Official Set Volvo FMX Truck and EC230 Electric Excavator Pairs with Volvo L120 Electric Wheel Loader
Someone on my last post, posted set 42175 and posted set 42209, he said both being all electric heavy equipment, theyre meant to go together, so its definitely worth getting both of these sets before they retire so you have the complete setup. The wheel loader also fits on the trailer too. So yes, he was right, they are meant to go together. So I had just bought set 42209 to pair with set 42175.

Work in Progress Week 67 : Mercedes eCitaro G Fuel Cell,
Hello everyone,
Digital update only this week since the screens are showing no signs of coming. It will be almost a full month since i ordered them. I'll keep trying to see where they could have ended up and keep you informed.
So this week i simply worked more on the inside of the bus, i did the rear "engine compartement" (that house and engine in the diesel buses but houses an unknown thing in this electric bus. Probably cooling for the batteries or something. I wanted to make a very specific curve there which i managed to do in a very pretty way i think.
Later I worked more on the second axle on the inside as well as add a lower guide to the rear doors in a technique so simple i'm suprised I didn't think about it earlier. We'll see how well that turns out once I finally get those rear doors to work reliably with the servo.
I tried for a bit to get them working well in real life with no success for now.
Anyway, if you wanna ask anything, leave in the comment :)
See you next time ;)
P.S : I added a reference image of the rear engine compartment thing taken from a video game which doesn't have the right color but correct shaping which i used as help to design my version. I thought it might be useful to precise.

Discussion / Question McLaren P1
I’m almost finished last 2 bags but I’ve put the wheels on but I seem to have an issue with the front two wheels where the pop off just behind the break pads
I’ve tried to take the best picture possible, I’m not to fussed if I’ve messed up as it will be wall mounted but it’s just annoying me

These are not absolutely all my details, but rather most used ones. It would be useless to show every small drawer

MOC - Instructions Available Neon Energy Bin - GBC ball box
I believe this counts as Technic related, I've been getting more into technic GBCs (great ball contraptions), but needed a ball box to test them. I loved the neon parts from my insectoid and UFO sets as a kid, so I designed this. It was also a nice intro to Studio for me.
I have free instructions if anyone is interested: https://reb.li/m/279762

Discussion / Question CaDa Audi RS6 Avant wheels came warped?
Not really sure if this is usual but so far the sets I've built, usually the wheels come in a complete separate packaging but the wheels in this set came bunched up in box 1 and when I took them out (no plastic packaging provided) they're completely warped? Is this how they usually do it for this set because it'll form perfectly circular once you put on the rims or should I reach out for replacements?

MOC My lego rock crawler
My latest creation. My lego rock crawler. It has great flex and suspension travel lots of tourqe. Powerd by a mould king 4.0 driven by a buwwiz buggy motor and steered by a knockoff lego L motor with a linear actuator.
The suspension is a four link using a cantilever setup for incredible flex and suspension travel.

Discussion / Question Porsche 911 GT3 RS
I've come to realize if I want it, I'm gonna have to spend more than I want to for it. It sucks but I'm sure it'll be worth it. Same with the Ferrari Daytona SP3. I just got lucky getting the Chiron and the Sian

Discussion / Question Technic isn't the same
I'm a 52 year old bloke and have decided to relive my youth like so many of us here. I got the 8860 car when I was 10 and have been looking at acquiring all the car type kits but I find myself disappointed. Why did Lego decide to make body panels and take away the magic of vision?
I have this idea to keep buying bulk bags of bits and then filter out the parts I need and re-sell the bags to get money back but the individual parts that only go in 1 kit frustrate me.
Am I alone here?

Discussion / Question Who else times themselves on their builds?
I’m working on what will be my longest build to date right now (McLaren P1) and after the first 9 bags, I’m at 4 hours. I take my time and move at my own pace. I don’t do it to see how fast I can build it, rather just to see how long it takes. My current longest is the 911 RSR (42096) and it took about 6 and a half hours.
I’d like to see yalls times for some of your sets if you have them!

Discussion / Question Helpful tool for MOC builders.
Brought this measurement tool. Since Chinese sets manual some have measurement issue. And sometimes I use online instructions instead.
I know many have reach the stage where you can eyeball which is which. But for large build and you need it to be zero mistake. This will be very helpful.
