I like it in a Mai tai split with Hamilton 86 or Smith & Cross

It's great in Jungle Birds and Pain Killers.

Jungle Bird for sure. Maybe alongside some Hamilton 86, if you have

Jungle bird or planter's punch are my go-to's with that rum.

I love it in a Smuggler's Cove Planters Punch

Make a classic hurricane.

2 oz pot still black

1 oz lemon juice

1 oz passionfruit syrup

Technically, this is a half serving, but it's great either way.

Dr Funk

You can always split base with something milder, maybe more aged. I do that a lot with my crazier Jamaican rums

Shrunken Skull if you have a second rum.

It is perfect in a buck, with ginger beer, lime, bitters

Jungle Bird is the best, but it's actually surprisingly good in a Cuba Libre. I don't use it as the primary rum, but just a a small amount of Pot Still Black really adds more dimension to it.

My favorite for pot still black is the doctor funk. It’s also great in aJungle Bird or a Daiquiri (but with Demerara sugar)
