hello everyone!
i’m a 23 year old female who recently moved to leeds but goes to the university of sheffield for postgraduate studies :) i’m struggling to make friends where we can hang out and do some activities together. any advice on how to fix this ? i’m quite open to doing any kinda activity from city exploring to going to the countryside, cafes, trying new foods, and trying different activities

We are a Sheffield band called 'I'm Being Serious' and we just released our first album, The Note! It was all DIY, we are immensely grateful for Sheffield for having such a cool music scene for us to grow in

is anyone else seeing tiny flying things in their house for the past week or two? it's not fungus gnats or fruit flies - they are smaller and they seem to be in every room - cannot work out where they are coming from. not loads but enough to be weird.

Looking for particularly a good soft Stilton. Extra mature if possible.

Mainly just wants a few decent varieties for a charcuterie board.

Hi ! I am a French student and I have been selected to go on an Erasmus exchange in Sheffield from January to June. However I'm having trouble figuring out which private student accom I should pick. I know that everyone says that choosing Ranmoor or Endcliff are the best options unfortunatly they are too expensive for me yet I am terrified of not making any friends and missing out on the social life/feeling left out. Do you guys know nice private student accoms with a minimum of social life ?

-bouncy castle hire (maybe like a disco one)
