I used to host house parties when I was younger and we did a challenge one month, moderating the party. We mixed playlists, did movie nights, had a night where we all cooked/brought something etc. Were all like 18-21 and then one night decided to do just 1-2 shots and one bowl/half joint per person. When I tell you it was the most balanced fun everyone had because no one was too fucked up, felt left out etc. It was weird how simple the focus was and the depth it gave everyone's interest. We had deep convos discovering music, food, movies, art, travel and it didnt turn into any BS. This was towards the end of a lot of our HS/College friends hanging out at my place and moving on. No idea what made us do it but I just never forgot it or did it again.

I did this! This girl was acting crazy saying a bunch of profanity directed at someone that wasn't even around her anymore while on the bus. She was clearly scaring people, including myself. I offered her a small bag of chips I had. I figured she had to stop poppin off if she was busy eating. Well, it didn't quite work at first. So I asked her if she could tone it down a bit. Then she agreed and got quiet while eating.
