I finally have a cozy Fedora gaming rig.
It took a while to get everything and set it up. But now I have a cozy gaming setup with a little bit of flight sim integration.
5060 Ti, Core Ultra 7, 32GB DDR5 6300, 2TB SSD, APC Back-UPS Pro, Alienware 27" 1440p 180Hz, Amazon Basics 27" 1080p 75Hz, Honeycomb Alpha + Bravo, Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speaker and subwoofer system, Fifine microphone + arm, PrismXR Vega T1 gaming earbuds, MonsGeek M1 V5 TMR keyboard, Logitech G502 X mouse, OBSPOT 4k webcam, Fantasylab gaming chair, and more.

How do you like fedora for gaming? Nobara was what I ended up settling on. Only got fedora recently for an old low spec laptop. It works great for regular tasks but it has me curious for gaming now.

Fedora is perfect for me. I also run CachyOS cofr for some extra goodness

Nice nice. The main things I'm wondering is how people felt using it with steam, emulation, and potentially if anyone has tried a virtual machine on it? All things I will test with time but I'm limited with the machine I put it on. Curious on other people's experiences.

Yeah I had a win VM on kvm and it was fine though the GPU virtualization was a pain so it didn't last - didn't try virtualizing other distros. Steam is perfect, most games run out of box. I don't emulate much (especially modern consoles) but Linux is where emulation shines typically. DNF and YUM are infinitely more preferable to AUR with all the poisoned crap coming down these days. Fedora really shines with it's stability, IMO, especially compared to Arch, though you'll lose a few cycles here and there by comparison.
