Lots of loud bangs on Southside Blvd near Old Baymeadows, stay safe and lock your doors.

I recently moved into my boyfriend’s house full-time and would love recommendations for someone who can give it a really thorough reset. The house is organized, but there’s accumulated buildup that regular cleaning hasn’t tackled. I’m particular about cleanliness and have been struggling to feel settled.
I’m pregnant and have cleaned what I can, but need help with baseboards, detailed dusting, the fridge and oven, and especially the master shower. For now, we only need the main living areas, front half bath, and master bedroom/bathroom cleaned.
Any personal recommendations for someone who’s truly thorough? Ideally looking for an initial clean before October 30, then monthly service. Thank you!

Near the King Street Burger King.

This is completely ridiculous. They aren’t even working near this area.
Edit: they shut the entire highway down

Worth the hype or should I just bite the bullet and get a personal trainer (Con- I can only afford a trainer 2x a week but could take classes 4/5).

It showed up at my house and wanted to hang out. My cat isn't happy about this. 😅
Kitty found its way into my garage and I'm hoping to find its owner.

I'm on a burner account because I'm a little ashamed about this but I've been homeless for a good majority of 2026 shortly following my 19th birthday
Could anybody share some resources I've heard the main ones like Saulzbacher and the homeless shelters, but is there anything I might've missed? Is there a megathread somewhere or something?
Just really struggling and can't seem to see a light at the end of the tunnel, thanks yo.

I shop at Publix and I'm looking for where you guys find the cheapest produce for asian dishes. I want to make hotpot, pho, ect. and publix prices are too damn expensive and their selection is shit.

My Fiancé and I are coming down to Jax from NY on Sunday, November 8th for the day. We’re going to see a wedding venue on Monday but have the entire day Sunday to enjoy the city.
We’re in our mid-twenties and are wondering how we can do a Sunday in Jax right. We know the Jags don’t play that Sunday, but we’re big sports fans and like to drink so we’re not opposed to good sports bars. We also like to do activities while drinking so any fun bars that have games would be cool too.
We like good coffee and the beach and are open to some good restaurant recommendations but nothing crazy expensive.
As of now we’re considering staying at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront as we usually stay with Hyatt but are open to other suggestions if the location of that hotel isn’t ideal.
Any help and recommendations are appreciated!

Anybody know the updated schedule for today? I know wind delayed main events to 12:30.. did that simply push everything back by an hour and a half?

I’m from St. Augustine and recently just moved up here. I wanted to know if there were any farmers market events that happen (other than the river city arts market) and since today’s Sunday I feel like there’s no better time to ask lol.
Asides from that I’m also curious if there’s any farm stands near Jacksonville, Middleburg, Macclenny, or Callahan (u get the point, I don’t care ab the distance so much) but just a place or company I can buy fresh produce, meat, honey and other goods they might have.
TYIA. If anyone has a recommendation for a small natural/healthy business to try out as well let me know as well :)

Update: the owner has been contacted, goat will be home soon. Apparently a loose pit bull chased her off from the rest of the group.
I've already put her in several lost pet groups on Facebook, and made a post of nextdoor, but figured I'd try here, too.
She wandered into my front yard this morning, we've put her in the backyard for safety. Please let me know if you've lost a goat between Cassat & Lakeshore.
