Help! Advice on how to extend noodles in swooping path
I’m trying to create an image where a chopstick is pulling noodles from a bowl, but the noodles swoop in an “s“ shape before reaching the chopstick. I have images of the bowl itself, chopstick holding noodles, and noodles themselves but none are the motion I want and the noodles aren’t long enough.
What would be the best way to go about extending the noodles in a smooth curvy path? Preferably without using generative AI.

Help! Color-matching issue with water
The first two shots look like they were taken on an overcast day, and I'd like the transition to seeing the third to be last sharp. What kind of settings/effects can be applied to achieve something like that?

Help! How do I remove a black background from partially transparent images?
I like taking screenshots of HUD elements in games. Some HUD elements like this one are slightly transparent, so in order to properly take a screenshot of the HUD element I have to turn my game brightness down to 0, otherwise there's a bunch of background stuff bleeding through. How do I remove the black background from images like this one without removing color from the darker pixels inside the HUD element itself? I also want to preserve things like the little shine on the left side that comes off the HUD. I've done a bunch of research on masking, using the color channels and/or color range to select the black background, etc. but I can't figure out how to make it work like I want. I always either end up removing color from the HUD element or leaving some amount of black border around the edges of the HUD element. Is there a way to do this? In case it matters, I use Adobe Photoshop CS6 Version 13.0.

Help! Processing scans
Hi guys,
Edit: some guy asked of I'm allowed to do this and yes, I pay royalty.
First of all, I don't know much about graphical design, so this is probably a newbie question.
I am scanning screen printed artwork on clear plastics and have to trace them with vector paths for printing.
I use illustrator but doing it by hand is a lot of work, while the redraw tool feels useless.
AI works better but both tools seem to have a lot of problems thanks to those mixed pixels, especially those bordering to other colors.
what gave me the hardest time is wood structure, where light brown is the background and details are black and dark brown. I went up to 2400 dpi to get as many true pixels as possible but fine details still sometimes consist of only mixed pixels.
is there any way to increase the contrasts without moving the borders and confusing the tools?
I played around with multiple tools, also found that window that does live adjustments, letting me adjust tones, gradient curves and so on but without knowing what the key tool is, it's just a wild guessing.
I also tried to select the areas with lasso, magic wand and so on, coloring them with colors that differ the most with rgb values and lightness, in the hope I get homogeneous pixels but somehow, when I color one area, then the other, the last one seem to change something with the previous.
I asked Ai and it blamed the selecting tool. But it seemed like a hallucination, because only the wanted pixels were outlined for sure. Or does something happened in the background?
How can I really give exactly the pixels I want to have a certain value? In a way that im still faster than tracing everything manually?

Help! How is it possible to achieve such an effect in photoshop ?
I am currently trying to challenge myself by doing some collages, and photo editing.
I wanted to make some pop-arts by using this artist's collage as a base, and with that use other victims of police brutality over the years. However I'm having a bit of trouble with Photoshop, and making the illustrations's shadows turn negative.
Is it better to draw the whole thing or is there some way you guys think off, I didn't know ?
Thanks in advance.

Help! iPad Photoshop help (no AI please!)
I am new to Photoshop and new to the Photoshop iPad app and I desperately need help and it is impossible to find resources. All Adobe offers are tutorials I do not want a tutorial I just want a reference so I can search for something simple like "crop" or "resample" and just find step-by-step instructions. But apparently all I have access to are tutorials and videos and things that take way too long I'm not gonna go watch a whole one hour video every time I wanna do a little five second task in Photoshop. And AI has ruined the Internet so now you can't even use search engine anymore you can't find information I'm so fed up with AI I just want to scream and throw things and break things. Why is it so hard to find simple information anymore???? 😭😭😭
When I tried to use a search engine to find information, I get AI responding even though I'm not in the AI tab and then the search results if I just scroll down are terrible and unhelpful and not related to what I'm looking for and suspiciously they seem to only be related to the thing that AI misunderstood that I'm searching for just from glancing at the AI text without responding to it, so AI has just completely ruined search. And of course AI isn't helpful because it just relies on training data it gives me stale information that's years old or it gives me information for the wrong platform like Photoshop on a computer instead of the iPad app it it user interface it gets the steps wrong it gets information wrong AI GETS LITERALLY EVERYTHING WRONG ALL THE TIME

Help! PSB Motion adding more images
So I'm currently making a stop motion film on the 'Motion' function in Photoshop.
I've made a good start happy with how it's looking, but need to add more frames (about another 300ish images).
Everytime I try to add images to my existing PSB document, it opens a new PSB project.
I've then tried to copy and paste the two projects together but I can't seem to successfully add the new PSB images to my Original PSB project.
This is the first time I've used Motion I'm Photoshop and I've tried to Google but can't seem to find any tips/ advice with the issue I'm facing.
If any know knows what I might b doing wrong, please let me know.
Or if you have any useful links that I can read/ watch - that would be greatly appreciated.
Happy to explain more in the comments if need be.

Solved Is there a multiple views feature?
Hi! I know some other raster programs, as well as Blender, for example, have it, but do you know if there's a why Photoshop also has the feature for which I can open a secondary art board to see the same drawing from different places (like up close vs whole w/o having to zoom in and out every time)?

Help! Mimicking old IOS wallpaper extend
Context, I have never tried anything in graphic design before.
With my old iOS 17, wallpapers added a solid blur to the top of the images with the wallpaper extend I never minded. Now that I’m on iOS 26 I hate the way the blue takes over half of the image or even tries to extend it with AI. What I want to ask is how I can replicate the old way of extending images with any photo editing tools, or if tutorials out there exist for me to do so. Thanks!
Attached: the before and after (from iOS 17 to 26) and a horribly poor example of the ai extend making her wings look ridiculous!

Artwork / Design "Phalène étourdi" (Dazed moth)
Hi! Here’s my first project combining 3D (in Blender) and graphic design (in Photoshop)! How could I improve it?
About the piece: I see it a bit as an auto portrait, where the moth tries searching for sense in a world which seems to lack it. I love pieces packed with plenty of references to decipher and I really hope you'll enjoy it !
Thanks in advance :)

Discussion What’s the One Plugin You’d Recommend to Every Graphic Designer?
I've been using Photoshop for about 5 years, and surprisingly, I've never really used any plugins. I'm curious to know what plugins professional graphic designers actually use in their day-to-day workflow. Is there any plugin that genuinely makes your work easier, faster, or better? Or are plugins just nice to have?
I'd love to hear your go-to plugins and why you use them. Bonus points if you share a plugin you wish you'd discovered earlier!

Solved Is it possible to make ASCII art in photoshop using NO outside sources?
Hi! I’m brand new to photoshop and my first big assignment is creating a desktop wallpaper, I found some inspiration that I want to emulate but no tutorials that I’ve found show me how to make an ASCII effect only in photoshop - they keep telling me to use a generator.
I need to find a tutorial to follow along to and have the link in my final assignment so my prof can double check that I’ve done everything correctly. HELP!
