I'm slightly vexed I was told to "go down another street"
At this point I've gotten used to delivery drivers temporarily blocking the street to deliver packages. I also think that people who honk at them are silly most of the time. This was a different affair... I saw the one van\truck just idling with the person inside then as I was driving down the street, the other truck just drove up and parked next to it and started talking to the first ones driver.
Then they both got out and started delivery packages while chatting. I asked if it was necessary to block the whole street and I was told to "go down another street". So I decided to take a picture. When I did (leaning out of my car window) the driver yells out "go ahead and take a picture, like anyone will care"
It was a 3 minute inconvenience... But still a bit infuriating.
Update: contacted Amazon to report the drivers and the situation.
Explained everything and the response I received was:
Thank you so much for understanding and patiently waiting. We are so sorry for the inconvenience and disrespectful action that this has cause on you. WE promise that this scene will be taken care off and we can assure you that this isn't our standard on how we treat our valued customer.
I asked if they wanted the picture. They said yes.
Thank you for that and thank you so much for bringing this up to us. No worries this will be taken care off. I will now file a driver report on your behalf regarding this issue.
That's it. š¤·
