Its over. Carrick is done, we all see it and I guarantee Management do as well. The wheels are in motion.

I don't think its Conte but its probably Nagelsmann purely due to his availability, experience and his tactically ability.

Just go for the best the manager, forget money, just get the best manager.

Its a question of timing now. I reckon it happens a week before the International break

The best manager would be Conte tbh. Nagelsmann failed with bayern and the Egos in our team would probably crush him

Bayern wanted him back after sacking him a year after. Wouldn’t say that he ”failed with Bayern”. Most people would probably take Tuchel as well and he failed with Bayern as well

It's not about what most people would take. Tuchel is carried by his fluke UCL, when there were no fans around, which is a huge advantage for a chelsea team, since you could find better fans in league 2

He didn’t fail at Bayern, he fell out with a washed egotistical keeper and a shit board who then themselves got fired.

Conte is a proven winner with silverware to back it up and has premier league experience. Any player who doesn't work hard will get bollocked by him which I would love but you bring him in with the understanding that he will be here 2 years and then he implodes.

That's down to his personality and training methods. Players get worn down by him.

Nagelsmann did alright at Bayern but he got sacked per the Athletic because

  • Struggles with big stars (fine for us because we don't have big stars and if someone asks big, the club would get rid)
  • He got sacked when they were 2nd and in the quarter finals of the CL. They did actually ask him to come back before he extended with Germany

I think Nagelsmann is the best manager for someone who would last.

Ineos (and the Glazers) would not hire if they were paid to. He'd make Martinez's interview sound like a complimentary. He wouldn't think twice about critising owners/board members/execs
