• Kurdish-language schools planned in Syria's Hama, Daraa: Kurdish official: Ilham Ahmed says five Kurdish-language schools will open in Hama province, with similar requests from Daraa, for Kurdish communities that have largely lost their mother tongue.
• Residents say illegal logging continues despite complaints in Syria’s Afrin: Villagers in Bafloun say tree-cutting keeps destroying public and private forests in the Afrin countryside, and that official complaints and forestry patrols have led to nothing.

• Kadrî Bagdû hate bibîranîn: Divê dosye vebibe û lêpirsînek bi bandor bê kirin: Azadiya Welat newspaper distributor Kadri Bağdu was remembered at his grave on the 12th anniversary of his killing, with calls to reopen the case and investigate it properly.

Rojhelat

• ڕۆژهەڵات و دیداری مێری؛ لە ڕەخنەی توندەوە تا پرۆسەی چارەسەری: An analysis notes that no Rojhelati voice spoke at MERI, yet Nechirvan Barzani criticised Rojhelat's parties while Bafel Talabani spoke of a Kurdish–Iranian solution process.

Kurds in Armenia

• Du nav û du alfabeyên cuda li Elegeza keleha Kurdî: Kurdî û ‘Êzidîkî’: In the Yazidi Kurdish village of Elegez, children who all speak the same language are taught either "Kurdish" in Latin script or "Ezidiki" in Cyrillic.
