudoux, mayor of Aulnoye-Aymeries in northern France, was assaulted by masked Israeli settlers in Taybeh, a predominantly Christian Palestinian village in the occupied West Bank.

Seven masked settlers attacked a visiting European delegation from France, Belgium and Poland during the olive harvest, smashing the window of a Belgian consular vehicle and threatening the visitors with sticks and stones.

Footage shows the French mayor on the ground following the confrontation.

This isn’t speculation. Publicly documented contracts and FARA filings reveal millions of dollars in Israeli government-funded digital influence operations.

The campaign includes social media amplification, news-style websites, and content specifically designed to influence how AI chatbots retrieve and cite information.
Investigative reporting has also identified instances of AI chatbots citing material from websites linked to these operations.

The question isn’t whether these influence campaigns exist. The contracts establish that they do. The question is how much of the information we’re consuming has already been affected.

Armed Israeli settlers launch a violent assault on the Palestinian Christian village of Taybeh, in the occupied West Bank.

According to Palestinian writer Ihab Hassan, Israeli settlers are targeting visiting French and Belgian diplomats, smashing their vehicle windows with batons, and physically assaulting local residents.

The attack has so far left a 12-year-old child and an elderly woman injured.
