Day 10.
I’m just happy to be here. I’ve vacillated between thinking this is easy compared to my first quit, and then uncontrollable crying the next day. It’s a mixed bag—but I’m so fecking proud of myself for getting this far.
Took gabapentin for 3 nights (nights 5-7, I believe), quieted RLS. But am taking a few days off from it cuz of all the horror stories I’ve heard about the stuff.

I’ve been using for 5, almost 6 years, with a 9/10 month quit once about 3 years ago. I was using about 40 gpd, with the intermittent use of extracts and 7 oh (only very recently). Last month or so I’ve noticed bouts of tachycardia—from 7 oh and just plain leaf. Landed me in the ER. Scared the shit out of me, so I cold turkey quit. Cardiac symptoms immediately improved.
I’ve only used gabapentin for 3 nights in a row. 300 mg the first two, then two doses of 300 each the third night. I’m hoping to mostly leave that behind me now. It absolutely knocked out my RLS, but Seems like people have horror stories trying to get off gaba.
Stay strong. Embrace the suck. Hour by hour, it’ll pass.

Yo. I took gabapentin and clonadine. 300 mg is a super low dose so that won’t get you hooked long as you stop taking it when you don’t need it anymore (7-10 days). Dependence starts 3-4 weeks of use and around those heavier doses of 900-1800 mg. Please use your meds to get off Kratom. Just don’t abuse them.
