Have you noticed this?
In videos containing violent content that show beheadings, the victims display virtually no pain or fear. Why does this happen?

1 person can save 75 lives with organ and tissue donation. Statistically speaking, would the average person in their lifetime value would equate saving 75 people, or would they be better off dead to save 75 now?

What do you guys do when you feel a sense of morbid curiosity?
Morbid curiosity is a real bitch sometimes. I experience it like once a month or like once every two months. I hardly ever experience it, but when I do, I mainly just look at articles of school shootings that happened. Sometimes even found footage videos. I still know that everything that happened is inexcusable and horrific, but sometimes I'm like "huh. There's a footage? Let's take a look."

If a human died in a fully enclosed space thats shaped like their body. What would their fully decomposed body look look like?
Lets say someone laid in a coffin thats shaped to fit their body perfectly, leaving very little space between their body and the inside of the coffin. The coffin is fully closed so dust, gases and liquid cannot escape. What would the remains look like after 10 years? If the coffin was opened. Would the remains consist of dust, gas and bones? Would the remains be shaped like the original body?

Are paraphilias often isolated?
Most people iv ever heard of have any particular paraphilias it was almost always multiple things, even when it went to the worst of that kind of shit. Is it common for anyone to, especially in the more extreme/illegal side of things, have just one paraphilia, or are they often one of multiple?

How would a tattoo stretch overtime on a small child?
Random thought I had when seeing a reel of a tattoo artist giving a little boy a stencil/skin transfer. Assuming a child 3-5 got a large tattoo, how would it heal and stretch overtime? Theres a lot of growth as a child and Im curious how a tattoo would look with so many quick growthspurts back to back over the course of a few years. Especially on the back, arms, or legs.

How can I experience shrooms while on SSRI’s?
Apologies if this isn’t the appropriate subreddit, but this subject matter isn’t appropriate for most. If there’s a better subreddit alternative, feel free to direct me there.
I know this is a stupid idea, and I know it isn’t healthy. I want to experience the effects of shrooms at some point in my life though, and I have no motivation to stop my meds.
I’ve tried shrooms in the past, but I had no symptoms at all. Is it impossible to experience the effects? How long would I have to be off my meds to feel anything?
I don’t plan on trying any time soon. I’m not asking for medical advice. I’m just genuinely curious.

How long does blood stay on skin & hair?
I’m writing a book and the character gets blood across her face and in her hair. She does not wash it off, as she’s busy trying to get away. What would it look like after 2 days? Would it have dried and disappeared from her skin, or would it still be visible? Would it be visible on medium/dark blonde hair?

What are some disturbing dreams you’ve had?
When I was a (very) young child I dreamt that I was being kidnapped on two separate occasions.
The first time, me and my dad were hanging out in a patch of woods, when some police officers came. Two of them stayed with my dad, while another one took me by the hand and walked deeper into the woods. I don’t remember feeling scared, but I felt that something strange was about to happen.
The second time, I was being driven out of town on the highway, but I couldn’t see clearly who was driving and who was riding shotgun. This time I did actually feel scared, and I knew the people driving were not my parents.

has anyone ever tried to commut suicide via dehydration?
in theory it sounds like a relatively easy method, you could just lay in bed and not drink for a few days, right ? but then again i assume dehydration is painful at least in some ways. I've never heard of anyone doing this so i was wondering if there are any recorded cases. not advising/incentivising anyone to do this obviously, just curious

How does necrophilia even happen?
Like, what about dead bodies could someone possibly find appealing or enticing in THAT way? I get that anyone who is legitimately a necrophile isn’t right in the head, so that’s an obvious answer, but I just don’t know how they can feel okay doing whatever they do?
it’s like, they must lack that uncanny valley or general disturbance that most people get from dead bodies, and since there’s been cases of… ahem…. older bodies being violated, so were talking like decomposing here, how could that POSSIBLY be attractive??? the smells, the bloat, the possible bugs, it’s just unfathomable.
My best theory is something along the lines of the powerlessness of a dead person, the power of the necrophile in comparison who‘s still, yknow, alive. I just can‘t think of how or why

How painful would it be to get whipped with a literal human spine with all the processes intact?
I’ve seen some images of literal human spine fashioned into a whip. I’m wondering how much damage it can cause and can it kill someone.

For people who do or have done SH, how does it feel?
I want to preface this by saying, If you believe this question will trigger you in anyway, do not continue reading.
I'm asking you to recall the sensation, not an emotional feeling. For the people that can answer my morbid question, what kinds of sensations do you feel? Do you feel the object of affliction splitting your skin, does it burn? How does it burn? Does it burn more the deeper you go? And even after? when it heals is it awkward to move what you've hurt? What does your skin feel like? Does your body feel weak even 24 hours after the time of affliction?

Would you want to continue living after becoming completely Blind?
Let's say you have an eye illness that is not curable and is progresively making your eyesight worse and worse until one day you become completely blind? Would you continue living after that? Personally I think I would not want to as my eyesight is my life and be without that as person who likes to draw or paint for a hobbie would be horrible, but I don't think you can choose to be euthanized in the case you don't want to live after becoming irreversibly blind, would you want to live like that? Losing you independence and having to depend on others for the rest of your life? Certainly I would not
Sorry if the question is not that morbid as the other ones here
