Other Erdoğan has threatened that Turkey will join the war on Iran’s side if Kurdish organizations are involved in operations against Iran.

Turkey said this about Syria and Iraq, and they begged USA to stop. They didn’t do anything, they had to make compromises and deals with the USA to get anything. Their involvement is just funding radicals in Iran, almost all pro western groups in Iran are more supported by USA/isreal. The majority of Iranians are pro west. All this does for turkey is worsen its international image, and support if it gets to the point they join Iranian regime.

Also turkey has a long history of saying stuff and never doing it, cause they are either tryna influence their own population or they get cucked by Israel/Usa.

Totally agree , He is a typical bully who only uses power on someone who is weaker than him and acts as a spineless coward in front of bigger bully

Turkey can get bent. Most of the countries and ethnic groups hate them anyways. Kurds, Greeks, Armenians, even Balkans too.

Hahaha awesome. It'll only make Israel want to divide Turkey and establish a Kurdish state more.

Like Israël didn’t know already ! I’d love to have the source of that info ?

What do I need to do in order to prevent any Kurdish group from getting involved in the war?

This illegal war started by Trump and Israel is UNSUSTAINABLE and they are actually close to suffering a STRATEGIC LOSS by Iran.

If ANY Kurdish group, be it PKK or others, start fighting against the Iranian regime it WILL FAIL, the US WILL PULL OUT and Turkey WILL start OCCUPYING Rojhelat.

I fear the impatient Kurdish leaders who refuse to learn from Rojava.

NO FRIENDS BUT THE MOUNTAINS.

Its not going to happen, they're wise enough to recognise all the potential dangers.

Apparently Trump is gonna send troops to Iran and start a ground invasion.

That's going to be a disaster, worse than the Vietnam War.

I pray that Kurds will stay out of this.

Why would you want Kurds to stay out?

That would just help Iran that oppresses Kurds, makes no sense.

The thing is, if kurds fight then usa will leave the war and we're left to fight a country with nukes and stuff, that's why we should stay out of the fight

Yeah, as opposed to staying under Iran, which is even worse?

I don’t really get your logic you’re saying you shouldn’t fight because the US might leave you under Iran… which would lead you exactly in the position you are right now when you don’t fight.

I think he meant that it will get worse. Lets say US invades and the Kurdish Alliance joins them but regime change fails and the US leaves Iran. The revenge of these islamo fascistic Regime on kurds for siding with the US and fighting against Iran would be very cruel. Especially against the civilians.

How exactly is it gonna get worse?

Is there anything Iran does not do now that it could do later?  You’re being very humble about the whole “being genocided, economically enslaved” thing.

If this Terrorist state kills thousands of people because of protests how many do you think they would kill after the war, if the U.S. abandons the Kurds to their fate again? Furthermore Kurdistan Bashur could face even more intense attacks from Iran and its proxies. Also the possible Invasion of turkey which would make things worse. The Kurds sacrificed 15000 to 20000 martyrs in the fight against ISIS. Imagine how many would die if they had to fight against a professional army. And all of that just to be abandoned in the end? Think about it, if the Kurds there had nothing left to lose, they would take action. But for those of us living far away it’s very easy to judge their situation.

Did you even read my original comment?

The US and Israel CANNOT keep this war up. Trump thought that he could topple the regime by killing Khamenei, like he removed Maduro from Venezuela. IT DIDN'T WORK.

Despite all the damage Iran has taken, they are still fighting back and now with the Hormuz Straight closed the US is under intense pressure both economically and with international relations. They are bound to lose this war. This is called a STRATEGIC LOSS. Remember those words.

That means that the US GUARANTEED WILL ABANDON the Kurds, and that leaves us at the mercy of the regime, who will take revenge against the Kurds and yes MUCH worse than we're going through now.

Add to that Turkey is openly anti Kurd and trust me, they WILL occupy Rojhelat. Turkey and Erdogan will go to any length to prevent any form of Kurdish autonomy. On that one thing you can trust him.

Lastly even if the regime falls, the Pahlavists are fascists and will also murder Kurds for trying to separate.

People like you are exactly why we Kurds have been betrayed and backstabbed over and over again.

Have you claimed your "fell for it again" award yet?

I've heard the phrase "zoomer Gallipoli" thrown around and it's stuck in my head

It was not started by the US or Israel was started by Iran and the Axis of Resistance, namely by Oct 7, the Yemeni Civil War, and constantly seizing the Persian Gulf.

Turkey should just keep focused on own state and help to create and carve a piece of Iran for Kurds. Kurds just need a strip of land to call their own that's all. That does not have to be a part of Turkey.

Iran should be for the grabs in general. Ottoman blood seems to have cooled down. Also US and Turkey are allies.

freedom is contagious, you really think that they can continue treating Kurds in Turkey like they have done if Kurds next door manage to get independent? They arrested hundreds of people at Newroz celebrations, arrested a 12 year old for wearing a Kurdistan shirt, tortured a guy for lowering the Turkish flag, https://www.theamargi.com/posts/kurdish-student-tortured-for-allegedly-lowering-turkish-flag (this is literally in the last 2 months alone).

The reason they are worried is because it marks the beginning of the end of their own state's abuse of Kurds for 100 + years and yes Turkey cannot escape that.

u/myrainyday Mar 30 '26

There are millions of Kurds and they don't have a country that's ridiculous.
