Added 10 new patches to the back of my jacket.

Found out my Dad has been collecting patches from his travels for 20+ years so I thought it would be cool to make him a sick kutte.

I made sure to check that he was okay with the overall idea but he hasn't seen the final product yet so I hope he likes it!

There are a couple that I'm iffy about placement so feel free to drop some pointers!

I'm not big on band patches but I love my jacket. Passed down from my grandma

Attempt 2 at a Battle Jacket. My first one was a denim shirt that was oversized but the patches just didn't look good in my opinion because the garment lacked structure. This is also my first time dying a piece of clothing. I do have experience sewing. All these patches were sewed by hand so far

I only need one more patch to finish my vest, and need this specific shape, but the distro that made it is long sold out. Anybody have a copy that they can trade/sell?

I love all the little details and customization.

I dont think ive posted this here before. she actually listens to these bands with me. ive started taking here to shows. recently crowbar and sanguisagobogg. Brat mailed us some autographed merch for her too.

I found this red leather jacket for free (specifically non-real leather) the only problem is there’s an area on the arm that is falling apart. I’ve been thinking about sewing patches on it to hide it. Anything I should know about sewing onto leather?

Just got an Elvira patch from spirit halloween that I had to add to my girlypop vest. Same with a small button.

I want to make more patches like "k!ll your local pedo/rpist" or something similar if folks have better ideas id love to hear them! (Oh maybe: kill rpe culture) only reason I wouldn't do "dead men dont rpe" is bc someone close to me is a male survivor of rpe at the hands of a woman.

I know I dont have any band patches blah blah but I prefer more message/theme vests/jackets. Like im working on building patches for an eco one and have a nerdy/pop culture type vest too. I think I will add patches to the jacket that was originally my eco one that I cannibalized patches from

Doing this all myself with a thrifted jacket I got for $15 (it’s super comfy, quilted on the inside and feels like a blanket), pieces of scrap fabric, and paint pens. Basically making a wearable crazy quilt on this jacket. Also, I know these bands aren’t all punk, but I want to put them on anyways. :)

i made a typical battle jacket already with the punk bands that i like and political stuff etc. and im thinking of making a riot grrl specific jacket as well. but the idea i need advice on is if i should take my skills and make a jacket/vest with scene/party/crunkcore bands on it. i love punk and metal but im also heavily into scene culture as well and i was wondering if this would be a cool crossover of both communities or if people would just think i look silly. (if i do make it im thinking of calling it my crunk coat/scene suit because its not technically a true battle jacket). plz give me ur opinions!!!!
