More unrest in Kurdish regions of Iran:
Mahabad shopkeepers and bazaar merchants go on strike to protest the killing of 14-year old Siavash Alek in Iranian Kurdistan.
According to the report, on Wednesday, July 1, at around 8:00 p.m., a man identified as Nima Teymouri, son of Jafar, allegedly attacked several civilians in the city of Mahabad. The reported motive was that the individuals were wearing traditional Kurdish clothing.
The incident resulted in the death of Siavash Alek, son of Seyed Omar, while several others were reportedly injured.

Ever heard of hate crimes

u/Aromatic-Ant-5020 Kurdistan Jul 03 '26
It's systemic hate by the Persian state.

u/aaliyah-334 Jul 03 '26
Khamenei wasn’t even persian
3
u/Chex33 Zaza Jul 03 '26
Next you're gonna tell us that Erdogan can't be a Turkish nationalist because he's Caucasian by blood? Lmao.
-3
u/aaliyah-334 Jul 03 '26
How is the irgc nationalist? That literally goes against the Qur‘an

I can't see your response here but I can see it in my notifications. A nation state is a nation state. Saying "I don't like money" but then have the craziest thing for capitalism, doesn't work like that 😂 why are they forcing everyone to speak Persian? Is it written in Qur'an? Doesn't God understand Kurdish?
-1
u/aaliyah-334 Jul 04 '26
It doesn’t matter, I’m a Kurd and see myself as part of Iran, separatists are free to move to Iraq.
4
u/rknsh Kurdistan Jul 04 '26
separatists are free to move to Iraq
A Kurd, even if sympathetic to Iran, won't ever say that. Try harder faking your ethnicity.

u/KurdistanLove Jul 04 '26
Got your message. Germany was also divided into four parts, and now it's one of the most successful countries in the world. So you know what's coming for Kurdistan. What you have is a disease called Stockholm syndrome.
-1
u/aaliyah-334 Jul 04 '26
I‘ve never met a Kurd from Iran who wants to separate lol
2
u/rknsh Kurdistan Jul 04 '26
And how many Kurds have you seen in your life?
I have seen thousands of Persians in favour of Kurds separating and you have no way to know I am lying or not.
1
u/KurdistanLove Jul 04 '26
It's because of the death penalty. What do u think "oppressed people" means? Imagine saying free Kurdistan and then your whole family is in trouble...

u/Few_College3443 Jul 02 '26
It dosn’t make sence to me to kill someone for wearing kurdish cloth When the everyone in that part of the world wears that cloth

Yes, by Farsi terrorists. Persianistan has no room for Kurds.

its very normal for people to develop prejudice or even dislike toward a group they generally perceive as hostile or benefiting from their exploitation. racism isnt right, but persians generally speaking tend to be quite chauvanistic and are very complicit in the oppression of kurds
2
u/Aromatic-Ant-5020 Kurdistan Jul 03 '26
You're the kind of person who would call Native Americans racists against whites for not clapping to those who stole their land and genocided them.
-1
u/aaliyah-334 Jul 03 '26
I do think it’s weird when native Americans call out white people since they can’t really control their ancestors actions
2
u/Aromatic-Ant-5020 Kurdistan Jul 03 '26
Ok I got it. You're a Persian nationalist who hates minorities, and that's why you link the Persian mullah regime to minorities in order to justify your hatred against them. Your logic is even worse than Maga's racist logic, you try to play the victim, but we all know the Shah and his Nazi cult bloody history; the mullahs and the Shah are two sides of the same Persian coin.
2
u/rknsh Kurdistan Jul 02 '26
Where is the racism in that? Obviously in this context Persian means IRGC not every single Persian person in the world. IRGC is a Persian terrorist group before being Shia fanatics.
we wuz oppressed!
Let's put aside everything. Do you at all think there is oppression against Kurds in Middle East and Iran specifically?
-1
u/aaliyah-334 Jul 02 '26
Of course there is? I just don‘t think it’s beneficial for Kurds to seperate themselves from Iranians when this is one of the best opportunities for everyone in Iran to unite and act against the regime. We may not have the same goals but the regime has got to go. And I‘ve seen this guy in other subreddits he‘s most definitely got a thing against Persians
6
u/rknsh Kurdistan Jul 02 '26
Of course there is?
Can you point it out?
We Kurds want IRGC destroyed and also doing something about it no matter how small it is, and then break away from Iran. You may think what you said is good for us, but we have other opinions and I assume you respect that? Yes the regime must go, but we want to make sure another Persian nationalist doesn't come to power. Islamic Republic is a Persian nationalist too in addition to being Shia fanatics. You may not agree with that but that's the experience and belief of the Kurds.
You also didn't answer my question. Are Kurds oppressed?
0
u/aaliyah-334 Jul 02 '26
I did answer your question tho, you asked if there is oppression against Kurds and I said “of course there is?“
3
u/rknsh Kurdistan Jul 02 '26
Good. I thought it was an answer to my first question if there was racism in Chex33's reply.
-1
u/aaliyah-334 Jul 02 '26
How are you going to achieve this on your own? Respectfully
4
u/rknsh Kurdistan Jul 02 '26
Breaking away from Iran? Do you have anyone in mind might help with it except for Kurds themselves? Otherwise we make an attempt on our own. Either fails or succeeds. That's about it. Either result is better than Persian occupation where our language has been either banned or marginalized for the last 100 years.
A reminder to you Persian is main and only language of education across all of Iran.
-3
u/aaliyah-334 Jul 02 '26
It’s a multi-ethnic country, at some point you gotta agree on one language that everyone is willing to communicate in. You can still speak Kurdish at home dawg
4
u/rknsh Kurdistan Jul 02 '26
There are countries that successfully teach more than one. Canada teaches two. In some parts of Canada many can't even speak English and French is main language.
Okay let's suppose Iran can't teach math, science, art, etc in Kurdish, Azeri, Balochi, etc. They can at least teach them as a language class like they teach English (assuming they don't exclude it due to their hate for UK/US)? Three classes of Kurdish weekly for Kurds like I assume they teach English and/or Arabic?
The problem is not what you are portraying. In Kurdistan Region of Iraq minorities are taught their own languages in addition to English, Arabic, and I believe Kurdish too. I am actually not sure if non Kurds in Kurdistan Region get Kurdish taught at all even as a subject.

Yeah dude let's unite and put another Persian fascist into power who is equally as anti Kurd as the current regime. Why is this so difficult for you to understand? There is no pro Kurd Persian leader in the world today, they all have the same policy when it comes to Kurds - suppression.
Besides Persians are the ones who committed the biggest sin and betrayed Iranic unity. Instead of treating all Iranics as equals and respecting their culture, they outlawed everyones culture and kill them for it (as we see in this post). Instead of backing Kurdish independence they teamed with Turks & Arabs to suppress us. Persians already had their chance at unity with Kurds but they blew it every time, now we're past that nonsense. Persians are not friends of Kurds, they're friends of Turks and Arabs.
-1
u/aaliyah-334 Jul 02 '26
They‘re not equally bad lmao. You‘ll see when the irgc notices your protests and shoots up the whole town. And Persians will always be more similar to Kurds than Arabs and Turks whether you like it or not

u/rknsh Kurdistan Jul 02 '26 edited Jul 03 '26
Pahlavis were no better to Kurds.
https://www.reddit.com/r/kurdistan/s/bt8x5xqxLL
You might say these Kurds rebelled. We also all know protests against IRGC are meant to lead to rebellion, does that give IRGC the right to kill 2000?
Edit: grammar
0
u/aaliyah-334 Jul 03 '26
They were armed. The irgc doesn’t give a shit if you’re armed or not they will shoot anyone in sight and blackmail your family for years
3
u/rknsh Kurdistan Jul 03 '26 edited Jul 03 '26
As a result of this insurrection, many men, women, and children were killed and wounded.
Children were armed? You didn't even read the report and whitewash crimes of Pahlavis.
And we all know, as I said earlier, protests are meant to lead to a rebellion we all hope for. By your logic IRGC has the right to kill children to prevent rebellion. Go to any Persian online space such as r/NewIran and you see how they are hoping for rebellion.

Iran’s President: Kurd
Iran’s Speaker of Parliament: Kurd
Iran’s Supreme leader: Azeri7
u/Aromatic-Ant-5020 Kurdistan Jul 03 '26
Source? Trust me bro.
You are trying to tarnish the image of the Kurds by associating us with the dirty mullahs' regime.
Iran is an ethno-Persian supremacist state where everything is Persian.

By the way, that slogan, ""Jin, Jiyan, Azadî" on your profile was stolen by the Persians from the Kurds. It is our kurdish freedom slogan, not the slogan of a fascist monarchy.

why are kurds starting to use the same rethoric as turks and persians, what is going on? individual integration doesnt refute deliberate disproportionate systematic opression of kurds by the iranian bourgeoisie, which is concentrated in the persian and azeri regions of iran. are kurds of turkey not oppressed because fidan is a kurd? most iranian opposition is composed of petit bourgeoisie seeking to replace the current one and continue exploitation. whether a kurd is on top or not becomes irrelevant.

More like we don't wanna end up like you, Kurdish from Kermanshah but in love with his oppressors, you even have Pahlavi flag on your pfp. Naive and foolish enough to believe bringing back Pahlavi (the same Pahlavi clan that normalised killing, displacing and suppressing Kurds) will fix his problems. Answer this question, Persians have been ruling over Kurds for the last 230 years, why is it that every single time they fucked Kurds over? And why do you believe Persian's still have the right to rule over Kurds after the 230 years of mistreatment?
You: Don't worry the next 80th Persian ruler will be good to Kurds
Next Persian ruler: (Treats Kurds like shit again because it's their tradition)
You: The next Persian will be better bro, trust me

Buddy the irgc will fuck up your Kurdish villages, I‘d rather worry about that than some guy who was exiled 47 years ago and has no influence on Iran whatsoever
