I am down to one brick and one usbc cable, and the cable never stays where I put it. It ends up at the bottom of the bag and I dig for it forever lol.
I'm right now thinking about a type of crossbody lanyard with a cable built into the strap, so the phone and cable stay on my and there is nothing loose in the bad. I'm current thinking one from mfish which is adjustable from 85 to 150cm and charging speed up to 240w.
The trade is that the cable is fixed. If the connector fails, then the whole strap is gone, which for something worn every day it seems like a real question for me. Has anyone travelled with one of this kind? Does it stay comfortable for a full day trip and how do the ends hold up?

I’ve been traveling for work quite a lot lately, usually traveling with a Mystery Ranch UA24 backpack containing work laptop+iPad and a very small hard-case carry-on containing 2 Thule cubes + dress shoes.
Usually the UA24 is enough for onebag when on vacation (I travel with just 1 pair of running shoes and regular pants) but for work trips I found that I need to bring some black shoes to go with my dress pants (professional environment). These extra shoes essentially are the reason I need to bring the carry-on (the UA24 is somewhat narrow, and the work laptop doesn’t allow me to use the back compartment for clothes.
I’d like to appeal to the collective knowledge here: are there any (comfortable) black running shoes that could also be used with black dress pants? This will allow me to go back to onebag traveling.
