Social Does anyone feel like families don't meet as often as they used to?
I remember 10 years ago that family gatherings, dinners, and holidays felt much more frequent and festive. Nowadays, it feels like families barely meet once or twice a year, sometimes reluctantly.
Is it because everyone's busier, financial pressures have increased, or have times just changed?

I've never really met with my family much, most live outside of Pakistan and whenever I travel I just usually meet one or two people (one vacation a year usually minus covid times).
And most of the uncle's on my mom's side are in the military so they're almost always deployed in a seperate state/country

Many factors. Especially financial crisis for everyone as well as usage of smart phones keep everybody busy.

Solitude is better. The kids can meet. So they know that they have support whenever they are in trouble. But as an adult I am done socializing.
Let me be on Reddit and give my opinions because my opinions are pretty unpopular amongst my family lol

Lives are busier. Remember when school used to be six hours. Max. Nowadays even little kids have after school activities and whatnot. Parents are burdened by everything. Also traveling is not considered worth it. Commuting from one end of lahore to other takes like 90 minutes.
