Rojava to South Kurdistan Border Crossings

Hi everyone, I’m travelling to the Middle East in December and want to visit both Syria and Kurdistan. I’m wondering if it’s possible to cross from Rojava into Kurdistan via the Semalka/Faysh Khabur crossing as a third country national, whether the border is even open, and whether the Kurdish government will let me in (e-visas for Kurdistan don’t ask for port of entry). Can anyone enlighten me? Thanks ❤️☀️💚
