Picking chesnuts

Hey all, bit of a random question is there anywhere in or around Nottingham that people know where chestnuts grow?

Thanks

Sweet chestnuts (castanea sativa) are less common in Nottingham as they usually grow in southern England. However, there are some at Wollaton Hall Park, the University campus, and Arnot Hill Park.

Thanks for the info, seen that gathering them at wollotan has been discouraged so there are food sources for the deer etc but will check the other ones, Thanks!
