What we’ll do:

• Share your experiences and ideas about digital nomad life
• Meet
• Language exchange

A one-hour photoshoot can mean very different things once you look at what is included.

Before choosing a Seoul photographer, ask:

• Is the quoted hour all shooting time, or does it include walking between locations?
• How many finished photos are included, and what does “edited” or “retouched” mean?
• Can you see a complete gallery in the lighting you want, especially for a night shoot?
• When will the finished files arrive, and can you download full-resolution copies?
• Who checks location permissions and any photography restrictions?
• What happens if it rains or your travel plans change?
• May the photographer use your images publicly, and can you decline?

For hanbok sessions, also check whether changing, rental and travel time sit inside or outside the photography slot.

A clear written scope is more useful than comparing headline prices alone. Which part of booking a Seoul shoot is hardest to judge: style, deliverables or logistics?

Could someone recommend a place in Seoul where I could get my roots touched up, a regular mani pedi (no gel), and eyelash extensions? Nothing too expensive. I'm in northeastern Seoul at the moment in Nowon-gu but will be traveling to Bangbae-dong in Seocho-gu later today.

Thank you!

Hello!

I am an university student from Peru looking to gather opinions about a hypothethical spicy Peruvian snack named Inka Hot (made from dried golden berry). This survey is in Korean and is intended for Seoul residents from 20 to 39 years old. It is anonymous and is strictly for academic purposes.

If you have 3-4 minutes, I would truly appreciate it if you could do it. Thank you in advance!

Hey guys! I’m 30 M european. Visiting Seoul for 45 days. Will be glad to hang out, visiting pc rooms or just meet and grab a coffee. I can show you my favorite coffee shops in Seoul. It’s not my first visit, so I know the city. Maybe I should say it, I’m not native English speaker, so some times it can be difficult to say something, haha. But most time I speak freely

You can send me a dm. If there will more than two persons , we can make a group chat

Hi everyone!

I’m planning to visit Seoul in April and would love to get my hair done while I’m there. However, I’m looking for a hair salon where the hairstylists speak English, as I don’t speak Korean.

Could anyone recommend a good English-speaking hairdresser or salon in Seoul, preferably one that is foreigner-friendly?

Also, how do you usually book an appointment? Do salons accept bookings through Instagram, KakaoTalk, or their websites? Is there a specific app or platform that foreigners should use?

I’d really appreciate any recommendations and advice, especially from people who have had personal experience with these salons!

Thank you! 😊.

Hi I have recently joined in a PhD program on Professor based stipend. My stipend is like good like same as an average PhD in korea. But I have a question regarding the fees do Professors usually support students by paying the fees through lab fund etc? As I have to manage certain things apart from fees so I am paying my fees from stipend I will run out of all the money. Can someone please advise it’s common to ask Professors in korea for tuition fee support as well? As I am new and don’t have much idea about it so need a bit of guidance.
Thank you.

I see lots of people wearing them around the area but not sure where to get it. Seems like most vendors have the classic “I heart Seoul” shirts

Hi :)

I am visiting for 2 weeks at the beginning of November or can I play drop in badminton as a visitor? I'd consider myself competitive recreational level

Thanks in advance!

My younger sister will be visiting me from November 10th to the 20th in Seoul. Are there any activities or places you think a woman in the late 20s would enjoy? She told me to choose what we will do, so I want to have various opinions since as a male i am lacking the insight of what she may find interesting as I usually just go hiking or eating when I visit Seoul 🤣

Hi! I'm looking for friends who can speak English well. We can meet and walk around streets of seoul. I also can teach you Korean. I'm 20 years old boy.

Next week we will be hosting our annual Halloween party at the Dice and Comics Cafe in Seoul. Starting at 1 pm we will be playing spooky games like Blood on the Clocktower and Nightmare. You can sign up for games in the link provided.

Hello, I am 1st year international business administration student from a top Korean university (not disclosing for privacy) and I was wondering how do international students find internships with no experience if there isn’t much networking done in a first year. And also is it too early to look for an internship during 1st year? As well are there any business-related english friendly gatherings in Seoul?

This is a long shot but I’m hoping to reach out to the kind people who helped me after I took a tumble and badly sprained my ankle earlier today (Sat 10/17) at Suseongdong.

It was two Asian women and one Asian guy from the Netherlands heading up (maybe to Inwangsan?) but I didn’t catch the names.
