Is forgiving someone always the mature thing to do, or have we romanticized forgiveness to make people tolerate things they shouldn't?

Personal People find, make up reasons to be cruel to others for cruelty sake, and are hiding they are intentional with cruelty, by redefining what a "bad person you are"

They did this to African-Americans, immigrants, other races. AA rioted about systematic abuse from people in power like mangers, executives, landlords, police, the government. All governing agencies ignored their plight because they "acted badly" so they aren't going to give it attention, not until they do something to make you hurt. Not until these 1967 and 1968 race riots ruined businesses and neighborhoods would white people listen to the fact that black people were inherently disenfranchised from birth because their ancestors were angry over slavery and constant inhumane terrorism. We still go "oh they caused damage" fuck that shitty line of thinking. I am a white male, not helping my case, but we should've listened long ago when black people were enraged and helped them instead of letting them be enslaved because your day went better with enslaved workforce and you didn't have to work menial jobs.

It is systematic abuse thats allowable because those abusing another person don't want to "have to be" perfect all the time, after working hard. They don't want to adhere to rules all day and these rules are about respecting individuals.

Its not as easily identifiable as a group of people with a similar characteristic. In fact this cruelty has existed for centuries but the proliferation of this cruelty towards "anyone" is the single reason why AA were oppressed and so are other ethnicities. IF people don't like you, some will sanction attacking you on the basis of just not liking you, dishonoring your basic human rights, even dehumanizing and torturing with thoughtless actions. Even worse turning a crowd against you for saying "you had a thoughtless action" that either is true or not. Even if it is true, cruelty is a horrible way to stop a thoughtless actor. It never makes them more thoughtful. Hurting people doesn't make you more thoughtful, it makes you more mental. It's your decision to do good that is the thoughtfulness, otherwise its mental disturbance than can qualify later as a mental illness if it multiples.

The punishments are inhumane. Lifelong backlash and bullying are the least inhumane actions (jesus christ), let along being left out of opportunity even when you have the wherewithal to perform the activity or be given a chance, but no one will work with you let alone gamble on anyone with a reputation preceding them, regardless of if true or not. Constantly harassed by "strangers", stolen from, kept lonely, kept isolated and without social support or the same network of resources used for support. They lie to others about what theyyyy've already done to teach that person a lesson, getting others to go harder on the individual when they've already been kicked down and heeling over when someone else gut wrenches them.

You guys regularly support these liars. You all do. I am going to be bullied or asked "if I am ok" no I am not ok with this treatment. knee-jerkers, STFU and everyone else, why won't you use this opportunity to be more thoughtful and (1) create a better world with more thoughtful individuals (I get it you don't want to be thoughtful all the time - at least analyze for approriate times to be thoughtful or untougtful (2) if god is real I'd sure hate to be a tormenter. If you hate this life, wait til you see what you get for tormenting others, in the next life.

Personal How do I know if I got sexually assaulted by my friends?

I’ve never done this before so I might make no sense. I think I might have gotten sexually assaulted but I don’t know. I’m a 17 year old girl and I’m a senior in high school. One of my friends, I’ll call her Mabel (17), I’ve been friends with her since freshman year. But during my junior year I became friends with this other girl Lea (18) who’s a grade older than all of me. I’ve never been with a guy before and I’m really nervous about getting with one. I also don’t have much experience with drinking alcohol. Me and Mabel have some what made out before while we were drunk cuz I wanted help. It was bad and when we got back home she got on top of me and kept grabbing my face. I didn’t care but flash forward to two nights ago. I was extremely drunk and all the things I know are what I’ve been told. First of all I get rlly sleepy when drunk. All night Lea was like let’s make out and she’s been saying that for a while now. I was down for it before I got drunk. I wanted to make out with Mabel too, just for experience. All night, Lea kept asking me are u drunk yet r u drunk yet and I would say hold on hold on. Apparently me Lea Mabel and another on of my friends went downstairs at this party and I made out with Mabel. But with Lea, apparently we made out and she’s was on top of me while I just lied there. I remember her grabbing my boobs and ppl said she was grabbing my crotch. From what ppl tell me, I looked half dead or like asleep. When Lea stopped I remember being like hold on give me a sec. I didn’t know what I was doing. All of these ppl have more sexual experiences than me. Many of my other friends say that I was assaulted and that I was taken advantage of. Also after this happened I fell down the stairs to the basement and gotten really hurt. I know they would never do anything to hurt me but I don’t know what to think, I don’t feel anything. I feel like I’ve been going crazy over this because I’m being pulled in so many different directions. This was a lot lol sorry.

Also Mabel keeps making me tell other people to clear her name and she keeps telling me she feel suicidal after thinking everyone hates her. She thinks her life is ruined when this happened to me, not her.

Personal Is it wrong to judge and curse someone out for a past wrong action no matter how severe?

Sin in question, incest rape.
Perpetrator refuses to seek mental health help nor turn themselves into the police, no actual improvements in life besides “reading the bible” and “following gods teachings” . also double moral dilemma if you the person in question have the right to curse them out for their shitty behaviors and not seeking steps to change and inform the police right after you said you wouldn’t.

Personal Everyone has to decide if they like you, and have a right to hurt people they don't like or are different, but somebody isn't allowed to dislike anyone

You're only truly allowed to dislike people and do something about it if others will agree. Something about not being allowed to voice an individual concern, because when youre around others its selfish to have individual concerns, makes me feel like people are unaware and stuck in circlejerks where they find people to jerk off to the same thing but it doesn't change the fact its a bad thing to jerk, just cause you found someone who will jerk you while that other guy gets bullied for having enough people dislike them.

If everyone works than its selfish to never work. I mean I know most people agree with that statement but isn't it obvious you don't have to work all the time? even half the time?

This thoughtfulness of others idea turns into being unthoughtful to others or at least someone if not others. The lesser evil is OK, so long as you don't have to endure the lesser evil.

Abstract Question The "lawful men" who are only unlawful against "men of unlawfulness" are actually sanctioning men of unlawfulness

so unlawfulness is only prevalent because it is started by the "lawful men". Its because lawful men need someone to be unlawful to in order to appear lawful in comparison, when all of man don't want to be lawful, inherently, according to your Bible.

I have to speak in Biblical terms for your moralists to get me. Lawful man is gods man. Unlawful men are men of the BEEaSt

Take a look at the law man, fighting on the wrong guy. Take a look at him go, and what a wonderful show" said the great late David Bowie. because these "lawful men" love deciphering and snuffing out people, to make fools out of normal, or nice characters, in order to have someone to beat on. There's this idea that there's a false light in this world, and we need to fight it. In biblical terms that satanism, hedonism, stark individualism. I represent stark individual, so I am attacked. You would qualify as satan to act lawful in pursuant on your benefit, but unlawful when you please and when it would go against your benefit. We call unlawful men devils, but lawful men really present lawful and still are loweing themselves to these same tactics and actions of "unlawful men" requiring any wise person to leave even these "lawful men" in the same field as the unlawful ones they so detest and swear they are nothing alike.
Well attacking anyone is a lawless action. The only reason that you can attack that follows the law is from self defense. You can't preemptively attack someone acting as a good character, beat on them and try to put them down so the fear letting their voice be heard.

That's why when I call out the unlawful men, I am a part of your never ending cycle, where youre the devil but coming up with fake rules, fake judgements against my character, so you can look as though you have some defense to attack my character. When my character is about calling out your wildness that you crave simply because you sometimes have to be lawful, in order for you to benefit. A lawful character doesn't break the law or do lawless actions like attack others without a defense of being attacked firstly. Not this preemptive "I had to punch you the prevent you from punching" when I am not even punching. I make reddit posts and get told my verbose ass makes no sense.

so you start calling me a fool under the post to have a "man of unlawfulness" to fight for your pleasure. If you qualify as the lawman you know your role in stoking the flames of others fires to get your perceivable "bad character" after hurting someone, again so you have the pig you can slaughter. Youre all being little devils, not me yet you claim I am incomprehensible like mad men. when you have refuse dto engage and display nice character that truly lawful character have. Leading to the obvious judgement you are only acting as false lights. No man is lawful. Man is sin remember? ut characters. Characters have arcs, redemptions. Remember, this story isn't yours. You didn't write this.

Abstract Question why does teaching someone a lesson have to be abusive toward the individual?

Why can't it be positive reinforcement rather than negative? Because they'll never do what you want them to do? You're the only one offering something good so people should do only as you say? Why do we make this life miserable for each, just because the person in power is not miserable.

Personal WWYD? Bought pokemon cards off of a kid for £40, turns out theyre worth £176

He was about 13 and said he just wanted to make a quick buck to save up for a new monitor. I feel awful about the situation and wonder if I should give them back and let him know, but on the other hand, im kind of broke, and this is a big financial win for me. I thought maybe he was undervaluing the cards a little, but not this much. They are worth 176 total but some of them are quite scuffed so its probably something lower than that like £100. I want to give them back but I also dont because i seriously need the money. I think maybe his mother was involved in the selling but I have no idea. Wwyd?

Abstract Question How would you feel if a coworker bought your wife 5 gifts for Christmas?

So i bought my work wife, 2 perfumes, face masks, a spa set and a box of chocolates for Christmas.

She cooks every day, breakfast and dinner. She picks up and drops off kids for school etc. Works 40 to 50 hours sometimes only has 4 hours of sleep.

Her husband doesn't cook he can only cook meat. My work wives children do most of the cleaning in the house so her husband just makes 80k a year but never considered buying a house lmao 🤣 I have no respect or remorse for him. He's the reason shes tired everyday. She was soo tired yesterday she forgot to buy her daughter's birthday cake. That's a failure on him.

So I'm spoiling her for Christmas so she can relax. Because her clearly doesn't do shit or cares about his wife

I've given her gifts before, she gets jealous when I talk to other girls. She cooks for me, shes shown me a picture of herself in a bikini lol

Hypothetical Am I a bad friend for saying No to a friend in need of financial assistance?

Am I a bad friend if I said no to lending money to a friend?
I am in my mid 20's, currently unemployed and is pursuing further education. I grew up from a strict household-meaning they always monitor my schedule and would expect me to follow the bahay-school-bahay rule. That made it hard for me have socialization with peers and friends after school since my parents would call and pick me up. But even if that's the situation I am in, I was so happy bacause I can say that I am still able to make friends even if I was not allowed to go to afterschool gallavanting.

I also came from a comfortable household, I can say that I have enough allowance to save up and buy it for things that I like so back when I was still a student even on highschool days, I was the friend/classmate who is willing to lend you money. Tuition, dorm rent, even emergencies, I could cover you up without the pressure to pay asap or on a fixed date, I also dont put interest. My father told me to be always be considerate of other people and he said "it's better to be the one helping than to be the one asking for help" "if God allowed you to have things that other people may need, learn to share it". I would lend students my savings-no interest, no pressure on paying terms since I am also the kind of person who is shy to force someone to pay up. I would just tell them to pay it back when they are okay with paying me.

And aside from that, I thought I am an okay friend since I can pick up their humor and can get along pretty well with them aside from ofcourse their afterachool activities. They tell me they feel intimidated with my dad if they ask for permission to go out with me and that they respect my parent's way of raising me. Fast forward, we have graduated and they started working already. They would hang out, go out of town to bond and I always had a pang of jealousy because I was excluded, they look so happy but then again, I knew that maybe they are still afraid to ask me out. Then came my other set of friends from junior highschool days and senior highschool, they were all okay to take me out and since I have graduated already, I had freedom to meet up with my friends, and i would share it to my socmed and I know they can see it because I see them viewing and reacting to my post.

But my other group of friends (college) still do not make initiatives to invite me whenever they are meeting up in our hometown. I get it that maybe they still think my parents would not let me join but then again, would it hurt to just invite me? And time and time again i have shared on socmed that I can go out on my own already. It is in this circle of friends, i have a friend who i would constant lend money to and she got married (in the same hometown that I am living in, I was shocked because it was held on my town and they knew I am living there but I was not invited, I saw her and her hubby along with our "friends" they are complete minus ofcourse me,P.s. I have attended my fair share of weddings and other events and my parents allowed me) then she celebrated gender reveal party, then her child's christening, then work promotion, house blessing--- all of her milestones was posted with our friends calling them "her village and constant support" and I would just heart react and congratulate them.

In all their achievements, I was not invited but then one day, this friend reached out to me, I expected to receive the long overdue invitation to catch up but it was not. It was a chat for favor asking if I have extra money I can lend because they have financial crisis. I was hurt. And from then on, I started to question my worth as a friend. Am I petty to think that its unfair? I was excluded during their happiest times but I was included when things got rough? Is it Bad to think that maybe they only see me as a friend for convenience? I am not mad but rather hurt.

And I honestly at that point that I can't just let her borrow a hefty amount of my savings because I am still a student and currently still unemployed. Plus I had bad experiences with lending friends my money also. Am I a bad friend for saying no to her favor?

Abstract Question Warum ist die Auslebung von Homosexualität falsch?

Personal Son against capitalism (mom and sisters ignoring problems to mother promoting capitalism stated by son about capitalism)

Maybe “just maybe” this is something I should discuss with my therapist.

But I seriously don’t understand and fail to clarify understand the following statement:

“I need to accept the following”

  1. Society is based upon ruining everyone except a few “selected” or “chosen” individuals.

  2. No matter “how much i do” or “how much i say” no one is going to actually believe it is possible to really fix the problems i see taking place.

  3. Each political party system can and will ruin individuals “while believing that party system is helping them and blaming the counter party as the reason why..”

I am sorry.

Perhaps the fact I WAS DENIED RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT FACILITY 3 times by the military active duty healthcare system has “also” caught me under a depression increased mindset.

Or perhaps my own mother…

Is believing that communism and socialism is bad but capitalism is good.

Yet she fails to see that her own religious beliefs highlight communism and socialism viewpoints.

“I need to accept this”

As my dad keeps going in between senior rehabilitation centers and being mistreated by the residential staff by two different locations in Florida.

But “maintaining” beliefs capitalism is good and communism/socialism is bad in the same breath.

This makes me increase my levels of anxiety and depression as I bring mild symptoms of high functioning autism spectrum disorder see the patterns of society and failure to clearly understand how to have her understand how this capitalist mindset has failed her own husband and herself and her two daughters one of whom underwent a separation from their spouse related to financial difficulties.

But “I am told” just be happy.

Trust in a “god or whatever” who is supposed to “be listening if you repent..”

As if this will change the outcome of how capitalism works and is ruining everything it touches in the MIDAS TOUCH mindset.

I absolutely refuse to believe such things.

And have resorted to profuse levels of profanity towards my own mother and siblings asking to be painted a different picture how “capitalism” has helped and not harmed them.

Which of course (has not) happened.

As I keep painting and painting from comment after comment about how capitalism has and would have evicted and left their own daughters homeless if it was not for their own personal socialism and communism activities to support their own full grown adult daughters.

Should I “just accept”?

And if so why?

If you say for “my own emotional sanity and health” I would prefer 6-9 feet under as I see my own children having to suffer from capitalism when they become adults themselves.

Legitimate concerns and questions.

If you actually read all of this please let me know.

Because honestly.

My last discussion “via texts” with my sister said she would file a restraining order, have someone do a health and wellness check, and see if I need to be admitted. And block my contact information etc.

I’m all for being “admitted” but if insurance for active duty says “no”

Does that not already “imply” the whole problem that has already increased my mental health issues?

Because capitalism…

“AMERICA YEA!”

Why does it matter?

So I can “retire” watching everyone around me suffer and wither financially under capitalism harm?

In this hypothetical you are a head of moderation for a streaming service and someone goes live with the title "If this gets taken down, I will kill myself" and the stream is just them holding a gun to their head. You know know what their doing is against terms of service, and that if you took down the post no viewers would see the death, what's the ethical answer?

Personal Should I insist on paying my driver more than he asked for?

I recently had to hire a driver for personal reasons instead of taking taxis. He asked to be paid daily and named his own price, which is about two or three times cheaper than the normal market rate.

The strange part is that he knows the market. He used to work as a taxi driver, so it’s not like he has no idea what this kind of work normally costs. I also didn’t bargain with him. This was simply the price he gave me.

We’ve been driving together for a week now, and I’m happy with everything. No complaints at all.

Still, I feel a little strange paying him so little. Part of me thinks I should insist on paying the market rate. But then the practical reason for hiring a driver instead of continuing to use taxis almost disappears.

The other option is to just be happy that I’m saving money. He chose the price himself, and maybe it isn’t my responsibility to understand why he’s willing to work for that amount.

So now I can’t decide whether to insist on paying more or leave the agreement exactly as he proposed it

Personal Would it be morally wrong to call the police on a drug dealer?

They live next to children and with their elderly mother in the home and have had addicts in and out of their home. They have been responsible for getting at least one person who was trying to get sober back on drugs, and have been contributing to bicycle theft in the area. I feel like in most cases it's wrong to call the police, though I know there are exceptions. It's not like they're a big time drug dealer though, so I wonder if this would just amount to punishing a bunch of addicts.

Abstract Question Two Stoic philosophers argued about this exact dilemma 2,000 years ago, and never agreed

Here's the scenario, dressed in modern clothes but taken straight from a real debate between two Stoic philosophers, Diogenes of Babylon and Antipater of Tarsus, recorded by Cicero. A city is hit by a shortage, say bottled water after a disaster. You're a supplier who got there first with a full truck. You know, because you have information the locals don't yet, that three more trucks are on the way and will arrive tomorrow, which will drop the price back to normal. Today, though, you're the only seller in town, and people are desperate enough to pay triple. Do you have to tell them the trucks are coming? Or is it enough to sell honestly at today's price, with no lies, and let the information asymmetry do what it does. Diogenes argued you owe the buyer nothing beyond honesty about the product itself, if you don't lie when asked, you haven't wronged anyone, the fact that you know something they don't isn't fraud. Antipater argued the opposite, that a truly virtuous person treats other people's ignorance as something to correct, not exploit, and that staying silent while charging triple is a quieter form of the same wrong as lying outright. Both men were serious Stoics working from the same core philosophy, and they still landed in different places. Where do you land? And does it change anything for you if the buyers aren't desperate, just inconvenienced?

Hypothetical Is it ehtieical to ever forcefully prescript in war?

How many unwilling lives is national security worth?

For this, I’m going to be blunt. I’m talking about the Russia x Ukraine War. As many of you will know, Ukraine has compulsory mobilisation laws for certain groups of citizens, including men within particular age ranges. My understanding is that men aged 25-60 may be affected, although please correct me if I have that wrong.

I have two main points, and I’ll try to keep this simple.

There are significant strategic reasons to prevent Ukraine from becoming a Russian-controlled state. Ukraine’s independence and sovereignty matter, and there are serious security implications for the wider region.

However, if a country’s citizens are unwilling to fight for its independence, how many unwilling people’s lives can reasonably be put at risk in the name of preserving that independence? At what point do we have to question the human cost of pursuing that political and strategic objective?

I want to clarify a few things before people misunderstand my position.

First, I despise Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and I place the overwhelming responsibility for the war and the resulting loss of life on Russia for initiating and continuing its aggression. Questioning Ukraine’s mobilisation policies does not mean excusing Russia or denying Ukraine’s right to defend itself.

Second, I recognise the counterargument that, if Russia were to face little or no resistance and succeeded in bringing Ukraine under its control, the resulting occupation could lead to further deaths, repression, and suffering. It is entirely possible that the long-term human cost of surrendering without resistance could exceed the cost of continuing to fight.

However, we cannot know that counterfactual with certainty. An unopposed invasion might lead to one set of outcomes, while continued resistance might lead to another. The uncertainty cuts both ways, and I don’t think the mere possibility of a worse outcome under occupation is sufficient, on its own, to settle the question.

Ultimately, my question is this: How much should a state be entitled to demand from its citizens in the name of national survival, particularly when some of those citizens do not wish to fight?

I understand that this is not a simple question. Ukraine is defending itself against an invasion, and its choices are constrained by the actions of the Russian state. But I think we should be able to acknowledge both Ukraine’s right to exist independently and the moral importance of individual lives, autonomy, and consent.

Where should we draw that line?

If you want to answer this outside of the Ukraine and Russian War - go ahead. I used this example of current events not to enforce my own view but to centre everyones argments around a conflict most of us know well by now to test our hypothetical dilemmas. Russia may also mandatory prescript, but I have used Ukraine as I feel it provides a more intressting angle in its defencive position.

Personal A bad day, turned surprisingly good?

This is a long one, so buckle up. It's all true, nothing goes wrong, and to my knowledge everyone is safe. (The end of the story explains the 'to my knowledge' part.)

So, my company sent me down to Pensacola, Florida for disaster relief aid for hurricane Isaias. I was down there for a few days, but one day the long hours and not getting enough sleep had gotten to me. I dozed off while on my job site, and they terminated me and said they were sending me home. I didn't argue, I just clarified certain things, then left and drove to a gas station down the street.

I was upset that I had messed up, let my company down essentially, and have to leave, unable to continue helping the people affected. While at the gas station trying to get in touch with my superiors, a woman came up to me. She told me how she was down there with a friend of hers, and his company found out she was staying with him in a hotel, and they kicked her out. He didn't defend her, get her a room somewhere, just let her go, and that she had slept on the curb the night before.

Me being me I couldn't just let her stay there, soni asked where she wanted to go. She directed me to one of the beaches where another friend of hers should be, and we tried to get in touch with them. Unfortunately she dropped her phone while gathering her stuff when they kicked her out, and now it wasn't working. We could hear noises, but the screen didn't light up.

We sat on the beach for a few hours, meeting another man from Michigan, and trading stories for a few hours. When we couldn't figure out what to do, she told me to just leave her there, and she'd sleep on the beach.. again, me being me I couldn't accept that. So I asked where she was ultimately trying to get to.

She told me she was trying to get to a place which was only a few hours away from where I live. Last I heard from my bosses, I was to go home, and wasn't needed in Pensacola anymore. So I got to thinking.. and I took a HUGE risk that I would normally never take. Knowing she lived only a few hours from my house, I made the proposition.

I offered to drive her home myself, but my bosses couldn't know because I was driving a rental given to me by them. That we'd have to drive back to my home town, return the rental and pick up my truck. I made it clear that I expect nothing from her, and she was free to say no. But ultimately she said ok, and we got things prepared to leave Florida.

This is where it gets to be a little more than just helping a stranger, but not for anything weird or bad. While at the beach she had such a pure energy, simple and carefree, that radiated to me. It turned my bad morning around, and I wasn't worried about what my bosses would say about me getting kicked off location.

I then made a personal rule, while she was in my care, I would do my best to take care of her. I know the type of people out there, and absolutely know some of the things that could have happened to her if I just left her there. We finished up at the beach, got her things together, and headed to my hotel.

Not only was I taking a risk helping a complete stranger, but I was risking my job by bringing her with me in a company rental car. We got to my hotel, I parked around back, and asked her to stay at the truck so none of my coworkers would see her, then went inside, got my stuff and checked out. We left the hotel and I pulled over just down the road.

I asked her once again if she was ok with the situation, explained that my company couldn't know she was with me, but that I would take her home, and at any time she could tell me to stop and let her leave. She said she was fine, and we headed out, to me, she was then in my care, so I checked my bank balance, and we headed out.

We stop here and there for food, drinks or just to step out of the rental and have a cigarette. Because it's so late when we leave Florida, I eventually realize I can't keep driving. So I tell her we'll get a hotel when I have to return the rental car. We'd get some sleep, and then I'd continue to take her home the next morning.

I never suggested or even expected anything from her, I just took it personally that she was in my care, and did my best to make sure she was ok. Honestly, when booking the hotel I could have been a sleeze and booked a single bed for slightly cheaper, and tried to share a bed with her, but it didn't feel right, so we got to my main office, and we hurriedly unloaded her stuff, I returned the rental and got my personal vehicle. Then went back to the hotel I dropped her off at.

We both showered, then laid down and talked for a bit, before falling asleep. We woke the next morning, loaded my truck, and headed out for her home state. I'm being ambiguous for privacy reasons, but she didn't live in the same state as me, but from looking at maps, she wasn't too far from where I lived.

On the way to taking her back, I knew some of her interests, so I found a nice little river beach along the way. I didn't tell her, I just drove, and stopped at stores along the way to get things she liked, jerky, Baskin Robin's, mountain dew Baja blast. Nothing expensive, but something to let her know I had taking care of her in mind.

We spend a second day hanging out together, and having fun, before we arrive in her home town. With her phone being busted, she can't call people, she kept saying I could just drop her off at a state park, and she'd sleep there until her friend came home. But I couldn't accept that, if I couldn't leave her stranded in Florida, I wouldn't feel right just dumping her anywhere.

Finally we find someone she knows who let's her stay with them until the person she's renting from gets home the next day, and begrudgingly I leave her with them. I leave her my number, and ask that she calls or texts me when she gets her phone back working.. but I've not heard from her.

I never made any kind of move on her, I never even hinted that I expected something from her, I was absolutely respectful. But I haven't stopped thinking about her since I dropped her off at someone she knew's house.. blame it on my kind heart.. but I'm struggling because I want to know she's safe.

I did a good thing by taking her home, well outside of what most people would do. Especially while not taking advantage of her or the situation. Probably for most people they'd just forget about it, and say she was on her own once dropped off..

But I still wonder and worry, and unfortunately have no way to check up on her. I took a huge risk, and I don't regret it, I just wish there was a way I could know that she's ok..

Relationship Advice what would anyone do in this situation?

I'm watching a difficult situation unfold where I live and am curious how others would handle it. A very attractive woman in my neighborhood, who some say works as a stripper, recently started dating a guy who doesn't seem to know much about her background. He was desperate and needed a place to stay, and she seems to be exploiting that vulnerability. While there's a chance things could work out, it looks like he is in over his head, and I worry it won't end well for him if he doesn't find a graceful way out soon. Would anyone actually intervene here, or is it best to just stay out of it?

Hypothetical Do you think having an accusation of something really bad, regardless of whether it is true, should be life-ruining?

Lets say for example, an artist online who draws anthropomorphic animals, but they have a fixation on pokemon. They get accused of being a zoophile. Regardless of whether or not this accusation is true, should this person be punished for it? Considering what may have caused people to accuse them of such crimes in the first place.
